About the role:
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and personable experienced fundraiser to become a valued part of our close-knit team.
Reporting to the Community, Corporate and Events Lead, this role supports our ambition to generate income through community fundraising, corporate partnerships, and a wide range of events. You will proactively manage projects and build strong relationships with individuals, businesses and community groups, while also line-managing two enthusiastic team members.
Alongside maximising opportunities with our existing supporters, you will play a key role in developing and nurturing new ideas, partnerships and activities. Your work will help to grow this vital income stream and ensure we continue to connect meaningfully with the communities and organisations that champion Princess Alice Hospice.
This is primarily an office‑based role due to the team‑management and supervisory responsibilities. We expect most work to be carried out on-site to support new team members and ensure effective collaboration. However, once established in the role, there may be scope to work from home up to two days per week, depending on performance, team needs, and operational requirements.
About you:
For you the supporter is key, whether they’re a running in a marathon, holding a tea party, or a corporate partnership taking part in an international sponsored bike ride.
You’ll be enthusiastic, highly organised, and able to multitask effectively. With strong verbal and written communication skills, you’ll also have some experience in charity fundraising, particularly community fundraising—whether voluntary or paid. Strong in administrative tasks, you’ll be confident in managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail. Above all, you’ll be passionate about community fundraising and building meaningful connections to support a great cause.

We are seeking a Passenger Services Administrator to work in our busy office, taking bookings, processing financial and membership data, organising schedules and promoting our services across Wandsworth.

Job Description
Key areas of responsibility:
1. Be the front of house first contact for telephone, in person and email enquiries.
2. Take minibus and passenger bookings for outings and shopping, using our bespoke CTX software.
3. Maintain operational records and statistics relating to all vehicle hirings and ensure that all mileage is accounted for.
4. Update financial records and prepare invoices using Sage Accounts, process petty cash and take money to the bank.
5. Organise the schedules for drivers and volunteers.
6. Produce newsletters and publicity materials.
7. Participate in fundraising and publicity events. This may include evening and weekend work for which time off in lieu would be granted.
8. Attend and take part in staff meetings and evening Management Committee meetings, giving reports if required.
9. Any other duties commensurate with the grading of the post as directed by the Deputy Director, CEO or Management Committee.

Finance Director

The role
The Finance Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring Action Together remains financially robust, sustainable, and compliant as a charity and employer. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will partner closely with the CEO and Board to shape a resilient business model, strengthen financial governance, and provide strategic direction that supports our mission and values.
You will lead and develop a high performing finance function, oversee annual budgeting and long‑term financial planning, and ensure high‑quality financial insight is available to the CEO, SLT and Board. The Finance Director has responsibility for the production of monthly accounts package, annual audit and statutory accounts, risk management, payroll assurance, investment strategy, and organisational compliance with Companies House, the Charity Commission, and all financial governance requirements.
You will play an integral role in supporting strong governance, working closely with the Treasurer and Board to provide clear, timely, and insightful financial performance updates, forecasts, and risk assessments.
You will also work with the Treasurer to shape investment strategy, strengthen financial controls, and uphold governance across all statutory, regulatory, and organisational requirements

Networks for Nature spans c60 square miles from the River Dee to the River Mersey, including Chester and Ellesmere Port. As a Wildlife and Wellbeing Officer, you’ll work closely with the Wildlife and Wellbeing Assistant Manager and Networks for Nature project staff to engage and empower communities to make a real impact on conservation efforts and to improve access to nature. You will support with maintaining and establishing community relationships, supporting the development and delivery of a programme of wildlife and wellbeing activities and supporting in building the capacity of community groups, community leaders and other stakeholders within the Networks for Nature project area. You will deliver a broad range of activities, including Family Wildlife Clubs, Wildlife and Wellbeing Clubs, Community Action Days, activities linked to Green Social Prescribing (GSP), GSP workshops for healthcare professionals and activity stands within community settings. You will also actively promote and develop community network links.
Due to the working rota of 10 days in 14 and working every other weekend, there will be some cross-over between the activities delivered within this role and the Community Volunteer Officer role.
We’re looking for someone who can:
• Activity Planning & Delivery: Help plan and run a broad programme of wildlife and wellbeing activities to community groups, including Family Wildlife Clubs, Wildlife and Wellbeing Clubs, Conservation Action Days, activities linked to Green Social Prescribing (GSP), GSP workshops for healthcare professionals and activity stands at community events. Effectively adapting each activity to meet the needs of each group.
• Community Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with community groups to support their continued participation in the project and commitment to creating habitats for UK Wildlife. Including administrative support, dealing with queries via email and telephone and attending meetings, consultations and networking events.
• Content Creation: Research and contribute to the development of resources and new engagement activities designed to support participation in the Networks for Nature project.
• Measuring Impact: Work closely with the Wildlife and Wellbeing Assistant Manager to support in the delivery of an evaluation programme for the Networks for Nature project, including collection and collation of data from project participants, initial analysis of results and presenting findings to key stakeholders.
• Safety & Risk Assessments: With support from the Wildlife and Wellbeing Assistant Manager, ensure that all activities are safe and appropriately risk assessed.
• Developing Expertise: Proactively develop own expertise as a conservation educator, focused on community engagement, UK wildlife and nature and wellbeing.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated professional interested in working in a thriving and successful Development team. We are seeking an individual who has the skills and determination to help support the University’s trust and foundation fundraising and enjoys working as part of a happy and vibrant in-house/remote team.
Working to support the Senior Development Manager, Trusts and Foundations; the Development Officer, Trusts and Foundations, will help to deliver the trust and foundation fundraising strategy. The post-holder will work alongside Development colleagues to identify funding opportunities both in the UK and internationally. The post-holder will have responsibility for securing significant new funds to support the strategic priorities of our £300 million fundraising campaign which covers a wide range of areas. This work will focus particularly on proposals for four and five figure gifts.
The post-holder will assist the Senior Development Manager, Trusts and Foundations, in cultivating currently engaged and new trusts, foundations and charities. They will work with the Senior Development Assistant (Research) to grow the pipeline of giving through research into suitable trusts and foundations whose aims are closely aligned with the strategic priorities of the University.
The post-holder will have experience of trust and foundation fundraising accompanied by a sound knowledge of university fundraising. They will be a creative and strategic thinker and possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work proactively, both internally and externally. This role will require knowledge of trust and foundation funders, excellent written communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Above all, the post-holder must be passionate about the role that philanthropy plays in supporting higher education for the benefit of society as a whole.

The role
The Operations Director will lead the development, optimisation, and continuous improvement of Action Together’s systems, processes, and organisational infrastructure. Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will co-design, develop, and maintain internal systems and processes that enhance operational delivery and organisational efficiency, ensuring they are fully embedded into day-to-day use with clear ownership, guidance, and effective performance monitoring.
You will oversee core central functions including HR, Communications and Impact, Data Protection and Information Management, and Health & Safety. You will play a key role in internal digital transformation, policy development, risk management, and organisational compliance. You will produce high‑quality management information that supports strategic decision‑making, work closely with Locality Directors to standardise and enhance delivery models.
