Job description

CRUSE BEREAVEMENT CARE LEEDS

Service Manager (28hrs per week, fixed term for 12 Months with possibility of extension or other employment opportunities)

We are looking to recruit an experienced Service Manager to ensure high standards of quality are maintained during a period of restructuring within Cruse nationally.

You will have experience of management in the voluntary sector and of staff & volunteer supervision.  Your role will encompass all aspects of service management including assessment of training needs, preparation of statistical reports for funders and oversight of budgets.

You must be prepared to work flexibly, currently due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, work will be home based until a time when our lovely city centre premises can reopen. When we are able to reopen some early evening cover may be required.

Cruse Bereavement Care is the largest bereavement charity in the UK. Our mission is to offer support and advice and information to children, young people and adults when someone dies and enhance societies care of bereaved people.

As Cruse is currently undertaking a restructuring, the role will be an initial 12 month contract, with possibility of extension or further employment opportunities.

The closing date for this role is 26 June 2020 with interviews arranged for w/c 13th July and w/c 20th July.
