As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be at the centre of our technology operations joining our high-performing IT team. Working closely with the Infrastructure & Security Manager you will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining the College's IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include managing network systems, servers, storage devices, and other related hardware, software, and cloud platforms.  Furthermore, you will serve as an escalation point for the ServiceDesk team and support the Infrastructure and Security Manager in implementing and managing security protocols to protect company data and systems from potential threats.

In addition, you'll provide vital support for examination systems, ensuring all IT equipment and software are set up and functioning perfectly. Your general IT support will be invaluable as you resolve user IT problems, assist in delivering technology projects, and collaborate with third-party service providers to keep our systems running smoothly.

What you’ll do:

• Infrastructure Management: Support the design, implementation, and operation of technology systems, including cloud services, hosting, on-premises network, and server infrastructure.
• System Stability: Ensure the stability and performance of our technology infrastructure while minimizing downtime and disruption.
• Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system issues, and respond to escalations via the IT Service Desk.
• Cyber Security: Assist in monitoring network and system activity, investigating security incidents, and implementing security measures.
• Examinations Support: Provide technical support for examination systems and equipment setup.
• General IT Support: Resolve user IT problems, assist in delivering technology projects, and support third-party service providers.

What you’ll need:

• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, Windows Server, Intune, and network infrastructure devices.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.

Luminary Ltd provides training, employment and community to some of the most disadvantaged women in London. We use baking as a tool to guide women towards employability and independence. We work alongside women who have experienced gender-based violence and live with ‘multiple disadvantage’. The role
Luminary is entering an exciting phase in its development, transitioning from a small, founder-led start-up into a medium-sized charity. Key Responsibilities:

Five years + experience in fundraising contributing to strategy as well as delivery.

Demonstrated  success in fundraising  with a proven track record of securing significant income from trusts and foundations, and/or major donors and corporate partners.
Skilled in relationship-based fundraising with experience of donor cultivation and stewardship to secure long-term partnerships.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop compelling funding proposals, persuasive pitches and impactful reports.
Experience in financial planning including creating and managing budgets, and financial analysis skills to track and report income performance.
Strategic and innovative thinker able to identify, assess and pursue new funding opportunities aligned with charity goals.

About the opportunity

As an Impact Analyst, you will work within a team across multiple social impact projects. An example of one of the programmes you will become a key part of delivering is the Single Homelessness Prevention Service (SHPS) which is a programme that prevents the next generation of rough sleepers.

The programme supports people to sustain an existing tenancy by negotiating with landlords/ family members, or providing coaching to empower people to do so. Where needed, we help them to find and secure a new home, typically in the private rented sector. SHPS services also seek to prevent the mental trauma associated with homelessness by preventing the escalation of the homelessness journey to crisis point.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include.

· Overseeing all data related aspects of the programme including data collection, extraction, cleaning, analysis, reporting, and presentation.

· Manage all Power BI reporting tables and system with support from central teams.  

· Gathering and analysing quantitative and qualitative data to measure the impact of service innovations for the programmes you are working across. Produce regular reports and insights that aid decision making to continuously improve programme design.

· Taking initiative to propose and implement relevant analyses to the project to maximise positive impact for participants with the programmes you are supporting.

· Building relationships and working at times directly with Delivery Partners (VCSE organisations who are delivering the frontline services for the programme) to ensure they are able to use the data systems accurately and effectively,

· Identifying opportunities for process automation and improving utilisation of management data by colleagues across the programme.

· Work with system developer to manage system changes and improvements.

· Lead the set-up of a new database and associated new contract mobilisation activities.

· Provide research and data to support the development of new interventions. 

· Produce monthly board packs for programmes and provide minutes of meetings.

·  Support bid submissions with development and growth leads.

· Engaging with other analysts across BOP to share learnings from your own project and implement learnings from other projects in your own.

