As a vital part of the safeguarding team, the Training Administrator supports the department through a variety of tasks from the booking and administration of safeguarding training courses run by the Diocese and content management for the training webpages through to the maintenance of the personal safeguarding training record database.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
Training
- In conjunction with the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, facilitate a safeguarding learning and development programme for the diocese aligned with the national church Learning and Development Framework, Church Safeguarding Standards, reflecting the specific safeguarding responsibilities of those in role.
- To administer all lay and clergy safeguarding training run by the Diocese in line with above, in approximately 80 sessions a year. This includes: producing a deadlines document; administers the sessions on Zoom / Teams, posting courses on Eventbrite and operating as content manager for publicity on the Diocesan website.
- To administer bookings for training courses; copy course materials and respond to emails and queries on training matters, ensure compliance of work submission required before and after courses.
- Log entry of all course participants onto a database to ensure each person has a personal safeguarding training record, and each parish has a safeguarding training profile.
General Administrative
- Work with IT and Information and Data Manager position to produce reports for the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser on safeguarding training issues and trends, and annual statistics represented in charts and graphs for inclusion in the annual safeguarding review.
- Produce quarterly reports on training compliance for Archdeacons and the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel meetings.
- Helping to organise and minute meetings when the safeguarding administrator is not available/on leave.
- Support the safeguarding team with other tasks and projects as identified by the Safeguarding Administrator or Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser.

Central to our offering is our UR4Meals service, providing free, home-cooked food to people who cannot afford to provide for themselves. We are also very proud of our UR4Driving programme, which supports people recently out of prison with free driving lessons in exchange for community volunteering. Gaining a driving licence greatly enhances their future employability prospects and helps break the cycle of re-offending. Additionally, our UR4Jobs project focusses on both client wellbeing and breaking down the many barriers to employment faced by disadvantaged people every day.
The role
Is an exciting new edition to the TUR team, created to capitalise on the fact that the number of businesses in our catchment area is 45000+, but we’re not trying to talk to all of them, just target a few – ideally by gaining referrals and recommendations. So the job is to proactively find those local businesses happy to talk to us, understand what they might be looking for by partnering with a charity, share our brilliant story along with the business case (which is strong) for them to get involved with us in some way. We have made an excellent start, we already have a small number of great corporate partners, and this job is about taking it all on to the next level. As you would expect the role is about creating contacts, networking, maximising the face-to-face time with prospective partners and where possible gaining referrals. And, ultimately this is all because, the bigger our portfolio of corporate partners all feeling great about their involvement with us, the more able we are to raise the funds we need to keep up with an ever-increasing demand for our services.
About You
You live within - or know well, West/Central London, you probably need a job with some working flexibility and want to have genuine belief in the product or service you’re talking about. You have a CV that demonstrates solid experience in a comparable role in a ‘business-to-business’ environment, a role - the success of which, is dependent on the levels of energy and proactivity you provide. This could be in another charity, CIC or other Non-Profit organisation. However, if you have a solid B2B background and want to explore a change of direction you are also very welcome to apply. New Horizon Youth Centre runs a busy day centre from Monday to Friday, providing basic needs to young people experiencing homelessness and a one-stop-shop for housing advice, youth work activities, counselling, jobs, education and training support. The Services Manager (Day Centre) is a brand new role for the organisation. They will work as part of the existing Youth Work Team to provide vital additional capacity and expertise to respond to the significantly increased demand we have been experiencing. This role is primarily focused on delivering our frontline day centre service each week. You will spend around 2-3 days per week frontline as our Duty Manager ensuring the smooth running of the day centre. We are looking to recruit a Senior Event Coordinator as part of the Events team, supporting the organisation and delivery of FIGO events – including the biennial FIGO World Congress, online and regional events, webinars and internal FIGO events – providing an excellent experience to our growing network of stakeholders.

We are looking for a Café Supervisor to be responsible for the day to day supervision and management of their designated Union Cafe. The post holder must ensure a high quality service, implementing new products as directed by the Catering Manager and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety and statutory regulations are met and maintained
The role is a full-time and permanent contract.
Do you have previous supervisory experience in a café or retail environment? Have you got experience of ensuring that health and safety, food hygiene and other statutory requirements are met?
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the café is open for business and ensuring a high-quality customer service at all times. The successful candidate will support the Catering Manager in determining hours of service, price, products, product range, potential new opportunities, and service standards. The Café Supervisor will also be in charge of undertaking ongoing merchandising to ensure customer awareness of available products/services and continued sales growth.
