Job description

You don't become any less important as you get older, and yet, all over the world, people are suffering as they age, because of poverty, lack of support and ageism.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications Officer to join Age International and take responsibility for researching, writing and supplying communications materials for the charity.

This is a varied, and interesting role requiring some international travel. If successful you will take responsibility for gathering content and producing multimedia content for digital channels, researching and writing internal communications, supporting with the production of Age International annual report and annual review, and working with fundraising colleagues to research, write and produce fundraising communications.

About you

* You will have great experience in a communications role, preferably from an international development or humanitarian sector.
* You will need to demonstrate excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
* You should have good multimedia production skills with the ability to produce innovative brand led digital content.
* You'll need to be a great multi tasker with the ability to prioritise tasks

What we offer in return
