We are looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic leader to work with the present Executive Director & Senior Minister on the leadership of Oasis Church Waterloo, on HR, team development and leadership, and on the Hub budget/finance strategy.

Alongside the Executive Director & Senior Minister, they will also have a focus on developing Oasis Church Waterloo, including developing and leading church services, nurturing discipleship, pastoral care, involving children and young people, and bringing creativity to our church activities. We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Bid Manager who can actively craft commercial tender submissions and work with the team to ensure we submit high-quality, winning bids within UK government procurement rules.

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for Global Black Thrive involvement in the Culture of Care Programme liaising with the Lived Experience Advisors, the Race Equity Lead, Neurodiverse Connections, the Royal College of Psychiatrists and NHS England. 

This will include HR, Operations and Admin functions relating to the Culture of Care (CoC) Programme and will include managing systems to efficiently run the business and achieve strategic objectives agreed by Black Thrive Board of Directors. 

The role will be the first point of contact for our CoC team, organising travel and accommodation, managing HR and office queries. 

You may be involved in managing onboarding and offboarding, preparing employment contracts (Full-time and/or part-time, zero hours and/or fixed terms contracts), checking and following right-to-work in the UK, and administrating DBS checks. 

You will be working with the HR and Admin Manager in Global Black Thrive and may be required to assist in wider team activities where required.

Salary: £52,000 per annum, with competitive benefits package, and potential for ‘on-target earnings’, linked to performance

Job Description
Waterwise is looking for a Head of Commercial Services. This is a new permanent role on our Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the CEO and specifically designed to deliver against the next phase of Waterwise’s journey – increasing our reach and impact on water efficiency both within and beyond the water sector. You’ll be leading and broadening our commercial offer, helping us drive even greater impact in water efficiency, and the income to support it, across the UK. You’ll refine our proposition and pricing of existing services, seeking opportunities to cross-sell additional services to existing audiences, as well as broadening our reach, engaging with completely new audiences and developing and shaping new commercial services aligned to new customer needs. You will have strong experience at senior level in driving commercial impact for good, and everything this involves in terms of income, growth, commercial strategy and delivery, and risk management. You’ll be working closely with our Board, and reporting to the CEO and the Board on finance and risk.

Your new role

You will be responsible providing the utmost support to the Head of Finance and the wider Senior Leadership Team with diary management, minute-taking, board and council meetings, travel logistics and complex inbox management.

You will also be the point of contact for various teams like the facilities team, HR team, finance team and general building management to ensure everything runs smoothly within the office.

As the Executive Assistant and Office Manager, your duty is to support multiple individuals with a main focus on the Head of Finance.

Main scope of the role

• Administrative support to the Executive Directors
• Office Support and Management
• Council and Meetings Support.
• Ensure the smooth running of the office.
• Act as facilities manager for the office dealing with items such as telephone system, copier franking machine, furniture etc.
• Manage office cover and handling of inbound telephone calls.
• Manage incoming post - involves reading and acting on all incoming post. Once done go through and action with Executives.
• Manage any office moves.
• Maintenance of diaries - self-explanatory but often complex because of number of officers and entities.
• Arranging travel & itineraries - trips around the UK for Executive Directors.
• Confidential work for the Executive Directors.
• Assist in compiling agendas and reports for all Council meetings.
• Organise Council and other Committee meetings and meetings with Government bodies and other ad-hoc meetings.
• Taking minutes for Council meetings.
• Support the election administration - involves ensuring those voting are allowed to vote and those retiring by rotation have the opportunity to stand again, collation of attendance records and other administrative matters.
