The Head of Inclusion is a newly created position, reinforcing our commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion at The Old Vic. Currently comprising 3 members of staff, the Trusts & Foundations team is part of the Global Foundations & Trusts pillar within the International Partnerships & Philanthropy (IPP) department. Trusts & Foundations is a key growth area for IPP, with significant potential to grow revenue from existing supporters and a robust new business pipeline in place for financial year (FY) 2021. This role will be critical in enabling the sub-team to achieve this potential and surpass targets for FY2021 and beyond.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
As Trusts and Foundations Executive you:
Work with the other Trusts global team members to maximise restricted and unrestricted income from existing and new donors within the Trusts & Foundations function,

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
New business development (50%)
Responsible for maintaining and developing a portfolio of current and potential trust and foundation donors in order to maximise sustainable unrestricted and restricted income.
Develop, prepare and submit funding applications to trusts and foundations, and contribute to the delivery of the Fundraising team’s target to raise both unrestricted and restricted funds, with a particular focus on priority funding needs.
Support the Head of Trusts & Foundations on strategic partnership opportunities as required.
Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of the IRC’s international programmes to ensure the development and delivery of high-quality concept notes and applications.
Produce donor development plans and bespoke communications.
Ensure all trust and foundation business development and relationship management activity, including new gifts and opportunities, is captured accurately on Salesforce, and support timely and accurate internal reporting on the team’s activity.
Donor Stewardship & Grants Management (40%)
Ensure that the Trusts team is able to develop its existing supporter relationships to maximise revenue and other strategic objectives through outstanding donor stewardship, including at senior stakeholder level.
Ensure the highest standards in grants management, working with colleagues in International Programmes, Technical Units and Finance to develop high quality narrative and financial reports in line with IRC processes, including through the IRC’s grants management system OTIS.
Strategic Support (10%)
Collaborate with global fundraising and International Programmes staff to develop timely, accurate and compelling information about the IRC’s work and impact.
Monitor developments and trends in trust fundraising, including through relevant sector events and networks.
Contribute to overall strategic and financial planning as required.
Actively participate in Fundraising team meetings and events.
Carry out other duties, as required, to maximise IRC’s trust and foundation fundraising.

Must be flexible and able to attend occasional weekend and evening events.

The Director of Finance and Operations is a key member of our Senior Leadership Team. The role will work closely with Elrha’s CEO, the Director of Programmes, the Director of Policy Engagement & Communications and our Senior Management Team to deliver our strategic ambition. We are looking for an individual who is driven to achieve, who can inspire a team and collaborate and provide highly effective operations support to our programme teams. We are looking for someone who is keen to drive continual improvement in our operational functions.
To be successful you will need to have significant experience in similar senior leadership roles with a track record of delivering excellence in a range of operational functions. You will be flexible and hands-on, have exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage outsourced-providers as well as internal staff. Job Purpose
- To act as Secretary to key Greenwich Hospital governance committees, documenting all Greenwich Hospital’s board and committee meetings
- To support the Senior Management Team in their role as leaders by ensuring they can act efficiently, with their time optimised
- To support the Office Manager in maintaining an efficient, professional and welcoming office environment (both physical and virtual)
Key responsibilities
- Provide flexible support to the Director of Greenwich Hospital (“GH”), and other Senior members, coordinating diaries for the Senior Management team, liaising with external and internal contacts to confirm appropriate appointments
- Act as Secretary of Hospital’s Advisory Board and other committees by:
- Planning and timetabling the meeting cycles
- Drafting agendas for meetings in liaison with Director GH and Senior Management
- Producing concise, accurate and timely minutes
- Monitoring matters arising and ensure they are actioned on time
- Coordinating Board packs
- Issuing papers both electronically and, when exceptionally required, in hard copy
- Assist with the recruitment and induction of new Board members as required
- Keeping the organisation’s Declaration of Interest Register and Gifts & Hospitality Register up to date
- Act as the Secretary of other internal project boards and committees as required
- Ensure that risk registers are maintained and used; and that the Advisory Board and Panel are briefed on and consider them in addition to the Audit Committee
- Supporting the Office Manager by:
- Ordering office supplies
- Maintaining the contract register
- Assisting with logistical arrangements for applicable meetings (including assisting with refreshments, documents, and venue set up)
- Oversee efficient inbox management of central mailboxes, as well as other mailboxes as needed
- Maintaining suitable central templates for office documents, including reports, forms, and presentations
Accountabilities
- Efficient oversight of diaries and core governance meetings, such that non-executive Members gain a positive impression of Greenwich Hospital’s corporate governance
- Management of accurate governance records, including Board and Committee minutes, Board and Panel declarations, and submissions to The National Archives
- Oversight of internal risk registers, including ensuring they are regularly reviewed
- Providing an example of excellent standards of governance and accountability across the organisation
- Supervised management of data retention policies, including archiving and destruction
