About the Role:  We wish to appoint a Social Media Coordinator to join our small Communications and Engagement team.  This is an exciting opportunity to increase the engagement of the Diocese of Winchester through digital media channels.

You will be responsible for sharing the life of the diocese and positive content about Christian faith through social media with particular relation to sharing news and stories about the 2025 Bid for national funding (awarded by the national church to dioceses to support them to undertake transformational programmes aimed at revitalising mission and ministry and growing the Kingdom of God in terms of numbers of worshippers and depth of faith). 

This role also includes equipping our churches to reach out using digital tools and social media platforms with a particular emphasis on younger audiences, in line with our Bid’s priorities to grow younger and more diverse as a diocesan community.

Job Summary

• Developing the diocese’s social media presence on its current platforms – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn– developing content and campaigns according to an annual content plan which incorporates all church seasons, awareness days, liturgical events, as well as sharing the key messages and events from the Diocese particularly in relation to the 2025 Bid for national funding. 
• Working closely with the Comms team, Strategic Development team and senior staff to identify stories and examples of good ministerial practice and creative ideas that can be communicated with our wider diocesan community through social media, fostering a culture of information and ideas sharing across the diocese. 
• Being part of wider strategic conversations to consider the role of social media in how the diocese can effectively communicate information about the Bid process and how benefices can engage with it, particularly in communicating with children, youth and families and youth leaders. 
• Assist with the development of a strategic plan which grows the diocesan presence on new platforms, such as TikTok and BlueSky, with the specific aim of generating content that reaches younger audiences and that is more missional and ‘gospel-centred’, keeping up to date with online trends.
• Working closely with Mission and Ministry Team to communicate their training and events in ways tailored to younger audiences, and building collaborative networks of young people and youth leaders and comms people around the diocese who will share our content. 
• Equipping our parishes with digital skills in using social media through training, getting them started on appropriate platforms and advising them on content and strategy to connect with existing and new audiences, as part of a suite of interventions offered as part of the 2024 Bid for funding and aligning with aims to help our diocesan community grow younger and more diverse. 
• Using online tools in data analysis, reporting on social media engagement, and scheduling tools such as Buffer. 
• Engaging with other social media users within and outside our community, including regularly interaction with parishes and diocesan communities, sharing their stories and commenting, replying to messages and queries, and being an ambassador for the diocese and our Christian faith and values. 
• Ensuring our social media platforms allow stakeholders to provide comments and feedback on all that we do and to create a culture of shared ownership and storytelling. 
• Working consistently within and upholding the diocese’s brand values/tone of voice and within the Archbishop’s social media guidelines as well as the diocese’s own social media policy.
• Supporting the other members of the comms team with creating designed content using tools like Canva and video for use on social media sites and offering creative ideas within the team context.

Key role requirements

This is an office-based role, with the expectation to work from the office 1 day per week.

About you

We are seeking someone who can demonstrate the following qualifications, experience and skills:

• Educated to at least degree level is preferable
• An excellent level of English is essential
• Good skills in both written and verbal communication
• Experience of using social media and designing campaigns to share stories of Christian faith, grow online community and reach younger audiences
• Some experience with audio, photography, video editing for multi-channel use
• Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or other editing tools
• Experience of working within, or alongside, the Church of England or another Christian charity or mission organisation desirable

The role

This role requires translation of quantitative and qualitative data into clear, actionable insights and stories that can be communicated effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the charity. The role also includes supporting the Evidence & Insight (E&I) team with the collation of existing evidence,  working with external agencies and partners to support the delivery of targeted E&I projects, developing networks, and horizon scanning across the sector to keep up to date on E&I programmes. The post-holder will have key involvement in supporting the communication of the  E&I team’s work across the charity by developing and coordinating a centralised resource for up-to-date reports, findings, and statistics.  The post holder will also contribute strategically to Evidence & Insight operations and documentation.

About you

We are looking for someone with a proactive mindset, who has a creative approach to exploring data.Ideally you will have already had experience of working in the charity or non-profit sectors and have strong analytical and technical skills including an understanding of CRM systems, conducting statistical analysis such as regression and hypothesis testing and be proficient in data management and manipulation using tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, SPSS, R or similar.  You will be adept at working collaboratively with team members and external stakeholders to support the delivery of targeted projects and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities.

