About the role

Reporting in to the Global Head of Programme Policy and Practice, the Programme & Partnerships Lead is pivotal to the design and impact success of signature programmes. It works closely with Multi Country Clusters (MCC) to do so, including the design of MEAL frameworks to support monitoring and evidence capture. 

Working with MCC leadership the post-holder will identify areas for support and make appropriate links with enabling functions. Across MCC programme portfolios this role will provide support to ensure a coherent application of our partnership principles and alignment with organisational values and goals. 

The role provides leadership to the team which includes MEAL, a Programme Portfolio Advisor, and a Civil Society and Faith specialist to help deliver high-impact programmes with an emphasis on decolonial approaches and methodologies. The role will provide specific support to the development of Christian Aid’s faith based partnerships.

The role spearheads localisation and CSO approach as an underpinning ethos of the new organisational mode.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Programme & Partnerships Lead include:

• Inspire and motivate the team and colleagues in the Programme Policy and Practice division to support MCC’s, to drive meaningful impact.
• Work across Departments to support the design of signature programmes, including building connections across the MCCs, developing an appropriate MEAL framework and ensuring effective reporting and links to Organisational Effectiveness.
• Work with the Global MEAL Advisor and Organisational Effectiveness Department to commission internal and external impact evaluations and research for signature programmes and the wider unrestricted funding portfolio; this will include a focus on decolonial approaches to evaluation.
• With an emphasis on signature programmes work with IPE and MCCs to identify opportunities for the further development of signature programmes.
• Ensure processes and guardrails are in place to support the strategic allocation of resources to MCCs.
• Develop and maintains strong cross sector and internal relationships that fosters cross-functional consensus.
• Collaborate with MCC staff to develop and communicate a clear picture of Christian Aid’s programmatic portfolio, and of delivery of organisational impact that aligns to organisational values and goals

The role

You will play a key role in ensuring that Camden Learning captures and uses data to drive service development and operate more efficiently. This is a newly created position which will support the implementation and ongoing development of a new CRM system, as well as optimising the other systems and platforms we use. You will support teams and wider stakeholders to get access to the data they need by running reports, undertaking basic data analysis and presenting data in an easy to understand way. You will also ensure our ordering processes are as straightforward as possible for our school members and customers, and support with their orders as required.

Key responsibilities

CRM

• Working alongside our development partner, support the successful implementation of a new CRM system
• Ensure the CRM system continues to meet the organisation’s needs, including setting up and owning the process by which colleagues request changes and new features
• Support colleagues to use the system effectively
• Make changes to the system if required and set up reports requested by colleagues. Liaise with development partner if larger changes or new development is required

Other systems and platforms

• Identify, set up and configure other systems and platforms to meet the organisation’s needs. This will include our training booking platform and HR platform.
• Support colleagues and schools to use these systems effectively

Order processes

• Set up and own the processes by which schools place orders for services
• Respond to queries from schools related to subscriptions, orders and pricing
• Work with the Finance Officer to ensure customers are accurately invoiced for services used.

Data reporting, analysis and presentation

• Set up and run regular reports of key information to stakeholders, to include:
  • Camden Learning’s leadership team and board of directors
  • Local authority commissioners
  • Schools
• Undertake regular and adhoc data analysis of data held within our systems, for example training feedback and staff survey
• Present this information in a format suitable for its intended audience

Other

• Liaise with schools, Camden council and other partners to ensure the smooth running of Camden Learning’s services and operations
• Act as a leader of social justice who:
  • Understands the material and economic and social differences between different groups.

Your ability to establish credibility and foster trust across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders will be key to your success. A professional background or personal interest in STEM will be important although you do not need to be a Chemistry or sciences graduate: we are looking for an enthusiast for knowledge!

About Us

The Bike Project is an award-winning charity which refurbishes second hand bikes and donates them to refugees.  We were founded in 2013 by, Jem Stein, after he struck up a friendship and found a bike for Adam, a Darfuri refugee who had fled his home in Sudan after war broke out.

The Bike Project has grown into a national operation with new CEO, hundreds of volunteers, a team of 20 committed staff, roadshows in different cities, an online shop and two workshops, one in the capital and one in Birmingham.

To date we have supported over 15,000 refugees and people seeking asylum by giving them a second-hand bike. In addition, we have supported hundreds through our programmes designed to build confidence and build friendships in the local community.

Duites and Responsibilities 

This role will provide maternity cover for an initial period of 12 months, with the potential for a 1–2 month extension. It will focus on developing new corporate partnerships and managing relationships with our existing corporate supporters.The role holder will work closely with the Chief Executive and Head of Fundraising, Marketing and Retail to ensure a strategic approach to the development and management of relationships with our corporate partners, enabling us to maximise the potential from them.

As well as leading income generation, the post will develop current and new corporate partnerships, providing personalised stewarding journeys.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of securing income directly from corporates for charity, both winning and securing new partnerships as well as maintaining and developing existing supporters. They will be able to prioritise, manage pipelines, research, pitch and manage partnerships to increase their value.

Location

Hybrid, with one day a week working from our London (Brixton) office. Occasional travel required to Birmingham, evening or weekend work.

The Role

The Executive Director will lead the Lincolnshire Social Outcomes Partnership CIC (LSOP CIC), driving its mission to improve health outcomes and reduce inequalities across Lincolnshire. This is a strategic and operational leadership role, responsible for managing partnerships, governance, and delivery of the organisation’s innovative Community Transformation Fund and Anchor Programme.

We are looking for someone with experience of:

About the Role

The Management Accountant will work closely with the Head of Finance to enhance financial services and provide supportive management accounting at Solace. You will work alongside the Assistant Management Accountants to produce accurate and timely internal and external financial reports. 

The Management Accountant will have line management responsibilities for the two Assistant Management Accountants.

In this role, you will prepare monthly income and expenditure reports for more complex allocated projects and the organisation as a whole, the monthly cashflow, funder reports and lead on the preparation of the budget and half yearly forecasting. You will ensure that management accounts are produced within established deadlines with commentary of financial reporting variances. You you will meet regularly with budget holders and be able to explain the accounts to non-finance colleagues. Provide project terms and financial information to the Director of Finance and Business Support and Head of Finance.

As part of your support to our business development plans you will provide fast responses to requests for support for pricing of new bids, grant applications, tenders and provision of other relevant financial information.

As part of the annual statutory reporting you will assist and support in the preparation of the year-end close and audit.

At all times you will support the Head of Finance to develop a business partnering approach between Finance and the widder organisation.

About You

The successful candidate will be a nearly or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CCAB) or qualified by experience and desirably with knowledge of charity SORP reporting requirements, with charity experience on multi projects accounting.

Able to produce accurate reporting on timely manner and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong team player as well as working independently. Can work with non-finance budget holders with clear communication skills. Have strong knowledge of Excel and of working with finance systems.

This role is essential in our drive for evidencing the impact of the work we do. You will lead and manage a large-scale, multi-organisation piece of research aiming to highlight the impact of our programmes.
