As Philanthropy Officer, you’ll manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, cultivating long-term relationships and securing 5-figure donations to support Macmillan’s vital work. You’ll play a key role in engaging new donors through flagship initiatives like the Frontier Funders Club, which fuels innovation in cancer care.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Cultivating and stewarding relationships with high-net-worth individuals to secure and grow 5-figure gifts.
• Developing personalised engagement plans and delivering exceptional donor experiences.
• Identifying and researching new prospects, and collaborating across teams to diversify funding.
• Managing relationships with intermediaries such as CAF and NPT, ensuring smooth gift processing.
• Supporting senior volunteers and colleagues to uncover new donor opportunities.

BeSpace is a small but growing Christian charity with a big vision to see a future where every child has the opportunity to access creative reflective spaces to develop personal tools to pray, reflect and grow spiritually throughout their lives, helping churches, schools and communities to flourish.

We have seen incredible impact through developing prayer spaces in schools across Oxfordshire. Since 2010, over 65,000 children have experienced prayer spaces led by local churches, trained and resourced by us. Youth Participation Officer

Fitzrovia Youth in Action is looking for an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic person for our Youth Participation Officer role. If you feel like this is you, we would love to hear from you!

The post holder will manage and develop youth-led community projects in which young people develop their leadership and employability skills through becoming actively involved in their community and participating in self-directed community action. The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of several youth-led community projects, primarily the organisation of youth-led community events, but might also include elements of other youth-led activities, such as youth action team, health champions and ambassadors. 

For example, typically, this would involve working with groups of around 10 young people in each cohort and support them to deliver their community event project over a 12-week period.  Examples of events include youth-led football tournaments, street parties and our community Christmas dinner. This post will be part of the delivery team overseeing self-directed community action projects. SANE is a UK-wide mental health charity working to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by mental illness. It aims to raise awareness and understanding of all mental health conditions; fight to improve frontline mental health services for individuals and carers; provide support, information and guidance through SANEline, our Call Back service, email and text support; and promote and host research into causes, treatments and therapies through its Prince of Wales International Centre for SANE research.

- Lead, design, develop and deliver the Membership L&D Program, offering virtual, in-person, and blended learning interventions
- Establish a structured learning, coaching, and mentoring program to support County Training Officers (CTOs)
- Develop and manage a quality framework to collect relevant quantitative and qualitative management data to assess impact, identify areas for improvement, and capture lessons learned, supporting informed decision-making and continuous learning
- Manage and lead a team of L&D Specialists and an L&D Coordinator

This role requires regular travel, weekend and evening work, and overnight stays across the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) to deliver learning interventions to meet the needs of colleagues. The expectation is two to three times a month on average and there is also a requirement to attend our London, Haig House office regularly for team meetings and to build relationships with colleagues outside of delivering training.

About Sculpt UK

Sculpt is a UK-based charity with over 20 years’ experience, who support young people to shape their own future. Our vision is that we live in a society where young people can be fulfilled through their education, work and participation in wider society. The need for our work is clear given the increasing problems young people face and their lack of confidence and awareness regarding their journey into the world of work.

We run a range of bespoke programmes that work directly with young people in conjunction with partners - schools, careers hubs, employers, local government and further/higher education. Sculpt addresses interconnected areas that contribute towards our vision: Employability, Youth Voice and Leadership, and Community Action. We build the skills and experience of young people focusing on the transitions between school, education and work. In particular, we are skilled in tailoring our work to meet the needs of young people in alternative provision and those at risk of not being in employment, education and training.

What we do and how we do it is also informed by the Sculpt Youth Advisory Board, consisting of young people who meet monthly to advise the Sculpt Board on matters such as the needs of young people, product design and programme impact. In addition, we have a Sculpt Alumni community who contribute to the development of our work.

What are we looking for?

