Learning Support Assistant x2 (Term time only)

We are seeking two compassionate and patient Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work closely with students who require additional support to reach their full potential. Your primary responsibility will be to create a positive and inclusive learning environment while providing individualised assistance to students with varying needs.

About the role

The Legacy Case Assistant role is pivotal in supporting the award winning Legacy Case Management team to deliver our transformational legacy income of £15 million each year. Legacies are Christian Aid's largest single source of voluntary income and are one of our key fundraising priorities. Overview

Social infrastructure refers to the physical spaces, facilities, and services that enable communities to thrive. This includes community centres, youth clubs, religious institutions, housing, parks, sports facilities, and larger institutions such as schools and medical centres.

Over the past few decades, this infrastructure, particularly those led by Black and racially minoritised people, has come under increased strain. This is due to a range of socio-economic developments, including austerity, privatisation of public services, and an increasingly complex grant-making sector.

The Strategic Alliance for Community Wealth Building was originally established in 2021. With a focus on supporting enterprise and asset development, the Alliance was created to bring together policy leaders, community groups, and infrastructure organisations to improve outcomes for Black and minoritised people and their respective communities. However, since 2021, the political landscape has changed significantly, and with it the challenges experienced by Black and racially minoritised organisations. This includes a growing climate crisis, Artificial

Intelligence, and the ongoing housing shortage across the country. Therefore, a new forum is required to ensure Black and racially minoritised communities are not left behind.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Facilitation of workshops including design and presentation of relevant materials, communicating complex ideas relating to community wealth building and engagement with all participants.

• During SA events the postholder will focus on collaboration with relevant stakeholders across the sector, including community leaders, thinkers, policy professionals, and other stakeholders committed to an equitable future.

• Support with the development of the Strategic Alliance’s strategy, purpose, and long-term framework. Make sure than any ideas are captured and written into the work strands of the alliance, liaising closely with the Research and Policy Lead.

• Producing short briefs to inform discussion and debate within the Strategic Alliance for Community Wealth building meetings

• Delivery of reports informed by the content of the Strategic Alliance meetings.

• Organising meetings, workshops, events, and related research materials. This includes logistics, booking meeting spaces, sending invites and tracking responses, sending materials to participants, catering and refreshments. Some notetaking tasks may also be required.

About the Programme

The Schools Triathlon is a fun, mass participation sporting event for 7–13 year olds. Its mission? To get more young people moving, having fun, and discovering the power of fundraising. In 2025, over 10,000 young people took part in 12 events, raising an incredible £1.5 million for Restless Development and local charities. Since it began, the Schools Triathlon has raised over £5 million—making it our flagship fundraising event.

About the Role

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for anyone looking to kickstart their career in fundraising and events management. As our Assistant Fundraising Events Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in Restless Development’s close-knit fundraising team, helping to deliver our flagship events — the Schools Triathlon.

You’ll gain hands-on experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, including our volunteer Schools Triathlon Committee, schools, pupils, parents, and event delivery partners. A big part of your role will involve delivering fun and engaging school assemblies, encouraging pupils to take part and fundraise for Restless Development.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems and processes (30%) 

• Manage the assembly tracker to ensure it is kept up to date, with relevant members of the team notified when new assemblies are booked in
• Maintain accurate records across our registration platform (Eventrac), our CRM system (Salesforce) and Excel, including registrations, fundraising data, and supporter information.
• Monitor and track fundraising progress for over 11,000 participants, encouraging and supporting them to reach their goals.
• Manage JustGiving pages, ensuring all fundraising activity is accurately logged.
• Liaise with Finance to process donations (online, offline, and cheques), allocate income correctly, and thank supporters promptly.
• Support with the merchandise and fulfillment process

Fundraising and relationship management (30%)

• Be the first point of contact for schools, parents, and participants via the Schools Triathlon inbox.
• Book and coordinate school assemblies, and deliver assemblies or fundraising workshops.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, pupils, and parents, thanking and supporting them throughout their fundraising journey.
• Provide admin support to the Restless Development US Board, including coordinating quarterly meetings.
• Attend meetings with third party suppliers and schools when necessary
• Support on wider charity initiatives as and when needed

Event management and Communications (30%) 

• Support the planning and delivery of two Schools Triathlon events, including site visits, logistics, and on-the-day support.
• Coordinate event communications, including assembly slides, parent invites, and regular registration reports.
• Work collaboratively with the Schools Triathlon team to ensure smooth delivery of all events.

