The role
As Marketing Executive, you’ll have a broad and varied role, working with our Marketing and Digital Manager to deliver Marketing and Communications projects at a critical time for the Football Foundation and for grassroots sports. Working within the Brand, Marketing and Communications Team, you’ll provide proactive support across all Marketing and Communications activity.
You’ll work with the team to plan and deliver impactful campaigns, including the creation of campaign launch presentations and coordinating campaign evaluations. You’ll build key relationships and will support the cascade of information to internal and external stakeholders. You’ll help deliver opening and milestone events and shoots for Foundation funded sites. Due to the breadth of the role and the variety of the projects, you can expect it to be an exciting role, with no two days the same.

What are we looking for?

You could be someone who’s managed a community organisation before or has experience of managing projects in a community setting and now wants to take on a leadership role. The successful candidate will have proven community development and engagement skills as well as be able to work strategically to lead and support the development of the charity; you will be equally comfortable supporting a group of residents with ideas for a new activity, hosting a meeting of the Roehampton Network and liaising with local authority or health partners on strategic matters. Chief Executive Officer, Remote, 35 hrs Salary £90,097
GFS is a feminist organisation with a mission to empower girls and young women in England and Wales to live their best lives. Girls as young as 6 tell us that they cannot be themselves. This causes problems for them and society. So, we offer an early intervention service for girls living in areas of deprivation to have the greatest impact.
This is an exciting role with an opportunity to lead the charity into the 150th Year of delivery and with a new strategy to address need. It will involve working with the leadership team and all departments but also the board and their support committees, the ambassadors, and presidents as well as the wonderful team of volunteers across England and Wales.

This exciting Policy & Public Affairs Officer role will lead on developing and influencing specific policy priorities identified by the Foundation as areas where change is most needed to improve the population’s mental health. Initially, the policy area of focus for this role will be the mental health of asylum seekers and refugees.
What does the role involve?
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policy and legislative developments affecting public mental health and particular priority policy topics for the Foundation.
- Carry out background research, developing influencing plans, responding to government consultations and providing briefings for politicians and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure the Foundation’s stakeholders, including people with lived experience of mental ill health, are involved in development of policy work and strategy.
