About this role
The Senior Business Development & Fundraising Coordinator will work as part of the Fundraising and business development Team at RedR. Their role is to work across all income streams within business development and fundraising, with a focus on running the business development and fundraising team’s day to day work, supporting the Associate Director of Programmes and Business Development in meeting BD and fundraising targets, draft high quality bids – particularly to institutional funders-, and nurturing relationships individual and corporate donors, as well as trusts and foundations.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Team, Project and Line Management

Manage the day-to-day operations of the business development and fundraising team, including line management of the BD/Fundraising Officer.

Ensure timely delivery of BD and fundraising projects and deadlines in coordination with teams across organisation

Oversee the management and maintenance of Salesforce and other software and applications.

Ensure accurate income consolidation and donation capturing.

Support the Associate Director of Programmes and Business Development in developing/updating and operationalising team strategies, budgets, systems, and processes.

The role:
As a Community Engagement and Fundraising Officer, you will play a vital role in helping our charity manage and develop relationships with our donors, supporters and our existing key relationships, whilst identifying and creating new relationships in our local areas to garner support and promote our services.

About the role
Our new Research and Collaboration Coordinator will play a central role in delivering our mission to support those working to advance equality through the law. Working closely with our Director and Head of Research, you will help us develop and strengthen our partnerships, respond to the needs and demands of our partners and support the development and delivery of a diverse range of research projects and initiatives. The role will include:
- Managing relationships with our global network of equality activists;
- Coordinating projects and activities with our consultants, fellows and partners;

The Head of Counselling has overall responsibility for the smooth running of the clinical services, the recruitment of suitable counsellors, supervisors, and Strides HCC team to ensure the maintenance of high standards of service delivery.
The role is an integral part of Strides, working with the CEO and other Heads of services to support the continuous development and delivery of services in line with Strides’ strategy.
The main purpose of the role is to provide effective management and leadership of Strides HCC. The role focuses on the strategic development of the project, the financial management and financial sustainability of its operations, and the overseeing of all aspects of the clinical service delivery and clinical governance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• To be accountable for all aspects of clinical governance in the service, reporting back to the CEO as required.
• Organise and chair the steering group meetings, review minutes and report back on actions and progress.

• To sustain existing and develop new business for HCC by raising the profile of HCC and by identifying, engaging, and building relationships with new clients and other mental health services.
• Develop professional networks and partnerships with a range of key stakeholders to aid service development.
• Anticipate and develop strategies to resolve service challenges or risks involving appropriate colleagues.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
• To set an annual operational budget for each service in conjunction with service managers, finance team and senior management.
• Act as budget holder for designated area, responsible for monitoring and controlling assigned budget, taking corrective action where appropriate, and reporting as required.
• Work with service managers to ensure all financial and administrative processes are delivered to a high standard within policies and procedures.
• To identify possible sources of income, working with fundraising colleagues on sourcing funding for service development.
SAFEGUARDING
• Be responsible and accountable for ensuring HCC fully embeds excellent safeguarding practice and are fully aware of organisational safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Act as key source of support, advice, and expertise for safeguarding for the service.
• Together with the Clinical Manager act as points of contact for counsellors and supervisors in case of urgent clinical questions/issues.
PEOPLE LEADERSHIP
• Create clear vision and objectives for service(s) under your leadership; empowering, motivating people to be fully engaged and participate in the work and provide high standard clinical service.
• Through line management responsibilities, develop accountable service managers with clear expectations and objectives, ensuring learning needs are assessed and met.
• To have regular, clear communication with direct reports and facilitate a ‘feedback loop’ to ensure your teams are fully informed of organisational decision making and updates and team members are provided mechanisms to feed into organisational developments.
• To ensure that staff operate at the level of competency specified for their posts; to coach, support and develop staff to enhance their levels of competency and to take effective steps to address underperformance.
• To work with service managers and HR team to ensure the best possible management of team members, ensuring all matters are managed in line with Strides policies and procedures.
• Line manage the Service Manager and the Clinical Manager, and the Clinical Supervisors.

The General Counsel's Division (‘GCD') is a department led by the General Counsel and Company Secretary, and is made up of the Legal and Compliance, Company Secretariat, Safeguarding and Risk teams.
In your Coordinator role you will use your drive, initiative, strong organisational and excellent communication skills, playing an integral role in bringing the GCD together to align and deliver on departmental priorities. You'll be a catalyst for the development of strong relationship-building across the GCD by planning and executing key departmental activities, and you'll collect insights from across the organisation to help raise the profile of the GCD within Save the Children UK (SCUK).
In your governance role, you'll use your baseline understanding of good governance to ensure that the processes you support are administered transparently and efficiently – streamlining them for more effective use wherever possible. Department Coordination
Working with the General Counsel & Company Secretary, provide proactive administrative and coordination support to the GCD. This will include:

Governance Assistance & Process Management
Provide minute-taking and logistical support to the Enterprise Risk Management Team in their clerking and administration of SCUK's Audit and Risk Committee of the Board of Trustees (‘ARC') including:
- Scheduling meetings and managing related diaries.
- Booking rooms for ARC meetings; coordinate logistics and supplies.
- Attending ARC meetings and recording accurate and concise minutes, capturing key points, actioning items, and decisions made during meetings, distributing minutes after meetings.
- Provide support with the administration of SCUK's related entities' board meetings, including scheduling meetings, booking meeting rooms, preparing board packs, distributing papers and taking minutes of meetings, as requested.
Act as the organisation's policies governance coordinator which will include:
- Managing the process for the review, development and approval of SCUK's policies in view of SCUK's overarching governance framework.
- Keeping the Policies Directory on the intranet up to date.
- Supporting policy authors as they navigate SCUK's policies governance process and devise simple initiatives to raise organisational awareness of its existence and purpose.
- Act as SCUK's Focal Point for the Save the Children Association (SCA) Mutual Accountability Framework (MAF) annual assessment

Role description and purpose
The post-holder will be responsible for the successful leadership and management of CPA’s portfolio of programmes in line with the strategic direction set by the Council and Trustees. Reporting directly to the CEO, the post-holder will be a key member of the senior management team, leading the Programme/Project Management team and working with the Finance Manager, Communications Lead, Research Lead, Advisors and other key staff to develop and deliver CPA programmes across the Commonwealth and beyond. This will include strategic planning, project and team management, development of workplans and budgets, provision of leadership, good governance and oversight of all programme-related activities. About the Role
