The Role

This role serves as the strategic lead of the European ecosystem, including the UK, overseeing strategies to ensure this powerful movement is growing, is supported, and is being nurtured across communities, countries, leveraging and building power with key actors.
This role understands the nuance of targeted campaigns, how to win them, the context of the big picture, and then designs strategies to intersect the short and long term to build actionable plans for maximum impact.

Working collaboratively across Europe and globally, you will lead the development and implementation of Europe's movement strategy – understanding our campaigns, leading power mapping, understanding constituency and context needs, running experiments, and distributing grants. Skills Required

Purpose of Role

The Digital Fundraising Growth Manager will manage our digital paid media planning and delivery, driving audience engagement at all stages of the marketing funnel, specifically with the aim of delivering growth in our supporter base and income.

The HR Manager will carry out the following essential functions of this role:

HR Leadership

• Serve as a trusted HR advisor, aligning people strategies with Shift’s mission and organizational objectives.
• Partner with Shift leadership on strategic workforce planning, organizational development, and talent retention.

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, from job posting to candidate selection and onboarding.

Compensation, Benefits & Compliance

• Partner with Shift’s Head of Finance and COO to manage compensation, administer employee benefits, including health insurance, and retirement plans.
• Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws across all relevant jurisdictions, working with external providers where relevant.

Operations & Administrative Support

• Support the implementation of systems for internal communication, knowledge management and team-wide collaboration.
• Oversee HR administrative tasks, including remote work logistics and coworking subscriptions.

• Coordinate logistics for team retreats and support logistics for other events.

Supervisory Responsibilities 

• This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

What You Bring to the Team

• 5+ years of HR management / generalist experience, ideally in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels.
• Ability to multi-task, work effectively, and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience in recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, international environment.
• Proficiency in English.
• Existing permission to work in the US or the UK.
• Ability to travel when needed for in-person events.

Purpose of the Job

Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing & Hounslow Mind deliver services across five sites in West London. Two sites are operated by HFEH Mind and three sites are run by our partners.

We are looking for a proactive and organised Facilities Co-ordinator to support the smooth running of our charity's buildings across all five sites. This is an ideal role for someone with some experience in facilities, property services, or office co-ordination who would like to support a large but locally focused mental health charity.

Key Responsibilities

General

With a commitment to providing high-quality and accessible spaces to a diverse community, working knowledge of the health and safety obligations of operating community buildings, and a friendly, non-judgemental attitude, you will be required to:

Day-to-day Site Operations

• Conduct basic site checks; schedule, prioritise and carry out minor repairs (e.g., replacing lightbulbs, replacing camera batteries, reporting larger maintenance issues).
• Escalate any issues to the Business Support Manager when necessary.
• Ensure spaces are tidy, clean and safe in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain guidelines and site handbooks, ensuring all are up to date.
• Ensure supplies checked and well stocked (toiletries, stationery, refreshments, toner).
• Liaise with central services to oversee onsite deliveries.
• Co-ordinate movement of items/ stock between sites.
• Report shared IT and photocopier issues to relevant suppliers. 
• Ensure waste disposal at HFEH Mind sites are compliant with local authorities’ guidelines.

Health & Safety Support

• Support with regular fire alarm testing and fire drills.
• Help maintain health and safety records and reports.
• Assist with onboarding staff on building safety (e.g., exits, alarms).
• To be a First Aider and Fire Warden (training will be provided) and ensure training is up to date. Organise other staff to be Fire Wardens.

Security & Access

• Keep track of keys and access fobs; maintain register.
• Ensure security systems are in working order (CCTV, alarms).
• Liaise with external contractors as required.

Coordination & Admin

• Assist Business Support Manager with maintenance schedule and supplier review schedule.
• Maintain records for H&S inspections (fire extinguishers etc) and risk assessments.
• Help gather quotes for minor works or maintenance.
• Ensure all facilities related invoices are provided to finance.
• Check post at registered office(s) regularly and manage facilities email inbox.
• Contribute data for management reports.

Person specification

Essential

• Experience in a facilities or office coordination role, ideally across multiple sites.
• Good understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
• Comfortable handling basic manual tasks (changing lightbulbs, moving boxes, etc).
• Good IT skills. Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
• A commitment to the values of HFEH Mind and respecting the needs and confidentiality of our service users and visitors.

The team have also recently conducted a wealth screening exercise which has identified numerous opportunities for the team to explore. The Role:

• The Senior Philanthropy Manager will lead the philanthropy programme, inspiring and developing a team of 3 to deliver income in excess of £1.3million annually
• Develop and implement a philanthropic giving strategy with a focus on retaining, uplifting and recruiting gifts from high-net-worth donors
• Take responsibility for developing the major donor pipeline and drive forward new business opportunities to achieve sustainable income growth over the next 3 years
• Personally steward a portfolio of donors and prospects at the 6-figure level, with ambitions to build relationships with individuals with capacity to give 7-figure donations

About You:

• Proven experience at managing a philanthropy programme with demonstrable success at growing income
• Significant pipeline development experience and ability to effectively engage with prospects and lapsed donors

• Experience managing direct reports to support them in their own development and enabling them to thrive in their roles
