Service Description:

West London Mind deliver services across 5 West London Boroughs, and our children and young people’s team deliver services in communities and in schools. Focusing on increasing access and having inclusive services, our diversity of provision, staff and approaches means we can offer an assistant psychologist a range of experience, and fun.

This role sits within our schools-based offer in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham  which supports young people via our Mental Health Support Teams in both primary and secondary schools, as well as working with parents and school staff.

We also offer Be Kind to Your Mind (BK2YM) which provides a psychoeducation programme (Learn Well) which offers a multi-tiered level of support for children with additional SEND needs.

Job Description. You will be:

1. Dealing with our referrals from schools:

· Liasing with referrers, families and young people to ensure that clients and other organisations are kept up to date with what stage their referral is at (e.g. on a waitlist).

· Overseeing inboxes to ensure quick and appropriate responses.

2. Delivering interventions:

· Delivery of Be Kind to Your Mind SEND/Inclusion interventions across schools, colleges and alternative education, and co-delivering our out of school offer.

· Ad-hoc creation of bespoke content to complement existing materials.

3. Supporting promotion of Children and Young People’s Services:

· Coordination of outreach on universal days/mental health specific days in line with West London Mind’s CYP Youth Services Calendar (across schools in Hammersmith and Fulham and within the local community).

· Co-facilitation of psychoeducational sessions.

· Working closely with the Whole Schools Approach Lead and Co-Production Coordinator to ensure that our offer is relevant and Young Person Centred.

· Attend events to promote our Core CYP Youth Service’s offer (such as the Circle, MHST, BK2YM, Mind in Music and community programmes) to Children & Young People, families and professionals

4. Data, Evaluation and Impact Reporting:

· Assisting in the composition of internal, quarterly and other reporting.

· Support data analysis for routine, service evaluation, research and improvement.

· Completing pre and post-evaluations of intervention delivered to ensure that delivery is effective, reviewed and meeting objectives.

5. Partnership Working and Communication:

· Communicate information effectively with CYPs, relatives and carers where there may be barriers to understanding.

· Work closely with West London Mind staff leading on communications.

6. General:

· Maintain awareness of, and actively follow, our policies -especially related to safeguarding, GDPR and confidentiality.

· Attend all trainings set out by West London Mind.

· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements regarding the welfare of Children and Young People as well as vulnerable adults.

Person Specification

We need you to have:

· An undergraduate Psychology degree (or equivalent) that confers British Psychological Society’s Graduate Basis for Chartered membership (GBC).

We’re looking for someone with:

· Knowledge and understanding of the key socioeconomic and systemic factors that contribute to poor mental health of children, young people and parents/carers from Black, Asian and other Minority groups.

· Understanding the importance of safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality.

· Experience of conducting literature reviews, data collection and data analysis.

· Knowledge of mental health and/or social care services

· Experience of working with, and adapting delivery to, children and young people as well as young adults with SEND/Inclusion needs.

You will have:

· Excellent written skills and the ability to distil complex issues in clear language with a wide range of audiences with varying needs.

· Ability to work both productively as part of a team as well autonomously where appropriate.

· A compassionate and inclusive approach to working with children, young people, their families and your colleagues

· An understanding of the specific mental health needs of children and young people who have additional needs (e.g. Neurodiversity/learning disabilities)

· Data literacy and attention to detail – especially in relation to compiling reports.

· Ability to accurately keep notes and record data.

· Ability to prioritise and work on several tasks in parallel.

· Good time management and organisational skills.

· Strong interpersonal skills.

· The ability to be creative and adaptive during intervention delivery.

The Department

The Hurlingham Club Foundation was established in 2021 and its mission is to harness the collective strength of the Club to create spaces and opportunities that improve the health, well-being and social connection of people living in underserved areas of our borough.

We aim to achieve this impact this in three main ways through:

· Direct programmes hosted at the Club (including sports, social and wellbeing activities).

· Funding for local charities delivering aligned community initiatives.

To deliver all this activity, money is largely raised through member donations at Foundation events and money is also raised through grants and corporate sponsorship.

The Role

As the Foundation Assistant, you will be a vital part of this small, friendly team to ensure that we manage all our events and programmes to raise the most amount of money and deliver maximum impact for people in need in our community.

