Working Well is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health, learning disabilities, neurodiversity, and/or complex issues through training and employment.

We are recruiting a full-time Employment Support Worker for our supported employment team in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. This is a permanent role. The post holder will carry a caseload of clients who may have one or more support needs including:

• Learning Disabilities

• Autism 

• Mental Health

The focus of the role is to support clients to achieve their employment goals, engaging with employers and training providers to secure vocational outcomes in line with client preferences.

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our commitment to supporting people to find the right job for them. Experience working with individuals affected by learning disabilities and autism would be beneficial. The successful candidate must be comfortable in approaching employers, persuading them to use our service, and working with them to recruit our clients to fill vacancies and sustain employment.

You will work closely with referring teams, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led.  You will also be in working to targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service. 

We are operating a hybrid working model in our Kingston team, with a combination of working from home and in the community with a required 3 days per week spent in our Kingston office. 

Staff benefits include an employer contribution to a personal or workplace pension equivalent to 6% of gross salary. 30 days annual leave plus paid public holidays.

Grove Court is 24 hours 12 bed registered Residential Care Home. This service supports male and female residents with severe mental illness.

How you will make a difference:

• I ensure the delivery of safe, personalised services to each individual service user through assessment, person-centred planning and regular outcome focused reviews of services. 
• I ensure the development of aspirational support planning for individual residents.
• I ensure safe systems of work, such as personal safety and lone working; and compliance with all Rethink Mental Illness’ safety policies and systems. 
• I develop the quality of information recorded on Rethink Information System (RIS) and support staff in their use of RIS and the culture of person-centred support planning. 
• I ensure effective incident and accident management recording on Hive in line with legislation and contractual requirements, adhering to internal policies and procedures and regulatory notifications. 
• I maximise service user experience through developing an effective complaints management culture and recording on Hive in line with internal policies and procedures 
• I take a safeguarding lead role in the service, ensuring effective safeguarding practice and reporting. Establishing effective professional relationship with the safeguarding team.
• I provide effective line management to staff, including dealing with conduct, performance and attendance issues under relevant policies and procedures. 
• I recruit the best talent, managing the recruitment of staff as the selection panel leader, ensuring compliance with Recruitment & Selection policy and Equality legislation. 

Some of the essential skills and experience required:

• I have achieved (or working towards) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care or the equivalent.
• 2 years relevant experience in an operational management capacity in a health/social care setting. 
• Knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and standards for CQC registered services, including the need for the management and delivery of person-centred services. 
• Experience of providing effective supervision, leadership and management of staff. 
• Must have experience of directly working with people with a severe mental illness.
• Must have experience of working within statutory agencies.

The Programme Manager role will report to the Senior Programme Manager and sit within the Programmes Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership and supervision to a number of therapeutic services within Richmond Borough Mind. Our developed and respected Psychotherapy and Counselling Service has been providing long-term counselling interventions to local residents since 1988. The service is self-funded and offers a range of therapies which aim to provide individuals with the support and opportunity to work through their difficulties in depth with a skilled and experienced trainee or fully qualified therapist. Sliding scale rates are offered to make sure that we are accessible to all. We also run a number of therapeutic, psychoeducational, support and peer-led one to one sessions and groups, training workshops and other activities.

We are looking for a skilled and qualified (or in advance training) counselling supervisor to provide clinical supervision, leadership, management and service development of our Psychotherapy and Counselling service. Knowledge and understanding of a number of modalities would be an asset.  Part of the role will be to help us achieve and maintain BACP or equivalent service accreditation and to grow the service.

As well as having an empathy with the core values of RB Mind, the successful applicant will be a confident and versatile communicator with outstanding relationship-building, organisational and problem-solving skills, and have the ability to provide empathy and guided support to staff, volunteer counsellors, administrators and clients. About the role

You will assist the Shop Manager in the recruitment, support and development of a strong community focused shop team and empower them to maximise Shelter's income. Representing Shelter in your local community, ensuring that you and your team share your knowledge of Shelter's cause with customers, volunteers, donors and potential Shelter clients will also be important aspects of the role. You will always ensure a safe, clean, bright and happy environment for your team to work in and for your customers to shop in, in turn attracting potential donors and volunteers.

Your extraordinary motivational skills will enable you to inspire your team to increase sales and control costs. Above all, you are ready to take on a new challenge and have a keen interest in Shelter's cause.

St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, supporting and enabling them to access and receive physical and mental health first aid. Job Summary

Working with communications and fundraising colleagues, the Celebrity & Influencer Relations Manager will attract, engage and develop new and existing relationships with high profile individuals to enhance our external brand and create and share compelling stories about St John and our work.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Significant experience of working closely with high-profile individuals and talent managers to deliver meaningful engagement. 
• Previous experience of successfully creating and executing a strategy for enhancing a brand through engaging celebrities and high-profile individuals 
• Experience of utilising audience insight and landscape awareness to identify suitable celebrities/influencers to enhance our brand development. 
• Experience of working within the not-for-profit sector 
• A collaborative, creative style with excellent written and verbal communication skills

 About the Role 

• Lead the implementation of a celebrity strategy and engagement plan to establish, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with high profile individuals
• Work with the Brand & Communications and Fundraising teams to proactively identify and grow relationships with talent that broadens our reach as a charity 
• Develop creative concepts which can be used to engage celebrities and amplify their involvement across multiple channels and platforms. Draft briefing notes for celebrities, quotes and press releases about their activity. 
• Review existing relationships with high profile supporters and assess where there are opportunities to leverage these relationships to help deliver St John strategic messages. 
• Develop and participate in a network of counterparts at other charities to maintain a focus on continual improvement and innovation within this field in relation to high profile supporters and upskill St John People to spot opportunities for celebrity engagement.

As Supporter Engagement Officer you’ll play a key role in helping us to engage new and existing supporters as well as helping to deliver first-class stewardship to retain support and build trust. Being a confident communicator with a “can-do” approach is essential as well as being able to demonstrate proven administrative skills, the ability to manage a varied workload and be highly organised.