The Community Engagement Officer will play a crucial role in delivering the Dementia Community Champions (DCC) programme for Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK). Launched in 2022, the programme aims to disseminate dementia information to underserved communities who face barriers in accessing health and research information and are at higher risk of dementia. The programme to date has focussed on South Asian communities, working in Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. In 2026 the programme will expand into Black African and Black Caribbean communities in East London. With the programme expanding, the Officer will have significant scope to support, shape and develop this important area of work.

Dementia Community Champions are volunteers trained by Alzheimer’s Research UK to deliver events in their communities to increase knowledge and understanding of dementia, brain health and dementia risk factors. They also emphasise the importance of taking part in research in their local communities.

They do this by, attending training sessions run by the team, holding events to share dementia information, sharing leaflets and other resources, speaking to local people about their experience of dementia and signposting them to appropriate support.

In the role as Community Engagement Officer, you will assist in the recruitment, training and support of the volunteers to deliver their activities and events. We are looking for a confident and friendly, organised and proactive person to join the team. You’ll be part of the Information & Involvement department, whose mission is to improve understanding of dementia and the diseases which cause it and encourage and support the public and people affected by dementia to get involved in research. The department forms part of the Policy, Communications & Involvement directorate and works closely with colleagues both within the directorate and across the charity.

This is a 12-month FTC.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Day to day support of volunteers

· Assist in the recruitment and management of DCC volunteers, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and volunteer journey.

· Act as a point of contact for DCC volunteers, providing guidance, support, and timely responses to their enquiries.

· Empower volunteers by helping them build skills and confidence to talk about dementia and dementia research, and to engage effectively with their audiences.

· Plan, facilitate, and deliver monthly online meetings. This includes coordinating with volunteers, arranging logistics, addressing queries, and liaising with internal stakeholders.

Comprehensive admin support

· Provide comprehensive administrative support for the programme, including assisting volunteers in organising and evaluating their events.

· Collect key metrics from the programme to monitor progress and evaluate activities.

· Maintain relevant files and documents, ensuring accurate recording of data and adherence to GDPR.

Support the delivery of Dementia Community Champions in underserved communities.

· Assist in the development and delivery of DCC training and ongoing support to volunteers to hold their own events.

· Act as a champion for DCC across Alzheimer's Research UK, effectively communicating the importance, successes and challenges of the programme. Share insights and support colleagues across ARUK in their efforts to reach underserved communities.

· Collaborate with the DCC Manager to produce ongoing evaluation of the programme. Proactively suggest new initiatives and continuous improvements.

What we are looking for:

· Science graduate or equivalent level of education (biomedical or biological subject) or equivalent level of worked experience.

· Experience of discussing health or research with the public.

· Experience of communicating complex health information in a simple and accessible way.

· Awareness of current topics in dementia and dementia research

· Understanding of GDPR and information governance.

· Demonstrated experience in providing comprehensive administrative support for programmes or initiatives.

· Experience of working with and supporting volunteers.

· Experience of partnership working with external organisations to deliver programmes.

· Project and events coordination experience.

· Effective written and spoken communication skills.

· A confident, friendly, and professional attitude; would feel at ease representing the charity to a range of audiences.

· Willingness and ability to travel independently in the UK and occasionally to work outside of regular office hours when needed.

What the job involves

We’re on the lookout for a Direct Marketing Executive to join our Individual Giving Team here at Prostate Cancer UK. This role focuses on acquiring new cash and regular givers across a range of channels including direct dialogue, direct mail, digital and telephone, helping fund research that will save and improve lives.

In this role you’ll be part of an exciting time at the charity, joining us as we roll out our new Fundraising strategy and continue investment in Acquisition. You’ll drive on campaigns across a broad range of channels, with the aim of recruiting new, and re-engaging, lapsed regular and cash supporters. You’ll look for ways to test and innovate to drive the lowest attrition, best ROI and strongest lifetime value. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from across the organisation to drive the best creative, messaging, targeting and data insights.

