Age International is recruiting for a Senior Policy Adviser with a proven background in achieving impact, for a 12-month maternity cover contract, working 28 hours per week. Salary advertised is FTE - 35 hours.

Key purpose of the role
1. To lead the areas of Gender and Climate for Age International's policy and influencing work, in support of the organisation's strategic influencing objectives - including influencing relevant external stakeholders.
2. To line manage the Policy Adviser (Health and Humanitarian) and support other Influencing colleagues.
3. To facilitate collaborative working relationships for increased impact.
4. To ensure high quality policy analysis and communications.
Please note that due to the Hybrid nature of this role, the successful applicant will be required to commute to the central London co-working hub on a regular basis. We anticipate this being twice a week. Your travel costs to the London office are not covered by the charity.

The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. We aim to reduce the negative impact food waste has on the environment by working with the food industry to rescue high quality surplus produce, that would otherwise have gone to waste. This food is sorted at one of our four depots or turned into meals in Felix’s Kitchen. It is then distributed to over 1,200 community organisations, such as food banks, homeless shelters and primary schools, all of whom are working within communities across London to feed people experiencing hunger.
Purpose of the Job
Volunteers play a central role in every aspect of The Felix Project’s work, and we work hard to build a happy and positive environment for all our volunteers. We’re very lucky to have many organisations who want to volunteer with us.
The Farm Volunteer Coordinator position facilities group volunteering, be that from one of Felix’s corporate partners or another organisation seeking a great team experience. This role is focused primarily on the farms in Kent and Sussex that we rescue food from in the run up to and during harvest season.
Out of farming season, you will mainly be working from home. This will mainly involve project work and assisting in the day to day running and improvement of the group volunteering process at Felix. You will also be needed in the London depots/events around once a week to support staff and volunteers there.
You will be accountable for the management of the group volunteer bookings and briefings at the farm and other environments, cultivating strategic volunteer relationships and exploring new opportunities for partners to support Felix through volunteering.

About the Role
The Head of Finance is the financial lead for the Charity with responsibility for driving and implementing good charity financial practice, producing robust financial reports and financial forecasts in line with the Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP), as well as providing timely provision of financial information and advice to the Chief Executive and Board to inform strategic decision making.
We are looking for an Interim Head of Finance for an initial fixed period of 6 months, pending the appointment of a new CEO. The successful candidate will be qualified and experienced in charity finance, demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills and will also have a need at times to be hands on in supporting the routine financial transactions of the organisation.
Alongside the leadership and advisory functions of the role, the Head of Finance is also responsible for the management of the wider Finance team, working closely as a finance business partner with colleagues on the SLT and Farm School Managers, specifically:
- oversee the finance related work at each of our farms through the Farm School Managers and Farm Office Managers; effectively communicating financial information to non-financial audiences at all levels of the charity;
- the continuous improvement of the financial provision, demonstrating best practice and leading on efficiencies in financial management.

Animals Asia has spent over 25 years working to end cruelty and restore respect for animals across Asia. The Trusts and Foundations function has grown substantially since being unified globally in 2020. ARC is a data-rich organisation, having made significant progress in our data analytics activities in recent years. About our office
Our Belfast office is based in a listed building in a busy area close to lots of useful local amenities.