About the role:

Respect is seeking one Helpline Advisor to provide support to male victims of domestic abuse on the Men’s Advice Line and perpetrators of domestic abuse on the Respect Phoneline.

You will support service users by phone, email and webchat, providing emotional support, practical advice, information on the available options, and signposting to other services. As well as work with male victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse in ways that support them to increase safety and reduce harm, as described in the Models of Work and relevant policies and procedures.

About you:

• An understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on victims, in particular male victims
• An understanding of the help-seeking barriers for male victims of domestic abuse 
• An understanding of the reasons why perpetrators use abusive behaviours towards partners in relationships 
• Experience of providing information, advice, and support by telephone, email and webchat in a helpline environment 
• A commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and an approach that centres survivors, in particular Black and minoritised survivors.

We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate Community Caseworker to join our team and provide frontline support to South Asian single mothers affected by domestic abuse. Who We Are

 Maa Shanti is a specialist charity supporting South Asian single mothers and their children who have experienced domestic abuse. We offer culturally responsive, trauma-informed support to help women rebuild their lives and achieve independence. Our services include one-to-one casework, advocacy, group activities, mental health support, and community outreach. We work in partnership with local organisations to ensure women are heard, respected, and supported every step of the way.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide one-to-one emotional and practical support to women impacted by domestic abuse and exploitation
• Deliver in-person outreach and advocacy across North (with a focus on South Camden) and East London
• Build referral pathways and collaborate with grassroots organisations to strengthen community connections
• Facilitate workshops, group activities, and online peer spaces
• Help shape new services based on lived experience and community feedback
• Promote awareness of domestic abuse within South Asian communities and represent Maa Shanti at local forums

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 3 years’ experience (paid or voluntary) in VAWG, social care, or community support
• Fluency in a South Asian language (e.g. Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi)
• Experience supporting vulnerable groups, especially survivors of abuse and migrants
• A strong understanding of cultural barriers and intersectional challenges faced by South Asian women
• Confidence working both independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication skills
• A trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and empowerment-focused approach

The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) is exclusive partnering with Robertson Bell in their search for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their evolving team on a permanent basis, in this newly created role.

The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key senior member of the finance team and will help shape the strategic management and direction of the team. They will support the Director of Finance and Operations, Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and budget holders to understand and interpret IIED’s finances and play a key role in the long term strategic financial planning process.

The key duties of the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis are as follows:

• Lead on strategic financial reporting to provide a clear picture of the organization’s short- and long-term financial position
• Manage the design and build of financial models to support strategic planning, project impact assessment, and forecasting
• Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic forecasts and budget plans
• Develop and maintain financial models to project future financial performance
• Lead the finance business partnering function, providing support and guidance to budget holders and key stakeholders
• Ensure monthly management accounts are produced and shared with stakeholders
• Financial evaluation of project proposals to support management decision-making
• Manage and mentor the FP&A Team, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional growth and development
• Work closely with project managers and budget holders, ensuring projects are financially sustainable and aligned with donor requirements
• Collaborate with operational teams, including HR, IT, and Procurement, to integrate financial planning with operational strategies

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified with a recognised professional body, or be able to prove they are qualified by experience
• Experience in charity financial planning, budgeting and cost recovery model in a complex organisation
• Substantial relevant finance management experience in the not-for-profit sector
• Experience in mapping and analysing processes and identifying and implementing process improvement
• Excellent communication skills and be able to influence at all levels within the organisation
• Ability to manage, support and develop diverse teams to work effectively together and with the rest of the organisation
• Ideally, experience of accounting within a grant receiving organisation

We have one permanent Funding Officer position in the Yorkshire and the Humber regional team.

Join us as a Funding Officer and you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to communities across the region. Working as part of the Yorkshire and the Humber team as part of a team of 20 colleagues you will combine hybrid working - either from home, our Leeds office adjacent to Leeds station, or project visits, to understand how and where amazing people and organisations are transforming neighbourhoods.

If you have previous experience for a funder, then that is great but it’s not a necessity.

