Coventry Youth Activists (CYA) is the UK's only youth-led campaign group run by and for disabled young people—70% of members have learning disabilities—and they need a Community Organiser to help them take on one of their biggest fights yet: defending SEND rights.

This isn't traditional charity work. CYA doesn't lobby for disabled young people—they campaign as them. From Mad Hatter's Tea Parties outside Facebook HQ to high-level negotiations with decision-makers, their approach is bold, creative, and effective. As one member puts it: "Leadership doesn't have to look a certain way... That's what we do at CYA."

What you'll be doing

You'll support CYA members to challenge urgent threats to their rights—particularly government reforms affecting SEND (Special Educational Need and Disability) rights. This means:

• Developing campaign strategies and power mapping decision-makers with young activists
• Facilitating actions, media engagement, and high-level negotiations
• Coaching young leaders and building their confidence to take the lead
• Creating alliances and expanding CYA's reach and influence
• Ensuring everything is accessible, inclusive, and driven by lived experience

The Role

What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for a range of activities, including:

• Maintaining and updating the full suite of personnel records for staff
• The timely and accurate generation and issue of employment contracts/amendment to terms and associated paperwork
• Overseeing the quality of data held within the HR system and other HR software and offer guidance to users of the systems and administrative support
• Preparing and accurately entering all monthly salary information on to the HR system
• Recruitment support for all Institute vacancies and managing the recruitment process
• Overseeing the probation and induction process for new starters and to conduct new starter induction sessions
• Developing new, and streamline existing administrative processes and procedures
• Generating system reports as and when required

About You...

The role is ideal for someone with good generalist HR experience and up to date knowledge and understanding of key HR legislation and HR systems.

We are looking for an organised and dependable individual who has a proven ability to work with within a small team, and who can communicate effectively with a wide range of people both in written and oral form.

Proven experience of accurate data entry and monthly payroll processes is essential along with previous experience of effectively following administrative processes.

How will I be working?

We work in a flexible, trust‑based way through our How We Work model. This gives individuals and teams the independence to choose how, when and where they work best, while recognising that some in‑person collaboration is important for impact especially from an operational standpoint.

You’ll be assigned a base office, which can also be your chosen place of work. Most of our roles offer hybrid working as standard, with occasional office visits to help us stay connected and support our inclusive way of working. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and purpose-driven Marketing & Communications Officer to join our passionate and committed team. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will develop and deliver the marketing and some of the communication plans and activities across the breadth of OCT’s work.

You’ll support the Marcoms Manager and Head of Advocacy and Engagement, bringing ideas across our OCT programmes that build our profile, generate income via our events, experiences and Learning team, support fundraising, promote the role of our visitor attraction, and amplify the impact of our Ocean conservation work. This role focuses on story-telling and content creation, adapting our key messages to our diverse audiences, driving media engagement and communicating across multiple channels.

As your role will work collaboratively with many departments and stakeholders within the OCT, you will be familiar with tailoring messaging and flexing your ways of working with the relevant department heads and team members to develop and deliver campaigns and activities in a timely manner, some of which also convert into income for the charity.

You’ll be able to demonstrate experience within Marketing or Communications roles. Having experience within conservation or charities would be desirable. You’ll be passionate about our cause, with a positive, can-do attitude and capacity for learning.

You’ll work Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm based at the National Marine Aquarium, in Plymouth. There will be occasions when you’re needed to work weekends and bank holidays to meet business needs, where you will be eligible for TOIL. There may be opportunity for flexibility to work from home on occasion, fitting around work priorities and other team members.

We’re looking for a Parish and Appeals Fundraiser to join our growing and supportive fundraising team at an exciting time of development. This is a brand-new role where you’ll help shape our approach to fundraising from the ground up — growing and supporting individual giving in our parishes, helping to build a new CMS, developing diocesan-wide appeals, and co-creating a simple and effective legacy campaign.

About the Role

Appointment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, though reduced hours and flexi-time will be considered.