Sculpt UK is hiring a bookings coordinator and youth programme officer who would deliver our direct intervention work with young people aged 12-16 with a focus on skills building around employment through our holistic work experience programmes. Approximately 75% of our under 16s work involves working with young people who have SEND or who are at risk of becoming NEET (not in employment, education or training). Training on working specifically with SEND students will be offered to the successful applicant.

The role will also manage our bookings with schools and individuals across projects. This job is a 70/30 split between Youth Programme Officer and Bookings Coordinator.

Responsibilities :

Youth Programme Officer:

• Adhere to Sculpt UK’s safeguarding practices and procedures at all time 

• Deliver funded programmes focused on youth employability, leadership and youth voice in line with Sculpt UK’s delivery style and ethos

• Work with other Youth Programme Officers to successfully to deliver projects and support in data collection required for reporting

• Use their experience and knowledge of the issues affecting young people to tailor the workshops accordingly to age, need and interest

• Facilitate workshops on topics such as communication, gender stereotypes, social media, finance & skills, teamwork

We’re seeking a Programme Coordinator to support the development and delivery of a new collaborative, cross-sector programme in East and North Hertfordshire, aimed at growing and sustaining volunteers across health and community settings.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative initiative that builds on the surge of volunteering for health we saw during the pandemic. With experience in project coordination or public engagement in the health, social care and/or VCFSE (voluntary, community, faith, social enterprise sector), the Programme Coordinator will support the Volunteering for Health programme delivery and engage with underrepresented groups in the local community.

Community Alliance (CABEH) is a growing organisation with an ambition to support the voluntary sector achieve meaningful change. This role is a key part of the wider Herts and West Essex Volunteering for Health Programme Team.

Essential skills, experience and personal attributes:

• A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as public health, community development, community engagement, social prescribing, and/or the Herts and West Essex VCFSE sector.
• Proven experience in supporting and coordinating projects, preferably within the VCFSE, health or social care sectors.
• Experience in research, data collection and analysis to inform project monitoring and evaluation.
• Experience in engaging with diverse communities.
• Excellent project coordination skills, including planning, monitoring, and reporting on project progress.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to a range of audiences.

About SOS – Silence of Suicide

Founded in 2015 by Michael and Yvette Mansfield, SOS Silence of Suicide exists to break the silence around mental health and suicide. Initially a peer-support group, SOS is now a growing charity offering multi-channel support services via a national helpline, mobile hubs, and in-person outreach. With around 45 staff and volunteers, SOS is poised for further expansion and impact and is seeking a strategic and compassionate CEO to lead us through the next exciting phase of development.

The Role

The Chief Executive Officer will lead SOS’s strategic direction, operations, partnerships and fundraising. This includes shaping long-term sustainability, developing our team and enhancing our voice in national conversations centered around suicide prevention and mental health.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage the Senior Leadership Teams

· Deliver and grow SOS’s core services – helpline, hubs and outreach – ensuring high-quality, accessible support.

· Develop and implement a sustainable income generation strategy in collaboration with fundraising staff.

· Ensure sound financial management, working with bookkeepers, auditors and the Board to meet compliance needs.

· Support trustees with good governance and maintain full legal and regulatory compliance, including safeguarding.

· Represent SOS to external stakeholders including NHS, government, press and funders.

· Oversee impact reporting, evaluation and quality improvement across all service areas.

· Champion SOS’s mission, values and voice on suicide prevention, stigma reduction and mental health awareness.

About You

We are seeking a strategic leader who is hands-on, collaborative and emotionally intelligent. The ideal candidate will bring the following:

· Proven experience in charity leadership and team management, ideally in a growth phase.

· Strong understanding of mental health or suicide prevention – lived or professional experience welcomed.

· Track record in strategic planning, income generation and stakeholder engagement.

· Experience of developing services, managing volunteers, and fostering inclusive culture.

· Sound knowledge of charity governance, safeguarding, finance and HR best practice.

· Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

· Comfortable with hybrid working, frequent travel and engaging with emotionally complex topics.
