About the Role

We are an agile social enterprise looking for a qualified Finance Manager to manage and operate our existing finance function. The Young People Programme Manager will work with the Creative Learning team at Factory International to develop, deliver and manage programmes of work with young people between the ages of 14 and 30. This role will be responsible for the delivery of key strategic partnerships with commercial brands, as well as developing new streams of work with a focus on sharing power through curatorial programme decision making, programming and youth governance.
Creative Learning develop and deliver learning programs with young people and children from Cradle to Creative (the age of 0 through to 30) with a focus on underrepresented children, young people and artists. As Strategic Lead (Cancer & Inequalities) you’ll continue our work with GM Cancer to achieve a permanent reduction in inequalities and inequity within Greater Manchester, addressing the social, environmental, and economic determinants of health and wellbeing, with the aim of ensuring active VCSE participation.
This role will suit someone with a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of people, for tackling health inequalities, and who enjoys working in fastmoving and complex systems. To be successful you’ll need experience of supporting a strategic partnership; developing proposals and funding models; and influencing at a senior level.

Job Description
Waterwise is looking for a Head of Commercial Services. This is a new permanent role on our Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the CEO and specifically designed to deliver against the next phase of Waterwise’s journey – increasing our reach and impact on water efficiency both within and beyond the water sector. You’ll be leading and broadening our commercial offer, helping us drive even greater impact in water efficiency, and the income to support it, across the UK. You’ll refine our proposition and pricing of existing services, seeking opportunities to cross-sell additional services to existing audiences, as well as broadening our reach, engaging with completely new audiences and developing and shaping new commercial services aligned to new customer needs. You will have strong experience at senior level in driving commercial impact for good, and everything this involves in terms of income, growth, commercial strategy and delivery, and risk management. You’ll be working closely with our Board, and reporting to the CEO and the Board on finance and risk.

Job Purpose
The International Finance Manager works closely with the Director of Finance & Corporate Resources to oversee financial management of the UK Charity and its international subsidiaries.
This role holds specific financial management responsibilities which include:
- The development, implementation and ongoing oversight of financial policies, practices, processes and systems.
- The production of the budget and quarterly management accounts, the management of the external audit and production of consolidated year end statutory accounts.
- Relationship management with banks, HMRC and outsourced financial services providers; providing comprehensive finance support to members, staff, budget-holders and the Leadership Team (LT) on budgeting and reporting.
- Supporting the Director of Finance & Corporate Resources in providing comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to the Board, Finance & HR Committee and LT.
- Undertake the financial due diligence review of new and existing members in accordance with Charities Framework.
- There is an expectation that regardless of time zone the job holder will need to work flexibly to support work with colleagues in different time zones including occasional work outside normal working hours. (8.00am – 6.00pm)
