The London Diocesan Fund (LDF) is seeking a Regional Net Zero Carbon (NZC) Fundraising Officer to accelerate funding and support for decarbonisation projects across four dioceses: London, Southwark, Winchester, and Oxford.
This is a unique opportunity to drive real change for church buildings and communities, helping them reduce carbon emissions and access vital funding for sustainability projects.
About the Role
Working as part of the regional NZC consortium, you will:
· Develop and deliver a strategic approach to fundraising across the four dioceses.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with grant-making bodies, diocesan teams, parish leaders and regional NZC partners.
· Research funding opportunities and share them across dioceses and parishes.
· Support diocesan staff to build a fundable project pipeline and respond quickly to grant deadlines.

· Support communications, including regular funding updates to parishes.
· Represent the dioceses in the national Church of England NZC fundraising network, sharing best practice and insights.

Whitley Awards Ceremony
The Whitley Awards are the result of an international search to find, fund, train and put a spotlight on outstanding grassroots leaders and their conservation projects. Finalists are invited to London for a week of training and events, culminating with the Whitley Awards Ceremony, where winners receive their Awards from WFN Patron, HRH The Princess Royal in front of 400 guests and many more tuning in via our livestream.
The Events and Office Assistant (EOA) will assist in the planning and delivery of the annual Whitley Awards Week, including the Ceremony, Friends Reception, NGO Reception, and related activities, particularly in the following areas:
- Arrange team and visitor travel, accommodation, and hospitality logistics
- Manage event guest lists and RSVPs using Salesforce and other platforms; help coordinate mail-outs and e-invitations
- Provide on-the-day event support including set-up, guest registration, and general assistance
- Support event logistics such as venue liaison, catering, AV, décor, merchandise, and materials, assisting with supplier coordination
- Champion WFN’s Event Code of Conduct.
Other WFN Events
Throughout the year WFN holds other fundraising and engagement events ranging from intimate dinners with supporters, winner talks, events as part of our Next Gen programme, and major initiatives such as Royal dinners, Galas and Biodiversity Summits which will require the EOA’s assistance.

OFFICE ADMINISTRATION AND OPERATIONS
Smooth running of the WFN office and systems is vital for the charity to work effectively, with this role helping to support the team. The WFN office is a busy and welcoming environment, with regular visits by winners and supporters.
Office Management
- Ensure the office is a welcoming, tidy, and well-functioning space
- Greet visitors and manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries
- Liaise with team and suppliers to order office materials and manage contracts (utilities, cleaning, stationery, refreshments, merchandise etc.)
- Manage post, deliveries, and waste removal procedures
- Oversee and liaise with the office cleaners to ensure they have the products they need and are paid in a timely manner.
Administrative Support
- Assist with diary management and scheduling meetings (in person and online)
- Arrange team and visitor travel, accommodation, and hospitality logistics
- Draft routine correspondence, thank-you letters, and other administrative communications
- Review and respond to general email enquiries (info inbox)

What you’ll do

Deliver activities and campaigns that support CareDogs’ overall fundraising strategy and income targets.

Proactively increase public fundraising initiatives and promote ways for people to fundraise for or donate to CareDogs, researching and implementing opportunities for increasing donations through organised, community and ‘DIY’ fundraising events and challenge activities.

Establish, nurture and maintain community relationships, securing donations and support from local businesses (such as supermarkets and pet stores), community groups and individuals.

Create marketing materials and social media content in line with CareDogs’ brand guidelines.

Record and report fundraising campaign income and activity outcomes.

Lead on public awareness-raising events such as Paws in the Park and other local community events.

Cultivate and steward relationships with existing supporters, responding to enquiries (emails, letters, phonecalls) and increasing supporter engagement.

Keep the website up to date with news, blogs and community stories, and support monthly newsletter communications via Squarespace and Mailchimp.

Maintain accurate supporter records on our CRM (we use Beacon), updating contact and engagement information regularly.

Utilise Eventbrite to promote events and ensure the charity’s JustGiving Page is up to date with any fundraising campaigns

We are currently looking for a Policy Specialist to join Mencap. This position sits within the Policy and Public Affairs teams of Mencap’s Campaigns, Advocacy and Activism Directorate (CAA). You will work closely with our influencing, information and advice, campaigning, and research work, as well as sector partners like the Disabled Children's Partnership.
This is an exciting new role to deliver policy change and enhance the rights of children and young people with a learning disability. At a key time to influence Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) education reform, we are seeking a policy specialist to shape policy work that reflects the needs and experiences of children, young people, and their families. Working within the policy team, you will be responsible for developing evidence-based policy work and influencing decision-makers.
This is a full time position (37.5 hours per week). We are flexible with your work location, but there may be some occasional travel needed to our London office or Westminster.
You will:
· Translate complex work into clear and persuasive policy briefings, consultation responses and reports.
· Work within wider coalitions of charities, building collaborative relationships and ensuring that the needs and priorities of our community are addressed.
· Develop and expand Mencap’s ‘Policy Shapers’ work, ensuring our work reflects the experiences of children and young people with a learning disability and their families.
· Support our information and advice team, briefing them on important developments, inputting into casework discussions relevant to your areas of work, and supporting the creation of public information resources.
· Represent Mencap at meetings and events, with MPs, civil servants, and sector partners.
· Identify and analyse relevant research to develop evidence-based policy recommendations.

The Project Officer will work with the Viewpoint team, pool of lived experience facilitators and local communities to co-develop and deliver projects that forward mental health recovery in the wider community.
The postholder will enable the participation of people experiencing mental health and/or addiction challenges in all aspects of the planning, delivery, and monitoring of services delivered and to ensure they are provided with the relevant training, support and resources to participate effectively.
The post-holder will work with individuals from all communities to develop new and innovative ways to reach harder-to-reach people. For example, people from travelling communities and farming communities. This role will further the reach of Viewpoint as an organisation to involve diverse communities and ensure their voices are heard in internal and external projects.
The monitoring, evaluation and learning that the postholder collects will be essential for the development of the organisational strategy. The strategy is developed with Viewpoint’s team and pool of experienced facilitators so that our service delivery to those with mental health and substance use challenges can be continually improved.