Others (10%) 

• Support the Senior Fundraising Manager with developing an individual giving process.
• Attend Schools Triathlon events (April–June) and occasional evening/weekend work for which Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) will be provided.
• Regular travel to schools is required, so access to a reliable vehicle is essential (travel costs will be reimbursed).
• Carry out any other duties as required to support the fundraising team.

The Finance & HR Manager will sit within the Development Team to support the smooth and efficient operation of the charity. This role will assist in managing financial processes and lead on recruitment, HR policies, and people operations — helping to maintain a transparent, inclusive, and positive working environment.

This position is ideal for someone seeking part-time work who holds either a finance assistant qualification or an accountancy qualification. Candidates with a finance assistant background will work closely with the finance department of our parent organisation, Oasis, to manage accounts and financial operations. · Support the Operations Officer to reconcile transactions, issue invoices, process payments, and file quarterly Gift Aid claims.

Our client is on a mission to tackle the high unemployment rate among adults with learning disabilities. Through their year-long traineeship programme, they equip participants with vital skills to become skilled baristas and expert café assistants, or to develop their capabilities as office managers and assistants. They are seeking an enthusiastic and engaged individual who has the passion and experience to drive their business forward.

As their very first Head of Fundraising and Partnerships, you will spearhead their strategy to generate the income necessary for maintaining their success and expanding their reach across London. They require an accomplished fundraiser with a proven background in implementing and delivering successful fundraising strategies, securing corporate sponsorships, and managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, grant holders, and trustees. You will be working closely alongside their CEO, who has been actively leading the fundraising efforts until now.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A strategic thinker with experience in creating and delivering successful fundraising strategies
• Excellent relationship-building skills and a proven track record in securing funding from trusts and foundations
• Strong organisational and project management abilities to navigate and coordinate fundraising activities across teams
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to engage diverse stakeholders effectively
• A proactive, results-driven mindset capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience in fundraising, partnership management, or business development
• A genuine passion for supporting individuals within the disability community

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic fundraising outreach plan to build a sustainable pipeline of potential donors and partners
• Identify, cultivate, and secure significant funding from trusts, foundations, and major donors
• Design and deliver a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with the organisation's programme ambitions
• Build on established relationships with HNWIs and corporate partners while expanding engagement opportunities
• Manage the marketing team to ensure successful execution of campaigns aligned with fundraising goals

We're looking for an inspirational people person to join us as a Assistant Shop Manager in our brand-new London Boutique Shelter Shop in Kensington High Street opening October 2025. This is an exciting opportunity, and we'd like you to join us to help raise vital funds for homeless and badly housed people.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Shelter opening their newest shop. You will work closely with the Shop Manager to ensure the shop looks welcoming, visually appealing and the team of volunteers are motivated and keen to engage with customers and maximise sales.

About the role

You will assist the Shop Manager in the recruitment, support and development of a strong community focused shop team and empower them to maximise Shelter's income. Representing Shelter in your local community, ensuring that you and your team share your knowledge of Shelter's cause with customers, volunteers, donors and potential Shelter clients will also be important aspects of the role. You will always ensure a safe, clean, bright and happy environment for your team to work in and for your customers to shop in, in turn attracting potential donors and volunteers.

About you

You are a naturally energetic person with an enthusiasm for managing and empowering people. You know how to recruit and develop a team of volunteers, and your extraordinary motivational skills will enable you to inspire your team to increase sales and control costs. Above all, you are ready to take on a new challenge and have a keen interest in Shelter's cause.
