Key responsibilities of the role:

About the Role

As part of our collaborative Finance Business Partnering team, you’ll support fundraising, communications, advocacy, and activism across Mencap. You’ll provide clear financial advice, insightful analysis, and strong financial management to ensure our fundraising income is used effectively to benefit people with learning disabilities.

Over the next five years Mencap have big ambitions to significantly grow our fundraising income and increase our influencing and campaigning impact to ensure people with a learning disability can live life to the full.

This role is a full time permanent position. There is flexibility around where the role is based. We have large offices in London and Peterborough and smaller offices located throughout the UK.

You will need to travel occasionally for meetings. However, this role will primarily be working remotely.

 

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with directorate teams to create robust budgets and forecasts, offering support and advice for realistic financial planning.
• Providing clear financial reports and analysis to help teams understand results, spot emerging issues, and make informed decisions.
• Supporting complex income forecasting (e.g. legacies), using scenario analysis to guide planning and assess risk.
• Delivering financial analysis and modelling to support investment decisions.
• Ensuring funding applications and management of restricted funds are accurate and compliant.
• Improving finance processes and reporting, including with our new Salesforce fundraising CRM system.

Working with the Social Media Manager, you will help deliver engaging and consistent content across our main channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube - ensuring posts are accurate, timely and aligned with organisational priorities such as fundraising, brand awareness, service marketing, volunteering and influencing. 

Main Responsibilities:

· Content delivery: Support the Social Media Manager by drafting, scheduling, and publishing content across Family Action’s channels, ensuring posts are engaging, accessible, and aligned with organisational priorities.

· Community & performance: Lead community management, monitor trends, gather analytics, and report on performance to help improve engagement.

We're looking for three Communities Development Coordinators to support, develop and grow student-led societies, sports clubs and other communities at Arts SU. This role is all about helping students get involved, whether that's through joining a student group, planning and running events or stepping up as a student leader. You'll be the first point of contact for over 100 student groups, providing tailored support, training and advice to help them thrive. From processing finance requests and booking spaces to helping deliver key events like Welcome Fair, Varsity, and Awards, you'll make sure students and colleagues have what they need to succeed. You'll oversee student group elections, manage the promotion of opportunities, and work with colleagues across UAL to create inclusive spaces where students are welcomed and engaged.

We want someone organised, approachable, and loves working with students. You should have experience planning and delivering events or projects, and ideally some knowledge of community development in education or the third sector. About the Role

The Director of Grants and Operations is a senior role within the Jack Petchey Foundation with responsibility for leading our operations, partnerships and grant-making. You will ensure that our operations are agile, efficient, effective, forward-looking and robust. In addition, you will have strategic responsibility for ensuring our grants and partnerships teams deploy over £10m pa to benefit young people and strengthen the youth sector across London and Essex.

As a member of the Executive Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our ambitious strategy, expanding our impact and investing more through JPF’s proven grants and partnerships. You will work to ensure that JPF programmes benefit more young people, particularly in areas and groups with the greatest need.

We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking leader with a proven track record of building and improving highly effective operations functions within complex organisations. You will bring strategic vision and operational excellence, ensuring that our systems and processes are robust, inclusive and future-focused. With significant experience in digital transformation, financial oversight and people leadership, you will know how to create the infrastructure that enables impact at scale. People and Culture

 Lead, manage, and support staff across the Grants, Partnerships and Operations functions, fostering a

Head of Fundraising and Development

Connect: North Korea is a fast-growing charity supporting North Korean escapees to build new lives after experiences of systemic discrimination, poverty, and trauma. 

Our organisational income has grown consistently year on year since we registered  in 2018. We now have a series of multi-year grants in place ensuring that 42% of our income for 2026 is already secured. But we are ambitious. We want to do more for our community, so we are looking for a new, dynamic Head of Fundraising and Development to lead and deliver income generation as we scale our work in the UK and globally.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a fundraising strategy and plan across all major income streams—trusts and foundations, individual giving, corporate partnerships, and major donors. This role is an exciting mixture of leadership complemented by  day-to-day delivery. You’ll work closely with the CEO and across programme teams to map out our annual fundraising plan, craft compelling cases for support, develop funder relationships, and increase our funding base by 20% in 2026.

• Recruit and support a team of volunteers who help with communications, social media content and community fundraising. 

• Build relationships with major donors, corporates, charitable Trusts and Foundations and other institutional funders

• Attend networking events and meetings with potential donors

• Ensure all fundraising meets the Code of Fundraising Practice, safeguarding standards, GDPR compliant and CNK’s values;

• Report quarterly on fundraising progress to Chief Executive and Board of Trustees
