POST: Healthy Relationships Project Worker
RESPONSIBLE TO: Senior Project Worker
HOURS: 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 9am - 10pm Monday to Sunday, (flexibility is expected to suit the needs of the project and young people)
Once a successful probation period of 3 months is completed the option to opt into our 4 day working week is implemented.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Healthy Relationship Worker will be responsible for supporting both young people and families around topics relating to relationships and sexual health through delivery of one to one and group work support.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide a support service to young people across Cardiff, working in partnership with statutory and voluntary professionals to ensure young people are supported with their sexual health and relationship needs.
• To plan, deliver and evaluate one to one and group activities which support the sexual health and wellbeing of young people in Cardiff, with a particular focus on vulnerable young people and those at risk.
• To have a good understanding of current issues affecting young people with a focus on relationships, teenage pregnancy and risk factors associated with teenage pregnancy
• Support with the admin and coordination of the C-Card scheme.
• Work with local and national partners to support young people to gain access to appropriate information and advice in relation to relationships and sexual health.
• To maintain records and provide reports to funders and senior management as necessary
• Promotion of the service to relevant partners in health, education and social services, to include an active social media presence.
• To maintain accurate records of young people accessing the service and statistical information, to allow effective evaluation for funders.
• To attend various staff group/team meetings both internal and external.
• To attend any identified training as agreed with the line manager.
• To adhere to and comply with all organisational policies and procedures.
• To be able to respect the Christian ethos of the YMCA and uphold its values

The Bone Cancer Research Trust launched a dedicated Support Service in 2019, in response to feedback from our community. Over the last 5 years, the Service has seen a significant increase in reach. Independent Advocate Requirements:
· Strong communication and time management skills to successfully work remotely.

Desirable:

In this new role, you’ll ensure Kidney Research UK has access to and uses external health data effectively to provide high-quality evidence and insight to a wide audience and remains intelligence-led across all its operations.
The post-holder will deliver a core health data intelligence service, ensuring the Policy, Programmes and Communications Teams, along with the wider staff group, have access to a wide range of high-quality health analytics assets. The role will lead on delivering discrete pieces of original quantitative analysis, along with supporting analytics work led by other team members. The role will also involve supporting or leading the delivery of any required data analysis or health economics work, as required.
This will include the management of our health statistics sign-off process, reviewing other colleagues’ use of quantitative health data evidence for external-facing resources and leading on commissioned health economics projects.
A commitment to continuous learning and a collaborative spirit is key. You'll possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with experience in Microsoft 365 applications, ideally including Power BI, Excel, and SharePoint. Confidence querying databases is equally important, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of data owners and stakeholders.
The ability to showcase insights through clear and informative visualisations - charts, tables, and dashboards - is essential for both internal and external audiences.

Oasis Ashburton Park are now in a position to employ an experienced Youth Development Lead to work alongside wider team in Croydon. The role will be focussed on the Ashburton Park area (surrounding Oasis Academies; Arena, Shirley Park and Ryeland’s) working closely with the academies as part of Oasis Ashburton Park and the ‘100 Years of Ashburton Park’ Project funded by The Heritage Lottery Fund.
As a Youth Development Lead you will;
- Develop and oversee a Youth Advisory Panel to ensure that youth voice is central to the design of our Youth Engagement Programme and the 360 Youth Centre.
- Develop and oversee the Youth Engagement Programme as part of the ‘100 years of Ashburton Park Project’ including a range of activities in and nearby to Ashburton Park, including after school drop-in’s, evening sessions, group work and one-one mentoring.
- Support the development and engagement of young people in a Food Growing Enterprise based at Ashburton Lodge.
- Work closely with Croydon Council and other partners to support young people to engage with a wide range of programmes and activities that are part of the ‘100 years of Ashburton Park Project’.
- Deliver open access sessions, group and one to one interventions with young people including; half term, afterschool, evenings and residentials, using a planned youth work curriculum.
- Line manage youth workers, sessional youth workers and youth volunteers to plan, deliver and evaluate youth work termly.
- Contribute to the development of youth work across the area and lead on specific areas of work on behalf of the team.
Amongst other requirements, the successful post holder must have:
· Relevant experience OR qualification in Youth & Community (JNC), Social Work (QSW) or SEND.
· Proven experience working with young people ‘at risk’.
· Reliability, with a flexible approach to changes and able to work unsociable hours.
· Experience of project and/or people management

As we celebrate our 16th Birthday year, We Are Survivors are currently looking for an individual that has the passion, drive and determination to help us deliver our OUT Spoken Talking Therapy Services (prison based).
We Are Survivors provide survivor-focused therapeutic and advocacy support to male (including Trans and Non-binary) victims/survivors, and their loved ones, of sexual harms. We have developed a three-tiered approach to services and underpin everything we do with a ‘trauma and recovery’ framework pioneered by Dr Judith Herman.
We are currently commissioned to deliver trauma-informed therapy services in 15 prisons across the Northwest of England and we need your help delivering these services in:
· HMP Haverigg (Part-time – 2 days per week)
Believe you are right for this role?
You will be a qualified counsellor / psychotherapist who holds at least a Diploma in Counselling / Psychotherapy or equivalent and be registered with BACP or equivalent (preferably an accredited member). You will understand issues relating to trauma, be able to work as part of a team and feel confident working in a prison setting.
In return for your time, experience, and commitment to the organisation, you will receive an annual salary of £11,124.00; annual leave and bank holiday package; annual length of service increase; birthday leave; company sick pay; monthly clinical supervision; pension contribution; a range of training opportunities; and access to different benefit schemes.
Note: salary and annual leave is based on WTE.
