Managing the team of People Business partners and working closely with People Operations, Resourcing, and Development areas of the People team to anticipate workforce needs and future challenges and as part of the team drive cultural and operational transformation. They will also work with their own client group of departments as a Business Partner.

The successful candidates will have the following:  

• CIPD level 5 qualified or equivalent level of experience

• Significant experience in developing and implementing HRBP models or equivalent frameworks.

• Experience of working in a senior HR Business partner role in an organisation with a diverse range of departmental needs

• Experience of advising and managing complex employee relations matters

• Substantial experience of developing client department specific knowledge while maintaining a consistent approach to people interventions

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1 .VOLUNTEER CO-ORDINATOR LEVEL I & LEVEL II I)

To lead and motivate all Volunteer Co-coordinators Level I & Level II on a day-to-day basis to ensure they are properly trained and competent to deliver the appropriate level and quality of service to all petitioners when handling any request for help. II) Once identified, to refer any difficult and problematic cases to the CEO or the Community Service Manager for prompt action and feedback. III) To work closely with the Community Service manager and volunteer coordinators Level II to ensure delivery of our on-call emergency service both midweek and weekends and deputise for the Community Service Manager in her absence and time off.

IV) In collaboration with the Community Service Manager, to appropriately schedule the out of hours rota to ensure cover at all times for our emergency service.

V) To be contactable out of hours, if needed over the evenings and weekends.

VI) To ensure a Monday morning debrief with the Community Service Manager and weekend coordinator, to log, discuss and resolve any issues that have arisen.

VII) To manage and develop a mentoring scheme for volunteer coordinators Level I to enable them, in time, to progress to a Level II role.

VIII) To mentor all volunteer coordinators Level II to ensure they are reaching their targets and sustaining an excellent level of service.

2.THE SUPPORT TEAM

I) To lead and motivate a team of individuals to ensure an outstanding level of support is provided throughout all communications across the entire support team.

II) To support and mentor the Community Support Manager to help facilitate the delivery of a smooth, coherent and first class service to everyone we help.

III) To ensure any problems with volunteers are quickly identified, addressed and referred if needed for extra assistance.

3.OTHER

I) To ensure all relevant correspondence and communications across the Community Service Department are answered promptly and sympathetically.

II) To produce weekly reports for the Chief Executive in collaboration with the Community Service Manager, to detail work of the team that is, especially happy, unhappy, unusual, interesting, serendipitous etc.

III) To liaise with all other members of The Trust in a flexible manner.

IV) To be familiar with and adhere to procedures and protocols, disciplinary and applicable rules and ensure compliance with legislation (Health and Safety, Date Protection, especially the privacy of members, petitioners and volunteers alike).

Can you help us keep changing lives and breaking the cycle of reoffending for good? With demand for our work continuing to grow, we are excited to be welcoming a Fundraising Manager to join our team.

In this role you’ll work closely with our CEO and operations team to deliver our annual fundraising targets, focusing on trusts and foundations, major donor and corporate giving and the occasional fundraising event/external opportunity.

We are a small staff team with a large cohort of volunteers and we are all passionate and committed to our mission to stop reoffending and ensuring the best outcomes for the men we support.  We don’t have an office and staff are either home based or work in one of the prisons, depending on their role.  We stay connected through regular team meetings (online and in person), 1-1 line management support and ongoing training. This post would be home based but you will need to be able to travel to attend occasional meetings in London, West Midlands and Oxfordshire.

This is new role for Trailblazers, and we are looking for someone whose values align with the charities and believes in the impact of our work. You will be proactive, a good communicator, with a talent for building relationships and full of ideas.  You will be experienced in all aspects of trusts and foundations fundraising which is the main source of income for the charity.  Experience of diversifying income streams, major donor/corporate giving and creative ways of engaging new and existing donors would also be required.  You’ll have the freedom to shape and implement your own systems and processes and lead on developing a fundraising strategy, with full support from the CEO and wider team.

You will be accountable for an income target across Legacy and In Memory giving. This will involve understanding the market in which you operate, including the motivations and drivers behind this type of support, and using insight to inform strategy, campaigns, and stewardship activity.

You will be confident in working with senior managers, directors, and trustees, as well as building strong external relationships with solicitors, Will writers, and professional advisers. Through these partnerships, you will help secure long-term, sustainable funding and ensure St Barnabas Hospice can continue to provide compassionate care to people living with life-limiting and terminal illness throughout Lincolnshire.

Foodbank Manager

VC&RFB is seeking a compassionate and strategic Foodbank Manager to lead their Foodbank provision across multiple sites. This is a significant role at the heart of their mission, often serving as the first point of contact for individuals and families at their most vulnerable moments. You'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality delivery, warm relational support, strong volunteer leadership, and a consistent, dignifying experience for every guest.

In this pivotal role, you'll provide leadership and supervision for the Assistant Foodbank Manager, Satellite Foodbank Leaders and volunteer teams, ensuring consistent high-quality standards across all sites. Working closely with the Operations Manager and wider team, you'll oversee all aspects of Foodbank operations including guest provision, volunteer coordination, data management through the Trussell Data Collection System, and product storage across multiple sites. You'll maintain strong relationships with referral partners, churches, schools, businesses and community groups, representing the Foodbank as a positive ambassador for the charity.

A particularly exciting aspect of this role is leading the development, setup and launch of VC&RFB's new Community Essentials Hub. This important initiative will expand the "Hope for Life" aspect of the mission, offering guests access to low-cost food and essentials provision, wider support, and opportunities to participate, volunteer and contribute. You'll help shape this new model, establish operational systems, develop partnerships with organisations such as 'Your Local Pantry', and create opportunities for former guests to be part of the running of the service.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Excellent relationship-building skills with experience supervising staff and/or volunteers
• Strong organisational skills, with experience in organising or coordinating activities, rotas or service delivery
• Experience supporting people facing vulnerability, poverty, or crisis
• Some experience contributing to new or developing services
