We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and driven people to join our growing fundraising team.

Our Sunflower Appeal launched in June 2025 and aims to raise £5million by 2029 to open a new cancer centre at the Princess Royal Hospital, Telford. This will double chemotherapy capacity in the region, as well as adding outpatient clinics and diagnostic facilities for the first time in Telford. This is our biggest appeal to date, and we need to make sure that our fundraising team is robust and able to rise to this challenge.

We’re looking for people to support our amazing community of fundraisers and donors in the following areas:

- Corporate- we work with business from around our region, building long-term charity partnerships, engaging them in supporting events, and involving their teams in volunteering opportunities. One of our new team members will help us build on our programme of corporate engagement, looking across the region to identify and engage new supporters, as well as working closely with our existing friends in the business community. This role can be based at either our Shrewsbury or Telford office.

- Community- Community fundraising is at the heart of our charity, and we are constantly amazed by the commitment and creativity of our supporters across the region. We are looking for another member of our team to support community fundraising and make sure our community have a brilliant experience with us. This role will have a specific focus on building our support in Telford & Wrekin and will be based primarily in our Telford office.

Our Fundraisers need to be able to build successful relationships and will be motivated to make a real difference to their local community through their fundraising efforts. They will be confident, engaging and able to communicate our message to a wide range of people. They will be resourceful and able to identify opportunities, getting people involved in a way that suits them, and adds real value to our cause.

We are looking for the equivalent of two full time people to fill these roles. This could be one person working in each area, but we will consider part time and job shares opportunities for the right candidates.

Job purpose

The Digital Marketing & Content Manager will lead on creating and delivering high-quality digital communications across Iswe and the Global Citizens’ Assembly. You will turn strategy into compelling, accessible content; design and deliver digital campaigns; and steward audiences across multiple platforms. You will work closely with teams and partners across regions, using insight and analytics to enhance reach, visibility and engagement.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, ideal for someone energised by fast-moving environments, global collaboration, and mission-driven work. It will suit someone comfortable taking ownership in an environment where processes and priorities are still being shaped, and where proactive leadership (including strong prioritisation) is essential.

Key responsibilities

1. Strategic contribution & prioritisation

• Contribute actively to the development and refinement of Iswe’s digital communications strategy, bringing insight from audiences, analytics and the wider context.

• Exercise judgement about what content, channels and campaigns will have the greatest impact at different moments, particularly during high-profile events.

• Translate broad organisational priorities into clear, focused digital communications plans, even where direction is initially high-level or evolving.

1. Content creation & production

• Draft, edit and publish clear, engaging content for websites, newsletters, social channels, campaigns and events.

• Produce and edit multimedia content including short-form videos, interviews, animations and motion graphics.

• Oversee the rapid turnaround of video packages and social media assets during key event moments

• Work with regional partners and teams to document and share community and assembly participant stories in respectful, accurate and culturally appropriate ways.

• Write accessible copy that brings data insights, participant experiences and research findings to life.

• Commission and manage external creatives (videographers, illustrators, editors, writers, translators) where needed.

• Create accurate, accessible technical and scientific content that supports public learning and participation, coordinating with internal teams and partner contributors, fact-checking and commissioning as needed.

• Maintain and develop visual templates, content wrappers, slide decks and brand-aligned styles.

1. Digital marketing & campaign delivery

• Lead digital campaigns to grow awareness, participation and engagement with Iswe, the Global Citizens’ Assembly and Assemblis (Iswe’s participation platform).

• Manage the end-to-end planning and delivery of content across channels, ensuring the right stories, assets and updates are published at the right moments.

• Maintain and update content across Iswe dot org, globalassemblies dot org and assemblis dot org through CMS, including Craft and Squarespace.

• Ensure all content is accurate, inclusive, and aligned with brand guidelines and accessibility best practice

• Develop and optimise user journeys, onboarding flows and email automations based on audience insight.

• Use analytics (e.g., Matomo, Google Analytics, email platform analytics) to track performance and guide improvements across websites, social channels and email platforms.

• Support SEO and discoverability by maintaining clear metadata, structured content, and optimised landing pages.

• Implement light A/B testing for messaging, templates or calls to action.

• Support tagging, segmentation and list management within email and CRM tools.

• Support internal reporting by highlighting patterns, opportunities and areas for improvement.

1. Translation & global accessibility

• Work with the Communications Director, internal teams and regional partners to shape global communication needs

• Coordinate translation workflows across multiple languages (commissioning providers or working through Iswe’s global partners) to ensure quality and consistency.

• Manage transcription workflows, proofing processes and materials from contributors across regions.

1. Collaboration & organisational knowledge

• Work closely with Communications, Fundraising and Programme teams to align messaging and surface stories.

