About the role
Our Surrey Volunteer Recruitment Manager (VRM) works closely with VRMs in Herts and London and our marketing team to promote the MCR programme to organisations and individuals. The purpose is to recruit committed volunteers who will mentor a young person in their school for one hour a week during term time. The Mencap Community and Events Team has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and passionate fundraiser, dedicated to raising as much funds as possible to help make the UK the best place to live for people with a learning disability to join our team as Senior Community Fundraising Manager covering England and Wales.
Covering the England and Wales the Community Fundraising Manager will be responsible for managing various income streams across the Community portfolio working closely with the wider team.

We have a very exciting opportunity for anyone who enjoys working on the front-line of patient support in the Wirral and Liverpool area.
This role will deliver Kidney Care UK’s Patient Support and Advocacy service in Liverpool and the Wirral region. This varied role deals with every aspect of a patient’s life that supports better outcomes: welfare benefits, practical, emotional and social support. As well as directly supporting patients, you will raise awareness of the wide range of local and national resources available to kidney patients, and build strong relationships with kidney patients, professionals, and other stakeholder groups in the region.
Based at home (laptop and mobile phone provided), you will be expected to travel independently across Liverpool and the Wirral area and manage your own caseload with the support of your line manager and other members of our national friendly, committed team.
We’ll provide the training, you’ll bring enthusiasm and your experience of working with chronically ill patients in a social, care or health role.

Location: Remote OR Hybrid (based in North West England with regular travel required)
Salary: £28,665 - £31,965 pro rata (£17,199 - £19,179 or £22,932 - £25,572 actual)
Hours of work: Part-time, 3-4 days (21-28 hours) per week

About the role
The Partnership Manager (North West England) role involves:
- Engaging with churches from Merseyside, and further afield in North West England, communicating the exciting opportunity to run Kids Matter programmes in their local communities.
- Guiding potential church partners through our partnership pipeline, from initial enquiry to attending facilitator training.
- Nurturing, maintaining and strengthening relationships with our current partners through regular calls and support.
