What does this role do?
As Accounts Receivable you will:
- Process twice weekly banking for collection,
- Ensure cash/cheque collections from the London office, Rehoming centres and Charity shop locations are carried out correctly,
- Review and file weekly rehoming centre banking returns,

The Active Recovery Project gives adult survivors of abuse the opportunity to take part in community-based activities. Members of Active Recovery can participate in a variety of group activities with others who share or understand their experience and develop peer relationships, resulting in increasing confidence and reduced isolation. The activities are based on ideas from our members and include water-based activities (such as rowing, canoeing, sailing and kayaking), surfing, trips to community spaces and creative sessions (such as arts and crafts). Activities take place every week. Each activity will last approximately 2.5 hours each. Members can attend the group sessions for up to 18 months.
Job Purpose:
We are looking for a warm and passionate leader to come and join the Active Recovery Service.
As an Active Recovery Lead, their job will be to develop and deliver the Active Recovery Project in Bristol and in Somerset. Using a trauma-informed approach, the Active Recovery Lead will create and provide a safe and supportive space for clients from The Sexual Violence Alliance organisations (The Southmead Project, SARSAS, Womankind and the Bridge Sarc) to participate in a variety of group activities, with others who share or understand their experience and develop peer relationships, resulting in increasing confidence and reduced isolation.
Principal Tasks:

Run two Active Recovery groups a week, with , with the help of the Practitioner.

Provide initial trauma-informed assessment phone calls and/or meetings with potential members as part of the registration process for Active Recovery. This includes assessing need, risk and suitability for the service using a trauma-informed approach.

Create safety plans and tailor activity sessions where appropriate after building relationships with members following the initial phone calls.
-
Plan trauma-informed sessions for members, including producing risk assessments for each activity, visiting activity locations and delivering relevant trauma training to activity providers.

Oversee and lead on setting up, delivering and debriefing about activity sessions with members, volunteers and staff. Ensuring members are clear on each session's ground rules and safeguarding processes, using the Member’s Agreement.

Provide trauma-informed face-to-face support to members at sessions who may become overwhelmed or require help dealing with flashbacks and dissociation.

The Community Engagement + Grants Officer plays a key role in our grants team which is responsible for all aspects of our grantmaking, as well as actively building long-lasting relationships with the local voluntary sector and wider community. The grants team members are our experts in local needs and in the effectiveness of our charity partners in responding to them. In recent years, we have adopted a participatory approach for distributing our larger funds, which means decisions around funding are delegated to panels of local residents who have lived experience of the issues we are trying to tackle.
The Community Engagement + Grants Officer supports the Senior Grant Manager with the delivery of all of our larger grant rounds, as well as managing our small grants programme and donor-led grants. It is a busy and varied role, with opportunities to develop your skills and experience in a small and supportive team.

The Refuge Service provide emergency accommodation to women and children fleeing domestic abuse and sexual violence. About the Role
As a Refuge Support Worker in our Enfield refuge, you will help create a safe, welcoming environment for women and families escaping abuse. You’ll handle phone enquiries, prepare rooms for new arrivals, support with deliveries, and help maintain clean, safe communal areas.
You’ll introduce new residents to Solace services, explain key policies, and ensure they are aware of internal and external support options. Working alongside each resident, you will develop support plans, assist with benefits and housing applications, accompany them to appointments when needed, and help them work towards safe, independent move‑on accommodation.
The role also includes collecting and recording payments, completing health and safety checks, maintaining accurate records, and building strong working relationships with local authorities and partner agencies.
You’ll be part of a supportive team, attend regular meetings and supervision, follow all safeguarding, equality, and organisational policies, and contribute to the smooth and safe running of the refuge.

Management of Casework Function
· Manage the day-to-day delivery of the casework service, ensuring cases are progressed efficiently and to a high standard.
· Directly line-manage the casework team, providing supervision, guidance, and support.
· Lead on induction, training, and ongoing development of caseworkers with the support of the Head of Operations.
· Oversee case allocation and workload management to ensure fair distribution and timely progression of cases.

Performance and Quality Management
· Oversee the production of casework statistics and reporting.

Service Development

Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to support the planning, delivery and optimisation of Alder Hey Children’s Charity’s digital marketing activity across key channels, reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager.
This is a hands-on digital role focused on day-to-day delivery, advertising and optimisation across the charity’s digital platforms. The Digital Marketing Officer will play a key role in ensuring digital advertising channels are engaging and effective in supporting fundraising, brand awareness and supporter engagement.
The role works closely with colleagues across Marketing, Fundraising and Communications, and supports the delivery of digital activity set by the Marketing & Communications Manager.
Main Duties/Tasks
Digital Duties:
Content Creation, Management, and Campaign Support
- Creating, editing, and publishing content across the charity’s digital channels (website, email, and ad channels) in conjunction with the Content Creation Officer and Marketing Officers.
- Managing day-to-day updates to the charity websites using the CMS, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and aligned to brand guidelines. Maintain high standards of brand identity across all digital touch points.
- Building and sending email communications using the charity’s email platform, supporting segmentation, stewardship and supporter journeys.
- Supporting the delivery of integrated marketing and fundraising campaigns through digital channels.
