Job Summary
The Haringey Community Alliance Manager is responsible for leading the development of the VCS Capacity Building strategy and the effective co-ordination of the Community Alliance team which includes a Communications and Engagement Officer, a Workplace Development Manager, and a Capacity Building Manager.
We envisage the Haringey Community Alliance Manager performing at either a primarily operational level or, for a more experienced candidate, at both operational and strategic levels. The salary range reflects this, with the upper end of the salary range reserved for candidates who can demonstrate an ability to deliver at both the operational and strategic levels.
Operationally, the postholder will have specific management responsibility for co-developing priorities for local VCS funding and capacity building, as well as the Volunteer Centre and wider VCS community of practice. Strategically, the role would include a wider contribution to the strategic management and development of Public Voice, supporting the CEO as required. Who we are
The problem - On average, 160 young people are excluded from school each week. Once excluded, prospects for these young people are bleak, with only 4% achieving good GCSE grades, and 67% entering sustained education, employment or training compared to 96% of their non-excluded peers. This can be a pipeline to prison, with concerning statistics showing 63% of prisoners having been excluded from school.
Our mission - To ensure that young people who have been excluded from school are not excluded from society.
Who we serve - We support the hardest to reach young people in the most disadvantaged communities, each of whom are most at risk of experiencing school exclusion or are at risk of being excluded. Young people who are eligible for free school meals are 4x more likely to get excluded, along with black Caribbean boys. Young people with special educational needs are also six times as likely to be excluded as their peers.
Our work - We work in a number of different settings both during term time and after school. Our coaches lead small groups of 8-10 young people, using sport as a hook and mentorship as an anchor to develop their soft skills, as well as improve their physical & mental wellbeing. This, coupled with exposure to the work place through Career Taster Days, raises their aspirations and puts young people in a better position to enter sustained education, employment or training (EET) when they leave school.

Community Fundraising Officer – Temporary Position from May 24 for 6 months (£24-25k)

We’re building our new fundraising team and this temporary role will play an important part in accelerating our ambitious plans to increase annual income during 2024/25.
You will become the fourth member of the Fundraising Team (there are 3 full time staff) and will help to support the fundraising team.
Sepsis is the immune system’s overreaction to an infection or injury. There are over 245,000 cases each year in the UK with approximately 48,000 deaths. UKST aims to reduce preventable deaths from this ‘killer’ condition. We achieve this by:
· Raising awareness
· Supporting those affected by sepsis
· Educating health professionals
· Lobbying political organisations for better sepsis and severe infection care
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver supporter journeys i.e. fundraising resources and stewardship communications to maximise supporter numbers, retention and engagement.
2. Use UKST’s CRM system (Raiser’s Edge) to accurately capture fundraiser information and key data contributing to the improved development and implementation of fundraising processes.
3. Communicate proactively and effectively with team members to pass on all relevant information, deliver excellent supporter care and to maximise fundraising opportunities.

Role Purpose
The Community Engagement Manager (Maternity Cover) role will be a critical piece of our Community Programmes team, which provides support to founders at every stage of their startup journey. The Community Programme offering includes a roster of events including panels, masterclasses and workshops, as well as mentoring and coaching opportunities, and peer-to-peer engagement opportunities. This is a pivotal role to support NASP’s strategic aims to promote and spread social prescribing at a local, national, and international level.

Finance
- Act as first point of contact for Finance enquiries, both internally and externally

Conservation Collective (CC) funds solutions to protect the environment, restore nature, and safeguard against climate change. The CC UK charity incubates, launches, and supports locally focused foundations, which open new funding channels to support the most impactful environmental grassroots projects. We manage and monitor our donor relations, grant giving governance, contacts, and event activities, via a bespoke and customised salesforce system. This was launched in September 2021, and has been developed and configured to meet our growing needs since then. As the demand for our model increases around the world, we need a highly capable systems specialist to support us to ensure our data systems are well managed, users are trained, and we can create accurate reports for our donors and other audiences. The role will report to the Finance Director and will work closely with the rest of the team. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Salesforce System: maintenance, training, development, and reporting
Maintenance
· Ensure key objects on Salesforce such as accounts, contacts, campaigns and grants are working effectively (ensure process flows work well).
· Maintain reliable records in all objects on Salesforce by eliminating duplicates monthly, processing user deletion requests and updating records for lists with up-to-date information on key stakeholders (e.g. trustees, contractors etc).

About You:
The Client Services team is looking for an account executive to build and manage relationships with clients and help them to deliver exceptional supporter-led fundraising. You will be an experienced account executive or account manager working with outsourced business processes for a minimum of 2 years.
You will need to have strong organisation and communication skills, experience of managing workflows, and a high level of emotional intelligence. You’ll also need an eye for detail; be able to meet deadlines; have excellent written skills; and be a great communicator and able to form relationships with staff and clients. It’ll help if you’re technically savvy and able to keep on top of our clients’ needs.

Return Fundraising was founded in 2015 with a clear mission: to bring together professional charity and agency fundraisers to improve the voice of telephone fundraising. We’ve been growing ever since: pioneering supporter-led fundraising with genuine conversations and long-term relationships.
Now, with new products gaining momentum and the business attracting new clients, we are again planning to expand our team, and are looking for the very best to jump aboard. The Client Services team is looking for an account executive to build and manage relationships with clients and help them to deliver exceptional supporter-led fundraising.
Main responsibilities:

Develop strong relationships with clients and proactively keep in regular contact, particularly by phone and in person

Reporting to clients on the performance of their campaign and being a point of contact for clients during their campaigns

Liaising between the client, the client services director and the operations team

Work with your line manager to deliver client projects on time and on budget and with the exceptional supporter-led fundraising that Return Fundraising is known

Use our project management system to manage workflow, including schedules for your projects, keeping them updated and making sure everything is on track.

Support the management team with scoping, costing and estimating projects

Help grow the business by identifying new opportunities; speaking to potential clients, organising introduction meetings, and working with your line manager to research clients, develop ideas and prepare proposals

Administrative support to the team, including preparing minutes and agendas, campaign review documents and other administrative tasks
Skills and Experience
Essential:

At least 2 years’ experience of working as an account manager or executive

Ability to be organised and keep on top of deadlines

Develop strong relationships with clients and proactively keep in regular contact, particularly by phone and in person

Work effectively under pressure and deal with conflicting priorities

Excellent communication skills