Main Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the Senior Fundraiser to refine and roll-out the parish fundraising programme.
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Fundraiser and Deputy Chief Operating Officer to devise and deliver a programme of annual diocesan appeals.
• Develop and deliver clear and engaging content for print, digital, website and social media elements of the appeal.
• Ensure donors and users have an accessible and seamless experience across all channels.
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget, checking and seeking advice where necessary.
• Implement and maintain a diocesan Customer Management System
• Prepare and share donation reports and feedback for each parish programme and diocesan appeal.
• Review and analyse reports to gain insights into donor behaviour and improve future fundraising activity.
• Develop and implement a simple legacy strategy
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Fundraiser and Trust Fundraiser to explore and develop other fundraising income streams.
• Research and keep abreast of industry activity and trends.
• Undertake any other reasonable tasks as required by the department/ diocese.

The Opportunity   

As a key team member within our Partnerships and Income Development team, you will play a vital role in supporting the management and growth of our corporate partnerships, with a focus on partnerships that enable and enhance our Aspiring Professionals Programme.

1. Account Management: 

• Ownership and management of the direction, growth and success of key strategic partnerships with Freshfields and Linklaters, providing excellent stewardship and effective communications to ensure long-term and mutually beneficial relationships.
• Manage, renew and develop a select portfolio of smaller existing partnerships in the legal sector, identifying new opportunities to deliver greater impact and income growth.
• Support internal account management structure across corporate programme partnerships, ensuring relationship management and programme delivery is delivered to a high standard, processes are consistently upheld, and partnerships are renewed where required.

2. Stewardship and Reporting: 

• Track deadlines, deliverables and reporting requirements for own portfolio of corporate partnerships.
• Create reports, updates and support with the creation of case studies to demonstrate the value and impact of partnerships.
• Find creative ways to share updates and engage partners with our mission and work 
• Work closely with the Head of Partnerships & Income Development, Partnerships Manager and finance team to build budgets, track secured income accurately, report on risk and opportunities, and ensure that income is banked.

3. New Business and Partnership Development

• Work closely with the Programme Delivery team to understand programme needs and gaps in provision, in order to improve the quality, depth and breadth of programme partnerships.
• Use your expertise and creativity to design and shape strategic programme partnerships that align partner objectives with student and programme outcomes. 
• Write, build and create compelling and innovative partnership proposals, budgets and presentations to secure new business and develop existing partnerships.
• Deliver a smooth onboarding process for transitioning new partners into account management structure.

4. Line Management

• Outline outcomes to be achieved, considering individual skills, capabilities, and workload to ensure a balanced distribution of work.
• Review work outputs, monitor and quality assure work.
• Identify training and development needs; employ a coaching approach, and clarify opportunities for skill enhancement and career growth.

• Most of our work is office based, but you will spend a lot of time collaborating with other teams and clients via email, telephone and other communications channels such as Teams or Zoom.

About the role

As our Marketing Manager – Supporter Retention, you will lead the development and delivery of the supporter experience, stewardship, and loyalty activity within the retention and engagement programme. Ensuring a consistently high-quality Supporter Experience. This role is responsible for strengthening the emotional connection to WaterAid’s mission and maximising Brand Loyalty and Love by driving the development and optimisation of all supporter journeys and stewardship communications.

In this role, you will:

• Supporter Experience Ownership: Act as the champion for the quality of the Supporter Experience, leading the coordination and optimisation of all automated, multi-channel supporter journeys (excluding direct appeals).
• Key Channel Delivery: Own the content planning, production, and delivery for core stewardship channels, including the Supporter Magazine, Welcome Journeys, and Feedback Communications.
• Email Programme Management: Own the day-to-day coordination of the email marketing schedule across all stewardship and engagement communications, ensuring effective sequencing and segmentation.

Requirements

• Content & Experience Focus: Proven experience in improving the quality of the Supporter Experience and managing high-quality, long-form content production (e.g., supporter magazine) to foster loyalty.

• Operational & Technical Skills: Strong project management skills, experience in matrix management, and proficiency in working with CRM systems and email marketing platforms.

• Data-Driven Mindset: Experience in using testing, segmentation, and data analysis to drive optimisation and provide clear rationale for strategic decisions.

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