About the role

As the Project Officer for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP), you will work closely with two existing Project Officers to engage with selected schools. You will support these schools across the area to inspire, encourage and enable more pupils and their families to walk, wheel, cycle and scoot to school.

You will engage and work with selected schools and their wider communities across BCP, developing and delivering fun, engaging and innovative activities and events. These will be inclusive and promote and enable all forms of active travel (walking, cycling, scooting and wheeling) to school. This will be achieved through planning and delivering practical skills (like cycle and scooter skills sessions, bike maintenance and led walks and rides), information events (such as assemblies, drop in sessions, pop up stands), competitions, incentive programmes and classroom sessions. You will also support the successful delivery of BCP Council’s School Streets programme, both for new and existing schemes.

You will work closely with relevant teams at BCP Council and other key stakeholders to achieve the biggest impact through collaborative working.

You will report directly to the local Project Manager, work with the other project officers and local volunteers on the project, and other officers locally, as well as engaging with project officers across the South region and the UK.

Due to the nature of the role, a full DBS is required to be completed by the successful person. Candidates should be based within the geographical area with regular travel expected.

About you

You should have experience of working with young people from a wide variety of backgrounds and be able to adapt your approach to meet varying needs. You must demonstrate evidence of planning and delivering engaging and interactive group workshops and activity sessions, as well as experience of events planning.

You will have experience of delivering successful behaviour change projects, ideally with a physical activity focus, and have an understanding of community based or environmental projects.

You will be a skilled communicator, with the ability to connect with different audiences ranging from children, parents, school staff and the wider community.

About the role

Sightsavers’ Trusts and Corporate Partnerships team is excited to be expanding its team in response to growing demands and opportunities in the trusts & foundation sector. We are recruiting for two additional Trusts & Foundations Advisors to be key contributors to the development of Sightsavers trusts and foundations programme. They will play a crucial role in the successful recruitment and cultivation of new business, while also managing a portfolio of existing trust and foundation donors primarily based in the UK, U.S and Europe.

In this role, the Advisor will be instrumental in contributing towards the team’s annual income target and supporting additional planned growth in the coming years. 

Responsibilities

• Manage and cultivate relationships with a portfolio of key trust and foundation donors for Sightsavers (up to 7-figure funding agreements) via proposals, mailings, reports, telephone or face-to-face meetings as appropriate, and coordinate donor visits, dealing with CEOs, Directors, and Trustees.
• Develop key external and internal relationships and donor engagement activities for the achievement of planned objectives with these donors.
• Research, identify, prioritise, and develop personalised engagement plans and donor strategies to cultivate new trust prospects in targeted global markets. Lead on cultivating relationships with CEOs, Directors, and Trustees, with the aim of establishing additional high-value funding relationships.
• Work proactively across the organisation, including cross-culturally, to coordinate, develop, and deliver a high standard of compelling project proposals and reports ready for submission to donors whilst ensuring excellent grant/contract management to existing donor relationships.
• Actively participate in the networks surrounding trusts and foundations, sharing information, insights, opportunities, and fundraising materials produced.
• Represent Sightsavers and/or support staff delegations at conferences and networks to engage with and cultivate new donor relationships.
• Contribute to team, departmental, and wider organisational systems development and initiatives.

People facing decades of prison time often completely lose connection with their family and friends on the outside. Depending on the prison, there may be limited access to rehabilitative programmes and educational courses until later in the sentence. It can be hard to maintain hope, and direction, or create meaningful plans for the future.
People leaving prison after 10 years will have different needs to those leaving after 10 months. The world has changed – there are different habits and new social norms. The Hardman Trust is at an exciting point in its development as it celebrates the arrival of its new team, the realisation of its first ever organisational strategy and looks forward to the next phase of its journey.
Our successful multi-year applications to the Lottery (Reaching Communities), City Bridge Trust and Bromley Trust means we will continue to be part-funded by them until 2027.
