ABOUT US
Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, unlike NHS emergency services, is a charity. This free life-saving service is provided 24/7 by helicopters and rapid response vehicles.

They can be rushed to the scene with life-saving support equipment to deliver advanced clinical care, usually only in the hospital emergency department.
Once stabilised, the patient will be conveyed to the most appropriate hospital by air or land.
Without access to National Lottery funding and with only limited support from Government, we rely upon the generosity and goodwill of the people and businesses of Essex and Hertfordshire to remain operational and keep saving lives…we can’t fly without you!
We are committed to becoming an inclusive organisation that represents all aspects of the communities we serve. We recognise that this a journey and that there is a lot of hard work ahead. We celebrate diversity of background and thought in our ambition to create a workplace where everyone feels empowered and able to bring their authentic self to work each day.
EHAAT is a charity which provides vital life-saving care to critically ill and injured patients across Essex, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.
Health and healthcare policy are complex matters which are constantly evolving. With so many cross-specialty issues affecting the whole of the medical profession, it is the Academy’s role to ensure a united voice is heard by policy makers and key decision makers. We are seeking a project manager to join our friendly, diverse and talented team working at the heart of national healthcare policy. A great deal has been done to prepare the organisation for such an important time and so now there is a real opportunity for this role to lead in being a figurehead for the charity and representing all that is achieved at GFS in national events and discussions, to best represent the girls of today.
Our new strategy is built around pillars of Impact, Brand and Sustainability with an ambition to grow in delivery as well as reputation. GFS is aware that the work done to listen to and amplify girls’ voices is important because they have so much to say about what needs to change and from a very young age. This role will be key to making this happen.
Equity, Diversity and inclusion is of strategic importance to GFS. We encourage applications from ethnically and racially minoritised, disabled and from LGBTQ+ people to build our best staff and volunteer teams and reflect the girls we serve.
