You will provide high quality support to the Head of Audit, Risk & Governance in the implementation and oversight of effective risk management and assurance policies and procedures for the whole organisation.

Role Requirements
- Your main objectives is to support the board and senior leadership team in ensuring the charity continues to deliver high-quality, safe, effective and financially sustainable services for vulnerable children now and in the longer-term;
- Under the guidance of the Head of Risk, Audit & Governance, and in collaboration with key stakeholders across the organisation, coordinate and manage the implementation and ongoing development of the charity’s risk management framework; risk policies, risk appetite statement; “risk universe” and board assurance framework / assurance map;
- Undertake deep dive risk assessments and provide assurance over the effectiveness of internal controls from time to time as required by Audit & Risk Committee;
- Undertake a quarterly review of key financial controls and report findings to the Finance, Finance, Investments & Resources Committee and Audit & Risk Committee;
- Monitor and report on the implementation of agreed management actions designed to strengthen risk mitigation strategies / close compliance gaps and provide assurance on these to SLT and trustees.
- Prepare the risk update for SLT, the board and each of its committees including risk heat maps and key risk indicators for the charity’s principal risks.
- Establish effective working relationships with other second line risk, quality and compliance functions and periodically monitor the effectiveness of their activities.
- Liaise with SLT directors to ensure departmental risk registers are in place and appropriately maintained.
- Facilitate risk workshops and provide online training on TCT’s risk management policy and procedures. Meet regularly with risk owners to review risk responses and progress with actions. Ensure there is an effective process of escalation of significant risks to SLT and trustees;
- Prepare an annual review of the effectiveness of internal control and risk management for the Audit & Risk Committee;

The Role

About You
You have secretarial experience gained in a legal practice and audio/copy typing skills with a minimum of 70 wpm, along with advanced knowledge of IT tools including case management systems and MS Office systems. You have great written and verbal communication skills and enjoy working as part of a busy team.

Join the award-winning Moving Medicine team, led by the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK. We're seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead two impactful patient-centred physical activity projects.
About the role:
Moving Medicine is an award-winning initiative of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK (FSEM) aimed at improving health through physical activity. It provides healthcare professionals with practical tools and evidence-based resources to promote physical activity in clinical practice. Moving Medicine is our free, award-winning initiative, designed to provide clinicians and allied health professionals with accessible, evidence based, condition specific information to help give advice on physical activity at all stages of a patient’s treatment pathway.
We are expanding our impact through the development of additional Moving Medicine resources for patients. This role will include project managing two large, interlinked projects, with time split across both:
One project is in conjunction with Nuffield Health, the project funders, will initially focus on publishing the newly built Moving Medicine Everyone website (due for publication in November 2025) and accompanying educational resources. The Project Manager will work closely with Moving Medicine clinicians, healthcare partners, stakeholders, and academic collaborators. A key aspect of this role will be to coordinate stakeholder engagement, facilitate collaborative input from academic and clinical experts, and support the demonstration of social impact through evaluation and dissemination activities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in aligning the project with strategic goals, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining strong relationships.
The other project, Moving Together, is a national collaborative initiative led by the FSEM in partnership with Active Partnerships National Office and funded by Sport England (National Lottery). The project is building a broad cross-sector network and aims to empower people with long-term health conditions to access physical activity by removing barriers, developing evidence-based frameworks, training resources, and governance structures that enable consistent, safe, and effective physical activity conversations across sectors and systems. Working closely with clinicians, patients, policymakers, and professional bodies, Moving Together connects national standards with local implementation, supporting workforce development, data-driven evaluation, and sustainable behaviour change to improve population health and reduce inequalities.
The Project Manager will split their time across both projects, which are closely connected in their goals and approach, and will play a key role in ensuring alignment and synergy between them. This includes supporting shared stakeholders, integrating learning and resources, and contributing to a unified strategy for improving physical activity access and outcomes for patients.

