About the role
We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Business Development Manager with a passion for relationship building and service sales. Someone who can actively engage and work with our existing client portfolio and win new business through formal tendering opportunities to ensure VoiceAbility remains a provider of choice.
In this new role, you will sit in the Business and Strategy directorate working proactively with external stakeholders and colleagues from across the organisation to ensure that we grow our portfolio of contracts, re-win existing business and advise clients of new services. You will be doing a mixture of new business sales and account management of existing services.
This position is a full-time, 35 hours a week, permanent contract with a starting salary between £39,000 - £46,500 per annum depending on skills and experience. We are open to a conversation about flexible working or job sharing. Whilst the role is home-based, some travel for meetings and events will be required.

How will you make a difference?
Through your commercial management expertise, you will win new business and ensure the retention of existing contracts. You will proactively manage your own workload, balancing known pipeline opportunities, acquiring, building and fostering relationships with stakeholders, collaborating with internal teams to craft winning proposals, and making the most of the new business opportunities open to us to ensure commercial success.
About you
You will have a minimum of two years experience of working in a Commercial Management, Account Management or Business Development role.
Have proven success in winning business through formal competitive tendering, ideally with central/ local government, by developing a credible position and clear convincing material and data.
You will have experience of working in an agile environment to respond to external factors that are likely to change at short-notice.
Experienced in stakeholder engagement and influencing both externally and internally, you will be a trusted partner to those who know you.

Job Purpose:
WomenMATTA delivers support services to women in Manchester and Trafford who are in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with, the criminal justice system. This includes one to one advice, advocacy, practical and emotional support, and group interventions.
This position will provide strategic oversight and operational management to all WomenMATTA services delivered through hubs across multiple sites in Manchester and Trafford, ensuring quality standards are consistently met, staff are effectively managed, partnerships are established and maintained, and budgets are appropriately managed.

Role description
As Commercial Sales & Events Coordinator you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support to the weddings and event hire team. Dealing with initial enquiries and conducting show-rounds to putting together event packages and maintaining the booking system are all in a days work. In addition, you’ll be adept at liaising with clients and suppliers, setting up for events and delivering the best possible experience to guests on the day – always making sure we deliver a first-class service. Weddings, film shoots (we can certainly name drop a few people!), event and venue hires - you’ll deliver excellent customer service and administrative support. Thank you for your interest in our Country Manager role. ROLDA (Romanian League in Defence of Animals) is a small animal welfare charity working to improve the lives of dogs, cats, and other animals in Romania and internationally. Since its establishment in 2006, ROLDA has become a beacon of hope for the millions of vulnerable stray animals in Romania – one of Europe's economically poorest nations. Our mission is to manage the homeless animal population, estimated to be millions, through six key focuses: rescue, rehabilitation, sheltering, sterilisation, and education. Within our shelters, inspired by British kennel design and maintained to meet EU animal welfare standards, we can house up to 700 stray dogs at a time. Here, they receive complete veterinary care, rehabilitation, and preparation for rehoming. Since 2006, we have helped over 48,000 animals (primarily dogs and cats) and built two shelters for dogs and one for disabled and senior cats. We also distribute support, primarily through small grants, to six other charities in Romania and over 40 shelters in Ukraine. We rehome mainly in Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK. In addition to our efforts in rescuing and rehoming animals, ROLDA tackles the root cause of Romania's homeless animals through comprehensive neutering programmes and educational initiatives. Since 2006, we have successfully neutered nearly 20,000 cats and dogs, significantly impacting Romania's severe overpopulation of animals.
Job Overview:
As the Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and impact of ROLDA in the UK. This is a remote position (for now) that requires strategic thinking, people management skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to achieving our organisational objectives.

Blue Marine Foundation is seeking a Programme Manager who will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Convex Seascape Survey and lead relations with the project’s funder. This role may suit someone from a corporate or account management background, preferably local to London or the southeast and willing to travel internationally as needed. The Convex Seascape Survey is two years into a five-year, multi-million-pound pioneering research project working to quantify and understand blue carbon stored in the coastal ocean floor and its potential to help mitigate climate change. Convex Seascape Survey is a partnership between Blue Marine Foundation, Convex Insurance Limited and the University of Exeter, delivered in partnership with a consortium of over sixteen other organisations.
Project management
· Lead the project management process, matched to the project grant agreement, including oversight of project finance and all deliverables.
· Coordination of project partners to ensure activities and deliverables are achieved in keeping with quarterly milestones.
· Relationship management with project partners, serving as a main point of contact and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with the project’s progress and outcomes.
· Responsible for organising and feeding into Steering Committee meetings, as well as contributing as required to Advisory Group meetings.
· Managing supplier relationships, overseeing contracts and work package delivery.
· Representing the project at relevant conferences and forums or visiting fieldwork sites. International travel will be required at times.
Reporting
· Report progress into the steering committee on a quarterly basis, flagging areas of concern and actioning steering committee advice.
· Develop quarterly reports and updates for the funder against deliverables.
· Create annual reports for public viewing, promoting the success and progress of the survey, with support from the communications team.
· Creation of visual presentations for advisory and steering committee updates.
Finance
· Overseeing budget spending data for the project with support from Blue Marine’s finance team, and co-ordinate invoicing and budget reporting for the partners.
· Liaising closely with Blue Marine’s finance team to ensure efficient deployment and tracking of project funds.
· Coordinating finance reports for the funder and partners.
Communications
· Present the Project at public conferences and various stakeholder events
· Supporting the communications lead in delivery of project outreach through press, digital and social media
· Contribute interviews or quotes for press on project developments.
· Assisting the development and delivery of a bespoke, project-linked education programme
The successful applicant will be highly organised, with a rigorous approach to project management. Desired experience includes:
· Successful delivery of multi-million pound, multi-year research programmes or other projects
· Track record of high-impact project management, accurate reporting and successful project delivery
· Competent and confident public-speaker with the ability to communicate complex subjects to a range of audiences which could include corporate, political and public audiences
· High level of numeracy with the ability to track multiple budgets over time
· Excellent communicator with a diplomatic approach to management
· Skilled at reporting, with the ability to condense complex information quickly
· Aptitude and ability to work under pressure
· Basic scientific understanding may be valuable, but is not a prerequisite
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with some evening and weekend work required from time to time.
Location: Flexible with some time at Somerset House, London. Frequent travel required, including internationally to conferences, project partner locations and events.

About Women in Prison
Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.

To provide strategic oversight and operational management for Women in Prison services in Surrey. The role will focus on delivering Surrey Women’s CRS probation contract, which involves providing holistic one to one support and advocacy to women serving community orders, and will also focus on development of the Surrey programme.
