The role
To engage with and develop productive working relationships with the BDF membership helping to further their disability agenda over time using our knowledge, member services and paid for products where appropriate. Disability Business Partners have direct responsibility for their assigned Members and are expected to ensure each of their Members uses the members services available most appropriate to them and takes opportunities to introduce our paid for services where it is beneficial to the Member.
As an organisation BDF are a hybrid working organisation, though fully remote working would be an option.
The requirement
- Track record of successfully providing paid for solutions meeting agreed financial targets.
- Experience of providing support and advice to experienced professionals.
- Experience of working in or with business (private sector).
- Able to maintain accurate data collection records and recognise the importance of such.
- Able to priorities a full contact list and workload.

The Business Development team is a recently established and growing team at Frontline. The team is responsible for delivering and developing high-quality leadership programmes, workforce development training, and commissioned projects that support practitioners and leaders across the children’s social care sector. As Business Development Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the effective delivery of Frontline’s leadership development programmes and workforce development training offers. You will provide high-quality administrative, operational and project support across the Business Development team, working closely with the Business Development Manager and Programme Manager to ensure smooth programme delivery and excellent participant experiences.
Your responsibilities will include supporting communications, logistics, resource management, scheduling, and data tracking. This is a key role for an organised, proactive and collaborative individual who is passionate about supporting work that improves leadership and practice across the children’s social care sector.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Providing operational and administrative support for the delivery of leadership development
- Drafting and managing participant communications, including joining instructions, programme updates, feedback surveys, and certificates.
- Supporting project planning, risk tracking, and logistics mapping for leadership and training offers.
- Assisting with reporting tasks, information collation, and maintenance of project documentation.

This pivotal role involves driving earned income, managing financial health, and expanding the reach of their therapeutic arts programs across South Wales and the UK.
The Business Manager will oversee the operational and financial management of the charity, ensuring the organisation is efficient, sustainable, and aligned with its mission. They will focus on earned income generation and working to increase it in line with the business plan. They will be outward-facing, generating new business with local authorities, care providers, schools, hospitals and hospices.
