Brief role description
The Key Account Manager will drive employer engagement across the Technology and Manufacturing Sectors.
In this role you will build and develop strategic relationships with employers to create high-quality career opportunities for the Armed Forces community, including Service Leavers, Veterans, Reservists and their families. You will play a key part in connecting talented individuals with forward-thinking organisations while shaping sector-specific pathways aligned to future workforce needs.
You will shape and deliver an insight-led employer engagement approach that reflects sector needs, creating meaningful opportunities across a range of roles while building strong talent pipelines. The role will also involve targeted campaigns and representing the organisation through high-quality events and engagement activities that connect employers with the Armed Forces community.
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role you will need to have extensive experience in business development and networking and have a comprehensive understanding of recruitment and selection.
You will need to be a motivated self-starter, with an ability to deliver output against demanding schedules. You will also need to have strong presentation and administrative skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate empathy and an understanding of the Armed Forces community, including the unique challenges and strengths related to their employability. They will also have experience in marketing and public relations and be resilient, adaptable and capable of managing the demands of the role with a proactive approach.
Although this is a home-based role, you should be based within a reasonable commuting distance to London to attend key meetings, networking events and employer engagements as required.

About the role
The engagement directorate is responsible for growing awareness, trust and engagement with Breast Cancer Now - so more people get support and give support. It leads the £47m we raise annually today and our ambition to grow this to £69m by 2029/30, alongside a new £60m Campaign.

Working closely with the senior high value insight & experience manager, the high value insight & experience manager will help develop a consistent approach to gathering and using insight, shaping engagement across both everyday activity and campaign delivery. The high value insight & experience manager will play a hands-on role in delivering cultivation, stewardship and recognition activity - supporting events, experiences, communications and key supporter touchpoints. This includes developing a strong suite of engagement opportunities for high value audiences and helping ensure supporters feel valued, recognised and connected to the impact of their support.

Primary location of role and hybrid working

Trusts and Foundations Manager

This role will focus on securing income from Trusts and Foundations from first engagement to account management, delivery and reporting.

We are looking for an exceptional writer, someone who can translate the impact of our work into proposals that inspire and motivate the reader to give.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping First Give’s income growth, working closely with our Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships and the Director to manage relationships with existing donors, and leading on the development of high value bids to expand our work. This role will also support key engagement activities, including hosting donors at student-led Final events and facilitating employee volunteering at schools.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident communicator and grant fundraiser with experience managing and deepening relationships with high value trusts and foundations gifts – someone who thrives on storytelling and social impact. Role Description
Volunteering Matters Brighter Futures CEC works with pupils (aged 12-18) who are care experienced or on the edge of care across the City of Edinburgh.
The project has two parts, one is to work one to one with the young people referred to the project, supporting them to experience a volunteering placement with local charitable organisations that will build their confidence and allow them to grow and learn new things in a different environment out with school.
The second part is our group work, the Youth Engagement Manager will be responsible for up to 7 small groups within schools across Edinburgh.The Youth Engagement Manager supports the young people engaged in the groups to develop and deliver a Youth Social Action project within their community.
We’re looking for a patient and engaging Youth Engagement Manager to join the Brighter Futures team in Edinburgh. The right candidate would be someone who can work flexibly and demonstrate an understanding and total commitment to our organisational values and strategy.
Due to the nature of this role and the needs of the young people we support, including the requirement to provide appropriate support and engagement for young males with complex experiences, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the postholder to be male under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.

Location
This role is based in Edinburgh, a large part of your hours will require you to work within the community and schools, for the other hours you will have the opportunity to work from home. The postholder will require good internet access to enable remote working, and a suitable home office space. I.T. equipment and infrastructure will be supplied.