• You will need to be confident with comprehension and writing because you will be working with those applying for grants to advise and support them as necessary to develop proposals including project budgets.
   
• You’ll work with your colleagues to assess and recommend projects for funding. Some days you’ll be attending funders fairs, in person or online, whilst on others you may be meeting with Councils or other funders to share information about need and funding in a particular neighbourhood.
   
• You’ll also have responsibility for overseeing a portfolio of projects to ensure they are on track. If you have experience of the voluntary sector that would be ideal, particularly in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
   
• Confident in writing, comprehension and with an understanding of budgets you will be passionate about supporting communities to build on their strengths to improve lives.

The Operations Administrator will work closely with the broader Operations team to provide centralised communication and administrative support, and effective coordination across all aspects of the work of the Operations team.

As this role is central to the work of the Operations team, the person will need to be proactive, organised, and able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines. As well as being the key link between the Operations team and the Research and Communication teams, they will need to be able to work well with the wider organisation and provide excellent customer service to a variety of stakeholders globally. A key focus of the role will be to ensure data accuracy across a variety of platforms, drafting and coordinating centralised communications with Operators, and support reporting on the activities of the Operations team. The successful candidate will not only have strong administrative skills and experience but will also have strong experience within communications and/or research.

Key responsibilities:

Communications:

• Coordinate central communications for all Operators including production of newsletters, sharing Award Community updates and annual reminders.
• In conjunction with the relevant Senior Manager, plan and deliver the annual communications calendar for each Operator.
• Being the key link between the Operations and Communications teams.

Centralised administration:

• Alongside colleagues, provide administrative services to the Operations team responsible for the management of all Operators.
• Maintain and report on the Annual Operations Calendar.
• Coordinate Operations team meetings.

Data/reporting:

• Ensure data accuracy across various platforms, including but not limited to Salesforce, our website, and the Award Community (our online learning platform).
• Manage the structure and storage of records on the Shared Drive for the Operations Team.
• Produce and share regular reports with the Operations Team and the wider Foundation.

Licensing & quality:

• Fulfil the role of lead reviewer on licence reviews for all Operators.
• Support the Licensing team with coordination of licence reviews for all operators.
• Support the onboarding of new Operators including, but not limited to, issuing licence certificates.
• Support coordination of annual policy review.
• Support coordination of the Operator Annual Reporting process.
• Manage the coordination of the external activity provider processes and ensure the published list is accurate and up to date.

Operations/programme/growth:

• Support Operations Managers to process Award authorisations for IACs.
• Support the administration of Operator events including centralised coordination activities such as setting up virtual meetings, producing event calendars etc.
• Research new prospect Operating Partners.
• Support with the coordination of the three funds grants.
• Support the administration of training events including processing applications, updating dashboards and releasing certificates.

North East, working in person in Teesside three days a week

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader, with a passion for giving children the best possible start and with a strong belief in the power of communities. The role will work both locally and nationally, as part of the wider team. 

The Director will manage our client’s existing programme in Redcar and Cleveland with a talented and committed team (10 staff). They will also develop and manage the new programme in Middlesbrough, currently in Discovery phase, and recruit a staff team of 8- 10 people, with support from the charity’s central team.  Once set up, the Director will lead the following across both areas: 

• Building relationships and networks in the areas, across the public, voluntary and private sector 

• Leading the team to support delivery of the charity's local early years strategy in the areas

• Leading the delivery of a portfolio of complementary workstreams, continuously refining and strengthening the work so that we make the greatest possible positive difference to local children and families 

• Working closely with local partners and the national team to ensure that data and learning is captured and fed into strategic thinking and our national model 

Supported by our central team, the Director will enable local stakeholders to collectively support parents and children under 5, to improve outcomes in the early years and particularly improve levels of school readiness. Crucial to this work will be engaging with and empowering local parents who are the key to successful delivery of the initiative.

This is an exciting opportunity for an impact focussed leader, who brings: 

• Experience of working at a senior level with public sector and/or voluntary organisations involved in the delivery of services and support to families with children under 5 

• A track record of implementing concurrent and complex workstreams effectively, with proven project management and evaluation skills 

• Experience at leading and developing staff teams

• Experience of building networks of solid relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