Glitch is going through an exciting period of transformation! We are developing our AI governance and algorithmic discrimination work, and further formalising our Black feminist underpinning. This role will be integral in ensuring that our mission, theory of change, and advocacy work sync up and fulfil their objectives and aims.
You’ll take a leading role in shaping and implementing our strategy to fulfil our mission. You will be responsible for setting the advocacy strategy alongside our Executive Director, which encompasses policy, research and campaigns elements of our overall advocacy strategy and work plan.
Our mission is to ensure that internet technologies in the information ecosystem do not replicate or further discrimination to Black women and other marginalised people. We’re a Black-led, transnationally-focused remote charity, with the majority of our staff in the UK. Our Executive Director (“ED”) travels frequently to Europe and elsewhere for business. This role will be expected to deputise for the ED at external events.
Our advocacy encompasses research, policy influencing and campaigning on tech-facilitated gender-based violence, algorithmic discrimination, platform governance and other technology-related harms impacting race and gender injustice. We advocate on behalf of those excluded and ignored.
Role Overview
This position reports to Glitch’s Executive Director. Glitch is a distributed charity, and this is a remote position. You’ll work in a collaborative environment with a team and different stakeholders (civil society, parliamentarians, grassroots organisations, and our focal population) to achieve our mission.
We are seeking a highly effective strategic leader and experienced team manager. To be successful at Glitch, the Advocacy Director must demonstrate an understanding of, and passion for Black feminist thought, and the ability to translate this critical social theory into organisational work, specifically towards systemic change with/in: tech policy, digital rights, AI governance and legislation, and tech-facilitated gender-based violence as it relates to broader social media platform governance. The Advocacy Director will also support fundraising and programme strategy (when necessary and appropriate).

Main Responsibilities
As Advocacy Director, you will play an important role in working towards our mission in several core areas:
Advocacy - Policy (75%)

Identify new opportunities and respond to external developments, in the UK and transnationally where appropriate, on the issues of AI governance and platform governance, non-criminal redress for tech harms, and alt-right, fascism, and platform power.

Ensure the delivery of the Mitigation strand of advocacy work.

Oversee the updating of Glitch’s policy positions and recommendations and put forward proposals around new and emerging policy positions.

Manage associated advocacy budgets and feed into reporting requirements for all Mitigation strand work.

Lead on all external policy requests (regulatory consultations, statements, joint letters).

Develop and implement creative and influential campaigns to help us meet our strategic objectives and mission.

Work with the Programmes Director to ensure alignment with the Organising strand of advocacy work, identifying Mitigation opportunities to fulfil the theory of change.

Maintain thorough knowledge of all aspects of our work and keep informed of external affairs - domestically and transnationally.

Support in the development and commissioning of new research and campaigns in specific issue areas identified in our strategy, especially in the Imagining strands of our work.

Maintain good knowledge of practices across the sector and relevant work happening in other organisations around our core issue areas.
Influencing and Stakeholder Management (10%)

Develop clear plans for influencing and change, working closely with the ED to agree allocation of responsibilities and areas to maximise impact.

Build strong relationships with external stakeholders.

Operate as the deputy to the ED for representing Glitch at meetings where a senior Glitch representative is required, especially for government and ecosystem events or meetings in the UK and Europe.

Develop briefings and agendas ahead of and for Glitch meetings with Ministers and officials, Parliamentarians and other key stakeholders.

Maintain our records of interactions with key individuals and organisations in our CRM system, in line with good practice around data protection and GDPR.

Represent Glitch through writing blogs and commentary on all of our core issue areas.
Strategy and development (10%)

Contribute to the development, delivery and evaluation of our organisational strategy.

Lead on the implementation of the Mitigation and Imagining strand of our advocacy framework, supporting the ED with strategy development.

Ensure that resources are deployed effectively to progress and achieve our aims for change, particularly within our Mitigation and Organising strands of work, in collaboration with the Programmes Director.

Carry out measurement, evaluation and learning of our Mitigation and Imagining strands of our advocacy work plan.

Develop reactive advocacy strategies in response to changing policy, legislative or government shifts.
Leadership and people management (5%)

Lead and role-model a high-performance, inclusive culture that is grounded in our organisational values.

Ensure resources are applied effectively and appropriately within the advocacy function.

Ensure that delivery of advocacy work is aligned with agreed objectives and key performance indicators, through the effective management of staff and other resources.

Work with the Finance Director to ensure accurate allocations of advocacy personnel time.

Line manage and coach direct reports effectively, empowering them to thrive and fulfil their potential. Such work would include: developing learning and development plans for advocacy team members in collaboration with direct reports, and running annual performance reviews.

We’re looking for someone to plan and organise our activities programme which offers Unpaid Carers in Lewisham the opportunity to have a break from their caring responsibilities in a social environment where they can meet other carers and focus on their wellbeing.
You’ll work closely with the service manager to plan and arrange a wide programme of activities for young and adult Unpaid Carers. You will actively promote activities to Unpaid Carers, manage bookings and respond to queries. The role is based in our Carers Hub, so you will interact with Unpaid Carers visiting the team or enquiring about the service. You will also prepare regular newsletters for the service and provide additional admin support to the team as needed.
Applicants should have experience in an admin or activities planning role and excellent customer service skills. You will require exceptional communication, organisational and written skills, and should be proactive and resourceful. You must be proficient in using Word and Excel, and experience of using databases would be an advantage.
The part-time hours (22.5) can be worked as 3 full days or shorter days across the week. Some flexibility is required for occasional evenings or Saturday working.

The Role

About this key role
