Job description

Financial Capability Adviser

Hours: 21 hours per week

Salary: £28,000 pro rata (£15,892 actual)

Contract: Fixed-term contract until 31.03.26 (with probable renewal to June 2026 with further funding being sought beyond that).

Location: Based in one of our 3 offices in Alton, Bordon and Petersfield (and frequent travel across the area) and some home working

Citizens Advice East Hampshire is a local charity providing free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to over 7,500 people every year on the problems they face.  We work as part of a network of around 300 local Citizens Advice members across England and Wales.

Citizens Advice East Hampshire  are looking for a self motivated and compassionate Financial Capability Adviser to join our team in this new and rewarding role. You’ll be delivering both one-to-one and group financial education sessions across East Hampshire, empowering individuals to better manage their money and avoid financial crisis.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with individuals and communities, offering practical support to improve financial well-being and resilience in response to the ongoing cost of living challenges.
