The Role
The Trusts and Grants Manager will play a vital role in the next chapter of MAP’s development. You will work closely with the Project Directors to identify and implement funding opportunities in line with strategic objectives and targets. The main duties will include:
- Generating income from trusts and foundations to meet set targets
- Preparing and submitting grant applications to trusts, foundations and corporate funders
- Maintaining and developing a funding pipeline
- Stewarding supporters and preparing timely delivery and outcome reports
- Collaborating with the management team, volunteers, partners and a skilled board of trustees to maximise fundraising initiatives.
The Person
We are looking for an experienced and creative Trusts and Grants Manager, with a proven track record in bid writing and donor cultivation. You should be able to demonstrate your experience in meeting income targets, and in securing gifts of five figures and above from trusts, foundations or the public sector.
You must have exceptional written and spoken communication skills, with the confidence to represent MAP at networking events across the region. As well as the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, an ability to use AI to support fundraising activity would also be advantageous.

The key responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:

London Museum is entering a new chapter of our evolution as we work towards the opening of our new museum at Smithfield in 2026. From Smart Building systems and immersive Audio Visual to Digital Platforms and core IT Services, hundreds of systems must come together into a coherent whole. As IT Systems Integration Manager you will play a pivotal coordinating role, helping ensure the many technologies that power the new museum are aligned, interoperable and delivered on schedule. We're seeking a candidate with substantial experience coordinating technology delivery across complex, multi-system environments in organisations such as public buildings, museums or cultural institutions. You'll bring strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies alongside a good understanding of digital platforms, smart building ecosystems, AV and data systems.
Exceptional stakeholder and vendor management skills are essential as is experience in risk management, scheduling, and documentation. You will ideally have relevant professional qualifications in IT, systems architecture and project management.

The Finance Manager will play a crucial role for the organisation, with responsibility for the charity’s finance function including day-to-day management and book-keeping as well as providing strategic support for the CEO. Persuasive Advocacy
Design and deliver a successful income generation plan and targets that enables the delivery of our ambitious strategic direction, with the CEO, Artistic Director and National and Regional Choir Producers.
Ensure our overall Case for Support remains compelling and up-to-date. In particular liaise with Producers on evaluation waves and with the Marcomms function to develop creative new storytelling approaches that will bring the impact we make to life.
Lead the application process for Trusts and Foundations and some statutory and corporate organisations, working closely with colleagues across the organisation to collate all necessary information, and compile final applications with detailed budgets and supporting material.
Provide timely receipts, invitations and reports to funding partners, in order to maintain productive and positive relationships with administration staff and Trustees.

The Director of Strategy is a key player in our leadership team, helping to shape the business and strategic direction of the NT. You will be the primary support for the Executive Director and Co-CEO and will also work closely with the Director and Co-CEO and wider Executive Committee to connect across the organisation to keep all areas aligned.
Your role will predominantly be working to define, plan and execute/monitor our strategic and business goals, involving competing stakeholders (internal/external), multiple divisions and senior figures. We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive fundraiser to develop and maintain strong relationships with donors and partners, while providing high-level administrative and communications support to the department. The post-holder will play a key role in contributing to securing funding for all aspects of the School’s work.
