The Sentencing Academy, established in 2019, has made significant strides in advocating for effective sentencing practices and enhancing the understanding of sentencing among professionals and the public. What We Offer

The Sentencing Academy is currently a remote organisation although attendance at regular meetings in London will be essential. The salary for this post is £70,000 pro rata.

The Role
What will I be doing?
You’ll be responsible for a range of activities, including:
- Designing and delivering a business plan that delivers on IOP's strategic ambitions and strengthens participation of the physics community in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Seeking advice from the IOP Ireland Committee and charity to ensure the business plan is in alignment with the strategy and meets the needs of the Irish and Northern Irish physics community.
- Building and leading a team and budget to deliver and report on high quality and high impact programmes and projects.
- Acting as secretariat for the Irish charity Board, supporting the officers, curating the agenda, and liaising with the Chief Executive Officer, Directors and Governance Team to ensure the Board operates efficiently and compliantly.
- Providing counsel and support to the Ireland Committee to enable its work to remain aligned with the IOP strategy.
- Building and maintaining relationships with IOP members, existing IOP stakeholders and developing new relationships that will enable the delivery of IOP’s strategy.

YDMTCL currently delivers landscape design services through a team of two Landscape Architects, working across urban, rural and community regeneration projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly, supportive Business Support Team and play a central part in delivering high quality printing and posting services that make a real difference to people affected by dementia.
As a Business Support Print Officer, you will help run a busy and reliable Print Room that supports colleagues across the Dementia Support and Partnerships Directorate and beyond. You will produce a wide range of printed materials that meet our brand guidelines and reflect the professionalism and compassion that Alzheimer’s Society stands for.
Your work will help ensure that people living with dementia, their families and carers receive clear, timely and accessible information from the services they rely on. You will also support the success of Alzheimer’s Society events and groups by providing the materials needed to promote, inform and guide participants.
The role also occasionally includes digitising paper records so that important information is stored securely and can be accessed appropriately. You will work carefully and in line with our information governance and data protection requirements.
This is a role with real purpose, contributing directly to earlier diagnosis, better support and improved outcomes for people affected by dementia. There will also be opportunities each year to come together in person as part of the wider Business Support team to build relationships, share learning and shape our service.
Important:
- This role requires on-site working from our Alzheimer’s Society office in Plymouth (Plumer House, Tailyour Rd, Plymouth, PL6 5FS). You will need to be able to travel to and from this base.
- We are pleased to offer this role as a permanent opportunity with a 28 hour weekly contract currently available, offering some flexibility in how your working hours are arranged so the role can fit alongside your personal commitments.

About the Role:
