Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, the PTN is recruiting a Partnerships Manager who will provide management and oversight of key partnerships essential to the delivery of the Network’s Strategic Plan, with a specific focus on the development and delivery of Regional Hubs.

You will have experience of establishing and delivering partnerships; dedicated to social justice; a commitment to collaborative working; and proven management experience.

Key Tasks

• To form part of the Core Leadership Team, providing overall strategic leadership across the Network 
• To manage the Partnership team, setting clear goals and objectives linked to the Strategic Plan 
• To lead on the development and support of Regional Hubs, including support with grant funding and income generation
• To act as the primary point of contact with Regional Hubs, for initial enquiries and ongoing relationships, including with staff and trustees
• To provide oversight of the Network’s Parliamentary work in Westminster and across the devolved administrations
• To oversee the Network’s Learning & Evaluation framework, offering insight and advice as appropriate, ensuring that agreed activities are delivered on time and in budget 
• To be the primary point of contact for partners working alongside the Network to deliver change in line with its Strategic Plan
• To recruit external partners to participate in the Mutual Mentoring programme
• To liaise closely with members of the Amplify Team in the development of national partnerships
• To develop and support work with creative partners to highlight the resilience of those struggling to overcome poverty

The Business Engagement team leads the RSPB’s work with the private sector and plays a central role in the charity’s strategy, working with businesses as agents of change. With a clear strategy and strong ethical foundations, the team are well positioned to raise £15 million through corporate partnerships by 2030 – and this role is central to making this happen.

Reporting into the Head of Business Engagement, you will oversee and grow a portfolio of multi-million-pound, strategic corporate partnerships, and ones that have the potential for this, ensuring they deliver both significant income and deep impact for nature. Partnerships include Tesco, Co-op, Ella’s Kitchen, Cemex and Barratt.

Working closely with the Head of New Business & Impact and the Head of Business Practice & Advocacy, you will deliver on RSPB’s Business Engagement Strategy, which focuses on:

• Investing in nature at scale
• Driving business practice change
• Influencing policy and systems
• Reaching new audiences through customers, employees and B2B engagement

As Head of Partnership Delivery, you will:

• Lead RSPB’s most strategic corporate partnerships, overseeing a portfolio that includes Tesco, Co-op, Cemex and Ella’s Kitchen. These relationships are already delivering conservation impact and income, but there is more potential to unlock.
• Manage and mentor a skilled team of four, with a collaborative, empowering leadership style and people-first approach
• Drive income growth and unlock new value from existing partners – including funding for restoration, nature projects, biodiversity in supply chains, engaging with business customers and employees’ and behaviour change initiatives
• Work across internal teams – including Global Conservation, Country teams, Fair to Nature, Policy & Advocacy, Finance and Communications – to integrate technical expertise and policy influence into our partnerships
• Play an active leadership role across the Business Engagement team and wider RSPB, helping evolve their approach to corporate engagement and championing the role of business in nature recovery

Our partnership in Zambia is six years old. King’s Global Health Partnerships (KGHP) initiated a long-term partnership with Arthur Davison Children’s Hospital and Ndola Teaching hospital, in Ndola province, Zambia. Work in Zambia has focused on maternal and newborn health, breast cancer surgery, antimicrobial stewardship and health worker wellbeing.

KGHP is based within the School of Life Course & Population Sciences. The School of Life Course & Population Sciences is one of five Schools that make up the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine at King’s College London. The School unites experts across 5 departments, Women and Children’s health, Nutritional Sciences, Population Health Sciences, Ophthalmology and Twins & Genetic Epidemiology, overall covering the complexities of life course health & disease from individual cells molecular genetics to whole population level.

About the role

We are looking for a Programme Manager to lead on the management of our current programme activities in Somaliland and Zambia. The role will lead on the management of various grants/ projects within our Somaliland and Zambia partnerships as well as strengthening our partnership approaches in these two countries. The role will be responsible for project closeout, startup of new projects secured as well as developing new funding proposals to support the aims as set out in our partnership and organisational strategies.

1. BSc or MSc in Global Health or International Relations or aligned subject
2. Relevant experience managing multiple projects (including large and complex grants/contracts) throughout the full project cycle, preferably projects delivered by consortiums

4. Financial management and budgeting experience for complex multi-year, multi-partner projects
5. Experience of developing MEL strategies for large and complex programmes, including developing indicators, theories of change, learning processes

• Proactively build a personal portfolio of HNWIs and UHNWIs able to give £1m+ through relationship development, appropriate and dynamic pitching and influencing and negotiating expertise.
• Effectively line manage three direct line reports. Lead by example and support high performance, ensuring the professional and personal development goals of staff are met.

To be successful, you’ll need:  

• Proven track record of raising “Principal gifts” of £1m+.
• Proven ability to manage a successful philanthropic portfolio, achieving targets as part of a strategic plan and maximising income from existing supporters.
• Experience managing the complexities of income management and KPI’s to monitor the teams progress and growth.
• Experience of line management / supervising the work of others; leading and motivating others and driving change.
• Be confident in leading work with senior level stakeholders, both internally and externally, in order to secure significant grants and manage strategic partnerships, using tact and diplomacy.

We're seeking a Planning and Performance Manager to lead the way in developing and embedding new planning and performance management processes to drive delivery of our new and ambitious strategy.

Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Programme Management and working closely with senior managers and teams across the organisation to ensure our strategy is effectively implemented and progress is clearly measured. You'll bring proven experience in developing and implementing planning and performance management processes, a collaborative approach, and the ability to provide an effective bridge between implementation and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage annual planning and performance reporting processes in partnership with the Head of Strategy & Programme Management, the Board, and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
• Align organisational plans with budgets in collaboration with the Finance team.
• Work with senior managers and teams to implement performance measurement systems across the organisation.
• Building effective relationships at all levels across the MND Association, supporting and challenging to drive improvement.
• Develop and maintain organisational KPIs and manage reporting processes, including a Corporate Balanced Scorecard, measuring impact and inform decision-making.
• Produce accurate, clear reports and plans for the ELT and Board on a quarterly basis.
• Build organisational capability and confidence across the Association in partnership with Learning & Development colleagues.
• Collaborate with Governance colleagues to ensure planning is aligned with Board and Committee requirements.
• Represent and promote The Association's behaviours and values throughout your work.

About You:

• Proven experience managing cross-organisational planning and reporting processes in organisations of a similar size and complexity.
• Strong understanding of frameworks such as Balanced Scorecard, dependency planning, and prioritisation tools.
• Ability to work closely with senior leaders to embed planning and performance tools and approaches.
• A strategic thinker who can link implementation detail to broader objectives.
• Skilled in producing clear, well-structured reports and dashboards.
• Comfortable engaging with colleagues across different functions and levels.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will play a vital role in supporting New Horizon Youth Centre’s mission by managing and growing a portfolio of valued corporate partners (>£20k) and supporters (<£20k). They will nurture these relationships to ensure meaningful, long-term support for our work with young people facing homelessness.

This will include organising volunteering days that inspire action, delivering lunch and learn sessions that deepen understanding of our cause, and finding creative ways for partners to make a real difference.
