About Education & Wellbeing Coordinator (mental health) role:
Hours: Part-Time 30 hours per week with the option to join 4 day week and go down to 24 hours after passing probation with no decrease in salary
Contract: Fixed Term - contract end date 31/03/25
Location: Truro, Cornwall
Salary: £30,000 pro rata

Job Overview:
To provide high quality, flexible local management for mental health and wellbeing services in targeted education and youth settings and the mental health hub ensuring successful service coordination including all operational elements and ongoing delivery.
To provide high quality management support and supervision to a team of Education and Wellbeing Specialists and Counsellors who deliver mental health and wellbeing interventions and provide information, advice and guidance to people aged 11 to 24.
To work collaboratively to ensure Brook is aware of and accessing service and business developmental opportunities.

Hours: Full Time 37.5 Hours per week. Brook has a 4 day week policy. Hours will reduce to 30 per week with no reduction in pay on satisfactory completion of probation.

Job Overview:
A key member of Brook’s safeguarding team with responsibility for driving our national safeguarding remit and supporting the discharge of our legal, contractual and organisational safeguarding responsibilities. To deputise and support the Designated Safeguarding Lead in providing expert safeguarding guidance for children and adults at risk. To work in collaboration with the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Heads of Service, Brook’s Safeguarding Escalation Team and service level safeguarding leads/managers to ensure that high quality, safe and effective services are delivered to users of Brook’s clinical, education, counselling and wellbeing services.

Employability Programme Manager (Ardwick)
35 hours a week
£31,757 - £34,609 (starting point dependant on experience)
This position is primarily based in Ardwick
Manchester Young Lives does education differently. We building trusting relationships that enable young people to feel respected and safe, facilitating engaging creative personalised learning programmes that leave young people with SEND believing they can succeed. We are looking for a passionate values driven professional who will support young people in our Learning Hubs to believe in themselves and achieve their aspirations.
MYL is recruiting for an Employability Manager to lead our Post 16 programme in Ardwick for young people 16 - 25 with SEND. You will need the skills to manage the multi-disciplinary team providing a flexible and engaging curriculum of learning alongside high levels pastoral support and enrichment activities. You will work with colleagues and partner agencies to coordinate admissions and meet young people’s needs, including acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead.
This is a full-time year-round role but we are happy to consider job shares, reduced hours or flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.
