The Supporter Journey Officer is a new role within the Supporter Journey team. This role will suit a proactive team player who has experience in the fundraising sector together with a keen interest in, and knowledge of, supporter experience and stewardship. Strong communication skills – both written and verbal - are a must.

About the role

As the Supporter Journey Officer, you will assist the Supporter Journey Manager with the development and elevation of an integrated supporter journey programme at Versus Arthritis, ensuring our contactable community receives a consistent and highly engaging supporter experience, which builds loyalty and inspires action. 

This will include delivery of audience focused, integrated organisational journeys that build on our highly motivated community of supporters, based on shared values. These journeys will be managed across our platforms and audiences to significantly grow our voluntary income and lifetime value. You will be responsible for the delivery of communications across channels, including email, post and text messaging, ensuring accurate and timely implementation of agreed communications.

Central to increasing loyalty and inspiring positive action from our audience, we share the extent of the work being done by Versus Arthritis for the 10 million people in the UK living with arthritis. Alongside product managers, you will work to optimise in-product journeys across the organisation through consultancy and shared learning. You will work collaboratively with the head of department and other directorate colleagues to create and embed a fundraising and engagement culture across the organisation.

A key part of the role is to provide practical, administrative support and to lead on facilitating the collection of insight evaluation and future development, ensuring this supports team performance and learning. We’re a small and dynamic team at the forefront of innovating the charity’s Income and Engagement directorate.

This is a unique opportunity to shape how we communicate with our supporters across multiple channels – including email, post and SMS – ensuring that everyone who interacts with Versus Arthritis feels valued, inspired, and connected to our cause.

THE ANGLICAN COMMUNION OFFICE (ACO) IS RECRUITING FOR AN OPERATIONS OFFICER

The post-holder will maintain a manageable caseload of clients needing support with their welfare rights and benefits. The role is to support the Welfare Rights Advice Project Team with the following:

1. To carry out an initial client assessment, identifying any issues with their benefits and any claims they can make to maximise their income.
2. Provide casework (including challenging decisions) for welfare benefits available to clients with mental health difficulties and their carers: i.e. Personal Independence Payments, Universal Credit, Employment and Support Allowance and Housing Benefit.
3. Provide information and advice as appropriate about issues related to a client’s particular situation.
4. Provide advice and casework for mobility and discretionary schemes and personal grants that could be of benefit to clients.
5. Take referrals directly from service users, carers or staff from other agencies (encouraging use of our online referral form)
6. Signpost and refer clients to agencies that assist with transition from hospital to community living, or to tackle social isolation and improve mental wellbeing.
7. Maintain records in accordance with Hear Us policies and procedures, including the handling of confidential and private documents and keeping written and computer records up to date and secure.

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.   

We support all people who have experienced forced migration, regardless of their proximity to the labour market, to develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We run STEP online and in person programmes across the UK.  

We are now expanding our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kongers (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.

We are recruiting Cantonese speaking Employment Advisors to join the STEP team delivering this new programme. You will provide high quality advice and guidance through 1:1 employability support and group employability workshops with the aim of coaching individuals and supporting them on their journey into employment that suits their previous experience and skill set.

You will prepare participants for employment and help them to achieve their chosen training and employment objectives. You will monitor and encourage participants’ engagement and attendance in all aspects of the programme. The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key senior member of the finance team and will help shape the strategic management and direction of the team. • Qualified with a recognised professional body, or be able to prove they are qualified by experience

The Communications team currently consists of the Senior Communications Manager. The Communications team has oversight over all areas of organisational communications including the website and digital communications, branding, media relations and production of content. First Give inspires young people to make a difference to causes they care about. We work in partnership with secondary schools, providing a fully resourced scheme of work that guides an entire year group of students to engage with local charities and causes, and then carry out social action (fundraising, raising awareness, campaigning, volunteering etc) in support of them.

Programme Delivery Officer role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Programmes Team as a Programme Delivery Officer. PDOs will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of the First Give programme in up to 50 schools, ensuring smooth running of the programme, plus providing guidance and troubleshooting for the lead teachers at First Give partner schools.

The role will be hybrid, with 3 days a week in our main offices in West Hampstead, London. Regular travel to schools across London and the South East will be required.

Key responsibilities

• Provide logistic and programme support to teachers delivering the First Give programme at their school, including but not limited to:
  • an introductory Programme Call with the Lead teacher;

  • troubleshooting via phone and email;
  • booking in First Give facilitated sessions
• Ensure all programmes are delivering all core elements of the First Give programme
