About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Family Support Coordinator to support our care teams in delivering a high-quality family support service in the region, working with families and professionals to ensure the families we support have access to the services they need.
Reporting to the Family Support Manager and working in partnership with health, education, and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for sourcing practical goods and services in the region, applying for grants and benefits, as well as working with other charities or community providers to obtain goods, equipment or funds for families that Rainbow Trust do not provide directly.

About the role
Our residents in this service have experienced long-term street homelessness and have faced significant challenges including with their mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency, and struggled to sustain engagement with support services. That's why they're here, to make a change and gain the support they need to enable greater independence and recovery.
As a Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provides person centred support to our residents, you will work to ensure safety and wellbeing of our residents. You will support mainly the night shifts to ensure the service runs smoothly at night, being a point of contact for residents, engaging with them to ensure their safety comes first, and running various evening activities for engagement. You will build trusting and professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through one to one sessions, group sessions, and general wellbeing check ins. During quieter hours, you will be responsible for ensuring administration is up to date, the service is kept clean and tidy, and will support with additional ad hoc tasks.
About you
We're looking for someone who has a true passion for what we do as an organisation, and particularly in supporting those who have faced homelessness and may have other complex needs. Our residents needs are at the forefront of service delivery, so someone who can build trusting professional relationships is key. You will be adaptable, proactive, and able to use your initiative to resolve challenges, and keep the night service running smoothly. Working Hours
Our Young People need care 24/7 so we have fixed rotas, with staff needing to be able to commit to weekends and bank holidays.

Main Responsibilities:
Leadership
1. As a member of the Operational Leadership Team and wider Senior Leadership Team, work collaboratively and take collective responsibility for the strategic management and leadership of the organisation.
2. Work closely with the CEO, Treasurer and Board of Trustees to facilitate good governance and risk management.
3. Manage, maintain and develop all financial systems and control; increasing their impact and quality, and implementing best practices in financial management.
4. To supervise finance assistants and ensure that they are adhering to financial code of practices.
Financial Management
1. Lead and manage all aspects of the financial cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, fixed asset management, reserves & designated fund management and financial reporting.
2. Work with HR & Payroll Officer to manage and retain oversight of the day to day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and general ledger maintenance, including the reconciliation of petty cash, credit cards and all bank accounts on a monthly basis reviewing and approving payment runs and payroll.

4. Lead and manage the provision of regular budget monitoring and reports to budget holders.

10. To work closely with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and designated Trustees to advise, review and cost the annual pay award.
11. To provide back-up and holiday cover for the processing of monthly payroll.

Governance and compliance
1. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements (e.g. Companies House, HMRC and the Charity Commission).

Project Officer
This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer passionate about young people and youth work. We’re looking for someone to work across all of our Youth Zones, particularly focusing on an AI project. No skills or experience in AI will be needed as full training will be provided. A willingness to learn and a keen interest in AI is essential as the successful post-holder will champion for AI work across the Network.

Position: Project Officer
Location: Hybrid working: 2 days a week in the London office (White City) combined with home-working and travel to Youth Zones, as required. Please note that this role will require frequent travel to all Youth Zones across the country with a willingness to undertake regular evening work.
Salary: £30 - £35,000 per annum
Contract: Fixed-term 18 months (due to project funding)
Hours: .Full time, 37.5 hours per week. (4 days per week part-time would also be considered, salary pro-rata)

First Stage Interviews: In-person at WEST Youth Zone, White City, London on Monday 4th August 2025. There will also be a short, values-based phone interview as part of the process.
About the Role
The Youth Zone Network Gen AI project aims to address the digital divide by equipping young people with the skills, knowledge and confidence to navigate and benefit from AI. Delivered across six Youth Zones, the programme blends creative exploration of generative technologies with structured digital skills development.
As our Project Officer, you will support the management and delivery of the Gen AI project across the Youth Zones and will champion integration of AI into wider youth work, including related Network projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering training to youth workers in a train-the-trainer model
- Supporting high-quality session delivery with young people
- Co-ordinating programme management, evaluation and quality assurance to track engagement and outcomes
The role involves regular time spent in Youth Zones during evening sessions, working directly with staff and young people.
No prior experience or knowledge working with AI is required for this role – just a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in AI.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong communication and relationship management skills together with experience of the following:
- Facilitating workshops or training sessions
- Project delivery and/or management
- Working with youth workers and/or young people
- Data collection or interpretation
You will be expected to demonstrate experience, skills and knowledge throughout the recruitment process.