• Contribute to the development of a knowledge library, ensuring materials are organised, current and ready for sharing.

• Help maintain up-to-date versions of framing documents and training resources.

About the job

We are looking to recruit a Grants and Foundations Manager to join Caritas Salford’s fundraising team. You will be part of a team that is passionate about tackling poverty and inequality, where your work will have a real and visible impact. Your focus will be on maintaining and growing income from charitable trusts and statutory agencies.

The Grants and Foundations Manager position is ideal for someone with previous experience of income generation and a proven success in securing funding from trusts and grant making bodies. You will work closely with senior and service managers, to research new funding opportunities, building and sustaining strong relationships with new and existing funders. You will prepare grant applications and maintain a comprehensive database of funders, opportunities and grant applications, in addition to managing and evaluating bids to ensure optimal outcomes.

You will be highly organised with excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to produce clear, compelling and persuasive proposals. Additionally, you will have strong relationship building skills, with the ability to engage and grow income from a wide range of supporters.

A high level of computer literacy and IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM is essential.

In Spring 2028, the National Gallery will launch a new, public-facing Research Centre to facilitate and showcase our world-leading research in the history and science of painting. Onsite face to face service, with flexibility around these hours required as per resident and service requirements. All managers, including this position will take part in the out of hours on call duty. 

About the Role

We're looking for a Service Manager to join our team based in RBKC. You will manage multiple dispersed services within the area. In this role, you will support your team to deliver person centred care and support to residents who face multiple and complex needs which includes mental health challenges, substance use challenges, and homelessness. You will be a natural leader, able to support a team with your knowledge and experience to provide the best support to the residents, through empowerment and upskilling. 

You will support them to deliver a seamless and supportive service which enables residents to overcome personal challenges and to achieve their goals. We're looking for someone who is solution focused, has a passion for the resident group we support, and driven to make a lasting change to lives. This is a 12 month fixed term contract with the view that it may be extended into a permanent position in the future.

You will bring energy and passion to the role, work flexibly to meet service needs, and contribute new ideas and opportunities to develop the service further while maintaining high standards of excellence.

• Experience in frontline, and now able to empower a team to deliver a seamless service

• Confidence in using IT; we use various systems and software's so need someone who is confident in learning new IT skills and can navigate around computer systems

This role will be key in enabling us to strengthen long term financial sustainability, through multi-year funding relationships and to drive restricted and unrestricted income to realise the strategy for 2030.

Skills and Responsibilities

To develop relationships to secure gifts and grants from Corporate Foundations, Trusts and statutory grant makers to achieve income targets. Responsibilities include:

Prospect Research:

• Identify and develop a pipeline of opportunities from grant-giving trusts and foundations.
• Use internal database, online resources, desk research, and contact mapping to identify new funder opportunities.
• Review trusts’ and foundations’ funding criteria to grow the prospect pipeline.
• Develop a thorough understanding of our work and future developments to identify new funding opportunities.

Submitting grant applications:

• Create compelling and persuasive funding appeals.
• Complete grant application forms and follow application processes as required.
• Work closely with colleagues across the Directorate and the wider charity to articulate our work and build strong funding propositions.

Leadership & Relationship Management:

• Lead and manage the Trusts and Philanthropy Executive by developing skills, conducting appraisals and overseeing ongoing development.
• Lead & steward a portfolio of existing charitable trusts and foundations, and cultivate new potential donors, ensuring their support is recognised and celebrated.
• Ensure funders are thanked promptly and that grant terms and conditions are applied.
• Provide progress reports and manage all formal reporting requirements on time.
• Build relationships in person, by phone, email, or virtual meetings to secure long-term commitment.
• Identify opportunities for funders to meet key staff and attend events and site visits that strengthen their relationship with the charity.
• Implement the High Value Donor Stewardship Plan.
• Take a proactive role in developing assets such as appeals and cultivation events.
• Work with colleagues across the charity to monitor and evaluate funded projects, producing reports that demonstrate impact.

Administration and Reporting:

• Manage trust prospects and donors on the CRM database, ensuring records are accurate and compliant with fundraising regulations.
• Budget management, cost control forecasting and taking corrective action to achieve budgets.
• Use the CRM database to manage task “actions”, prioritise and evaluate opportunities, and record funder interactions.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of high value relationships.
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure grant applications are coordinated across the organisation.

Education & Qualifications:

• Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience

Experience:

• Significant experience and track record in trust fundraising.
• Experience of writing compelling proposals and appeals.
• Proven experience of working as part of a team to deliver ambitious income targets.
• Experience in undertaking prospect research and creating a pipeline of prospects through to cultivation, ask and stewardship.
• Experience of securing and managing statutory funding desirable.
• Demonstrable experience of using fundraising or relationship management databases.
