The Partnership Fundraising Manager (Scotland) will focus on coordinating approaches to secure new donations from high value supporters (Trusts and Corporates with a specific focus on philanthropy). About Women in Prison

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.

Job Purpose:

To provide reliable and essential administrative support to the WomenMATTA team; ensuring accurate data capture and the smooth running of WomenMATTA’s office. Act as a front of house staff member to the WomenMATTA office, mailbox and phone line; providing advice and signposting to enquiries and greeting visitors. About this key role

Our successful candidate will carry out initial and ongoing assessments of the support needs of individual participants, before providing them with essential advocacy, mentoring, guidance and training interventions that meet their needs, plus engage and case-manage eligible participants on the CFO Evolution programme by providing ongoing resettlement support.  You will be expected to create an Action Plan, plan and design appropriate activities, training programmes and interventions, and establish and deliver high-quality, engaging one-to-one and group sessions, while also monitoring participants’ progress and providing timely monthly reports.

We will also rely on you to develop strong relationships with HMPPS/agencies offering support, where appropriate provide holistic wrap-around with general elements of resettlement support and working collaboratively plan for and facilitate effective Through the Gate and warm handover to the relevant Support Worker in Community.

What we are looking for

• Working intensively with individuals and supporting their progression

• Working with offenders, or those disaffected and marginalised from mainstream services, in training, guidance, advice and counselling environments would be advantageous

• High level guidance skills, with the ability to deliver one-to-one and group sessions

• Knowledge of the issues affecting the rehabilitation of offenders and desistance theory

• Knowledge of HM Prison environments and/or training, education and employment opportunities locally and nationally, and of training and guidance

• Demonstrable ability to support and motivate learners with multiple complex needs

• The ability to effectively assess evidence and identify assessment criteria using a range of assessment methods

Job Purpose:

To provide operational management of the Substance Misuse Through-the-Gate (SMTTG) programme, which supports Lambeth and Southwark women in custody and their transition back into the community. The Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the service is delivered to a high standard by line managing staff, developing strong partnerships with prisons and recovery services, and fostering a culture of quality, learning, and accountability.

The post holder will also hold a caseload, working directly with women in custody to support them into community services. They will provide robust Through-the-Gate (TTG) support on release and continue to work with women in the community for up to six months to ensure a smooth transition and sustainable recovery.

Key Responsibility Areas:

1. Lead the operational management of the Substance Misuse TTG programme, ensuring high-quality, trauma-responsive support for women impacted by the criminal justice system
2. Manage and develop staff to foster a strong, inclusive, and reflective team culture
3. Deliver direct support to women, ensuring a trauma-informed and person-centred approach
4. Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders in prisons and the community to strengthen partnerships and share expertise

About the Role

The position is permanent and part-time. It is for 3 days per week, for the right candidate. The postholder must be available to work one Saturday a month. A normal working week is 21 hours (3 days per week) to be worked between 09:30am to 5:30pm weekdays. There may be an opportunity to work from home once a week after probationary period.

The main tasks of the role include: maintaining effective communication and correspondence with our vulnerable young clients and booking appointments; overseeing and updating our case management system; administrative financial work, costs billing and creating invoices; and general administrative duties including filing, scanning, shredding, archiving, photocopying, creating e-bundles, preparing and taking post to the post office, completing forms, and requesting subject access disclosure and other information from third parties.

The role also requires the administrator to support, where necessary, the day-to-day administrative management of the office and PRCBC operations. This includes liaising with external stakeholders across a range of areas such as IT support and building management; supporting the maintenance and updating of operational procedures and practices; and completing ad-hoc administrative tasks, such as office supply procurement, as required.

To work effectively at PRCBC, it is necessary for the administrator to closely follow instructions, retain a professional approach throughout, and be highly focused and well organised, with excellent attention to detail.

Due to the varied nature of PRCBC’s work, the administrator participates in many aspects of the management, administrative and legal process, and interacts with a wide range of individuals, from solicitors and barristers to social workers and foster parents, alongside frequently vulnerable young clients and their carers. The administrator is therefore expected to manage a varied and evolving workload. The right candidate will have an initiative-taking mindset, be highly adaptable and willing and able to take initiative in daily operations.