You will work part time; ideally 20 hours over four days from Monday to Thursday.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Hurlingham Club Foundation in a variety of ways.

Typical duties will include:

Event Coordination

· Supporting the planning and delivery of Foundation events.

· Managing logistics including room bookings, catering, AV, guestlists, security passes and event materials.

· Ensuring events run smoothly from setup through to delivery.

Administration & Finance

· Maintaining accurate records and financial administration.

· Supporting the processing of purchase orders, income and invoices.

Data & CRM Management

· Maintain donor, volunteer and programme databases.

· Support monitoring and reporting of Foundation activity and impact.

Communications & Marketing Support

· Assisting with website updated and digital content.

· Supporting with and creating presentations and marketing materials.

· Helping to manage and catalogue Foundation photography assets.

Programme Support

· Assisting with delivery of onsite community programmes.

General Support

· Managing Foundation inbox enquiries.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated early‑career marketing professional with a strong interest in culture and heritage.

As we continue to diversify and grow our commercial revenue streams, we are seeking a proactive Commercial Marketing Assistant to support the promotion of key income‑generating initiatives. These include Champing (unique overnight stays in historic churches), filming, venue hire, and an expanding portfolio of leased or licensed properties. The role also offers scope to contribute to new commercial opportunities in the future.

Working within the Initiatives and Partnerships Team and alongside the Communications Team, the role supports marketing activity across a broad range of commercial initiatives, including Champing, filming, venue hire and regional commercial activities.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager you will be responsible for:

• Acting as the first point of contact for apprenticeship queries, training providers and internal stakeholders

• Providing support to manage the Harris Federation apprenticeship levy, tracking costs, progress and compliance with funding requirements

• Supporting internal and external marketing for apprenticeship activities as part of wider employer branding and promoting engagement events to increase awareness and understanding of apprenticeships

• Maintaining and advising on safeguarding compliance, including neuro-inclusion, in alignment with the Ofsted framework, especially for under-18 apprentices

Our client is an international dispute resolution centre with over 35 years' experience helping organisations resolve conflicts and build resilience. They're seeking a Finance Assistant to join their London-based finance team and support the accurate recording and processing of financial transactions. They are part-charity, part-company.

Position Overview

 You'll process sales and purchase invoices, manage bank and cash posting, and complete customer and supplier reconciliations. Your work will ensure all financial activity is recognised correctly in line with charity accounting standards and supports the organisation's monthly close and annual statutory accounts preparation.

The position is offered on a 6-month fixed term contract basis. The post is full-time – with hybrid working available. The expectation is that you will be office based for 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities 

· Process and code all sales and purchase invoices accurately

· Prepare and post financial transactions in the finance system

· Complete bank and cash reconciliations, investigating discrepancies

· Support monthly payment runs with fully documented schedules

· Carry out customer and supplier account reconciliations

· Assist with asset register maintenance and verification

· Assist with monthly management accounts for assigned departments

· Support annual statutory accounts preparation with accurate schedules

· Respond promptly to audit queries and enquiries

· Contribute ideas for process improvements and financial controls

Requirements

· Actively studying towards AAT, CIMA or ACCA qualification

· Recognised accounting or finance degree (or equivalent qualification)

· Strong Excel skills including formulas, data manipulation and analysis

· Hands-on experience with sales ledger and purchase ledger processes

· Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting procedures

· Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines

· Professional, friendly and collaborative approach to working with others

· Experience using iplicit (desirable)

The Organisation

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. We are now seeking a Volunteer Assistant to join our volunteer team on a full-time basis, working 36 hours per week, including minimum of 1 weekend per month.

The Role

As a Volunteer Assistant, your main focus will be to support the Volunteer Officer in delivering a wide range of practical conservation tasks across Richmond Park.  Overseeing volunteers to carry out important habitat management tasks at regular conservation group sessions. You will also support on delivering our corporate ‘Park days’ sessions. This role is varied and will see the successful applicant working primarily in the Richmond Park, but with work across all of the parks when support is required. 
 
This role involves a lot of in park time, working with and supporting volunteers on the ground in physical conservation work. On average the Volunteer support officer will spend 3-4 days each week in the parks delivering sessions.  The ideal applicant will be friendly, open, enjoy spending time outdoors and have experience working with and managing volunteers, in a hands-on conservation or park setting. 

