About KLS’ Future Foundations education team 

Future Foundations is an education programme of Katherine Low Settlement. Since 2004, KLS’ Future Foundations education team of 10 part-time staff and over 100 volunteers, have supported young refugees and their families in Battersea and the London Borough of Wandsworth to thrive in their education. Through mentoring, family support, casework and homework clubs, we provide the tailored support each young person and their family (if they have one) needs to overcome the barriers to education they face at home and school.

Working with the Senior Caseworker and Team Manager your role and responsibilities include: 

•Support staff to liaise with families/carers to communicate information regarding our work

•Support staff to keep and maintain robust recording and monitoring systems

•Maintain, collect, edit and store documentation of our work including photos, case studies for Newsletters, funding reports and other records

•Support our senior case workers with weekly drop-in advice sessions at KLS, including completing forms with families, general admin tasks etc.  

•Support casework team with making and following up on internal and/or external referrals, signposting whenever relevant and according to adequate referral pathways and in response to the young people’s/family's needs – with support and guidance from staff

•Add information to our database – guided by team leads/managers - log all cases; monitor progress and ensure all identified actions are taken

•Support with casework tasks, guided by senior caseworker and manager, from initial contact to resolution, maintaining confidentiality throughout

•Liaise with external agencies and organisations on behalf of clients

•Respond to enquiries by telephone, email, referring on internally or externally organisations when necessary

•Ensure records are kept and information managed confidentially in line with the data protection legislation

•Supporting Refugee team with general admin, database, evaluation data

•Maintain excellent safeguarding practices

•Supporting with partnerships liaison work – keeping records up to date 

Teamwork and reporting

About the role

This role will be part of the finance system team acting as a finance system business expert, administering, supporting and developing Unit 4 ERP. The role will also be critical in the execution of key Finance Projects, including the migration to Unit 4’s Cloud and the implementation of Unit 4s Financial Planning and Analysis Tool.

The role will support finance users and the wider organisation to get the most out of Unit 4 ERP by ensuring the integrity of accounting data, compliance with finance controls, robust workflow management and report maintenance and development.

As an Evidence Officer, you will work on a range of behaviour change and infrastructure projects, providing monitoring, evaluation, and analytical support. The Strategy, Impact and Evidence teamplays an important part in supporting our vision by providing robust evidence on sustainable and active travel that ultimately influences and shapes policy, practice and behaviour across the UK.

Established in 1997, Jigsaw4u provide a range of services for children, young people, families and vulnerable adults experiencing complex social and emotional difficulties across South West London. Healthwatch City of London are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced communications and engagement officer to ensure that the patient and service users voice is at the heart of Health and Social Care decision making.  The successful candidate will drive engagement with the local community, creating visibility of our work to residents and partners. You will also be responsible for the management of our volunteer team and the exciting projects they undertake.

This part time role (4 days a week) is within a busy small team representing the residents, workers and students of the City of London. Healthwatch City of London are the independent champion for people who use health and social care services. We’re here to make sure that those running services, put people at the heart of care. Our sole purpose is to understand the needs, experiences and concerns of people who use health and social care services, and to speak out on their behalf. We also work to get services right for the future.

You’ll also be representing our organisation at network meetings across all the various Health and Social Care providers, charity partners and patient groups across North East London.

Role purpose

Working closely with the General Manager and Trustees you will develop and deliver the communications and engagement strategy for the organisation, making sure the patients voice is at the heart of everything we do. You will write monthly newsletters, daily social media posts, organise and manage engagement and information events and produce statutory publications. You will also deliver the volunteer strategy by recruiting and managing a wide-ranging volunteer team and identifying relevant projects which enhance and deliver on Healthwatch City of London objectives.

Location: Remote

Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday (30 hours possible for the right candidate), with additional on-call rota days (1 weekend in 4, plus 2 evenings per week, toil for any work done in those hours).

The Role

Join a co-operative providing British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreters and developing tech to support to users. The co-operative is co-run and co-owned by its members, who are Deaf people and BSL interpreters. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Operations Team Leader to provide a high quality and efficient service, helping the business to achieve agreed targets whilst working to the co-operative’s ethos. 

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating the provision of communication professionals for Deaf/Hard of Hearing people across for medical (including mental health) appointments and for other work in a variety of sectors (education, child protection, conference, employment, legal settings etc)
• Accepting and making calls
• Dealing with bookings and general enquiries in a fast-paced environment
• Supporting marketing and business development and communicating to members and external stakeholders
• Supporting other staff where necessary

The position is grounded in the co-operative’s ethos, ensuring financial processes align with the organisation’s values and strategic objectives. About You

You will have excellent customer service skills and experience in a client-facing role. With strong organisational skills and attention to detail, you will have the ability to meet strict deadlines, follow contractual service levels and prioritise your time effectively.

• Excellent IT skills with good knowledge of Word, Excel, Databases with the ability to learn how to use dashboards and other applications
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

We are seeking a Philanthropy Officer to play a key role in supporting and delivering excellent stewardship for our Patrons and most generous individual donors. Digital Marketing, Head of Website Transformation | £80,000 - £96,473 | 12-month FTC | Hybrid Working | London

For a complex, global organisation (100 million users in 100+ countries), we're recruiting a Digital Marketing, Head of Website Transformation for a 12-month FTC (with potential to extend to 3-years). Reporting to the Group Marketing Director, this is a senior position within the Marketing and Communications team and will be key in transforming the website infrastructure for the organisation, leading the selection and implementation of a new CMS, ensuring the chosen platform aligns with marketing strategies and business goals.

This role will oversee the strategic development of a new website ecosystem for the organisation to simplify the domain structure and CMS in use for over 300 business and country specific websites. The goal is to ensure a successful CMS implementation empowers the marketing and communications team to create, manage and optimise content effectively, driving business growth and audience engagement.

Main Duties:

• Create a roadmap for the website ecosystem development, content, and functionality to align with organisation marketing and communication goals
• Act as SRO for procurement and the implementation of a new CMS
• Oversee the transformation of more than 300 business and country-specific websites into a simplified unified domain and CMS structure
• Act as the main point of contact between the Marketing and Comms function and the Digital and Tech teams, providing business context to inform technical requirements of the project

Person Specification:

• Degree or qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Business or demonstrable level of equivalent experience
• 10 years + of related experience across Digital Marketing
• Proven experience in managing complex websites and successful website migration projects with multiple stakeholders, regions and languages
• Leadership of teams both directly and indirectly
• Track record of managing SaaS vendors, and digital marketing agencies
• CIM Marketing competencies including the influence of strategy formulation, and influence of digital strategy
• Education, EdTech, Teaching or Exams sector experience would be highly desirable
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and project management skills
• Experience of CMS ecosystems i.e., Drupal, WordPress, and enterprise CMS platforms
