Job description

30 hours per week

£25,641 FTE (£21,978 PRO RATA)

CONTRACT: Until 31st March 2021

We are seeking an experienced Co-ordinator to support our volunteer befrienders and to carry out comprehensive and accurate record-keeping and assist with monitoring and evaluation of the service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Recruiting, training and supporting a team of volunteers, ensuring that the delivery of services meets the required standards and targets;

  • Liaising and working with a wide range of other health and social care professionals and agencies to promote awareness of the service;

  • Monitoring the ongoing support being provided, the welfare of both volunteers and service-users and evaluating the service against agreed outcomes.