You will champion volunteering best practice, inclusivity and diversity across the organisation, support with the development of volunteer resources and ensure the appropriate support and training is in place for volunteers, partners and the staff who manage volunteers. 

Additionally, you will: 

• Support in the writing of volunteer opportunity descriptions, work plans, and robust risk assessments, ensuring all volunteers go about their duties safely and to a high standard.
• Work towards independently leading volunteer groups on practical tasks, ensuring safe working outdoors and with hand tools on a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
• Be aware of and always follow guidelines safeguarding of children and adults at risk.
• Be willing to gain knowledge of safe use and maintenance of all tools, including hand tools, other equipment and PPE.  

About You 

To join us as a Volunteer Assistant, you will need:

• Experience supervising or supporting volunteers in an outdoor setting, ideally in a park, or conservation setting.  
• Strong experience or interest in practical conservation, habitat, or park/horticulture management.
• Awareness of equality and diversity, health and safety and safeguarding 
• Excellent people skills including team working, negotiating, problem solving and the ability to be calm and decisive in challenging situations
• Commitment to The Royal Parks’ values of being responsible, excellent, inclusive, open and respectful, and a commitment to supporting diverse and inclusive teams 
• A flexible approach to work including significant evening and weekend working
• A valid and current clean UK driving licence is essential
• Excellent operational use of Microsoft Office, CRM systems and other IT solutions to support the planning, delivery and evaluation of the volunteer programme would also be advantageous

A First Aid Certificate would also be desirable.

We are recruiting for an Assistant Shop Manager to join a busy and creative team in Elephant and Castle. You will join an exciting team and collaborate to build a group of volunteers from all walks of life, raising money to fund Crisis’ work ending homelessness. You will be keen to build your people management skills including working with Crisis members. We are particularly interested in meeting candidates with an interest or background in visual merchandising, although this is not essential. You will be committed to Crisis’s values and mission to end homelessness.

Working as part of the Operations Team you will provide administration assistance to ensure the effective functioning of the Service and also assist with data entry responsibilities. You will also be expected to undertake reception duties when required, helping to welcome clients into our offices.

This role will support the work of the World Obesity Federation in its role leading dissemination activities under a specific research consortium project; alongside support for intersecting areas of work across the WOF portfolio. Key activities will include: Developing content for website and social media from scientific outputs; using a media monitoring tool to gather relevant data and insights to support dissemination; and co-ordinating planning for webinar and event hosting and project participation at wider events. The role will liaise with cross-team colleagues to identify relevant dissemination opportunities, and support article formatting and submissions, alongside regularly engaging with project teams and wider stakeholders as relevant, and developing project reports. Additionally the role will support engagement of people with lived experience as part of project and wider activities. 

Archdeacons are called to share in the mission of the church, exercising their ministry in close collaboration with the Bishop. They play a significant role in the recruitment, oversight, support, discipline, and pastoral care of the clergy. They also play a key role in strategic planning, managing conflict, encouraging stewardship and responding to safeguarding issues, alongside exercising their legal responsibilities.

The Archdeacons’ PA will need to have a high level of hospitality, a friendly and engaging telephone manner, and excellent people skills. The PA manages many interactions with clergy and parishes and is often the first port of call with the wider Diocese.

With a close eye for detail they provide administrative support to the archdeacons, managing their diaries, project managing events, ensuring processes work effectively, writing or acting on their behalf, and providing the information and support they need to carry out their work effectively and in a timely manner. 

They need to take the initiative and be proactive in finding creative solutions to a range of issues. An ability to prioritise will be essential.

The ability to take initiative and be proactive is a key skill for an archdeacons' PA, as is flexibility, as the workflow is not always consistent, and the two archdeacons at different times have different demands. The PA is part of the Kingston Area Team, consisting of the Bishop of Kingston, his Chaplain, the two Archdeacons, and the two PAs and so must be an exceptional team player.

 While experience of church life - particularly in the Church of England - would be an advantage, the ability to learn and be empathetic are the key strengths the PA needs.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day finance operations, ensuring income is accurately recorded and reconciled across multiple systems. Working closely with both finance and fundraising teams, you’ll help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
