Today, one person every two minutes is diagnosed with leprosy. It’s a disease of poverty, striking the most vulnerable. Left untreated, it causes permanent disability. Stigma means that people affected by this disease are often rejected by those closest to them and excluded from basic services. 

Within our dynamic programmes team, you’ll be working alongside supportive colleagues who are passionate about ending leprosy and transforming lives. We have a culture of learning and growing together and will provide training in best practice, ensuring excellence in all we do. You will have at least three years’ work experience in an international development programming role or similar setting (ideally in the global South), with a degree in a relevant discipline. You will have monitoring, evaluation and research skills, with the capacity to work on your own initiative and will be an excellent cross-cultural communicator. We are particularly interested to hear from people with expertise in disability services, public health, research, quality assurance, or social enterprise development. However, those with experience in community development and working in fragile states would also be most welcome to apply.

You will be responsible for the development of UK-funded programmes, supporting the capacity development of overseas partners and managing income streams from large donors. In addition, you will champion our work on the global stage and engage in national and global advocacy on Neglected Tropical Diseases (including leprosy), global health and disability issues. This will require travel overseas for approximately eight weeks per year.

Homeless Link is the national membership charity for frontline homeless agencies in England. In this role, you will be the face of our friendly and passionate Supporter Engagement Team. Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Be the positive, passionate face and first point of contact for the Supporter Led Fundraising (SLF) team.

· Build first-class and long-term relationships through telephone calls and emails with our supporters to ensure they have the best fundraising experience at Alzheimer’s Research UK.

· Provide central stewardship support to a remote-based team of Regional Fundraising Officers (RFOs) to ensure effective delivery of the SLF strategy and budget.

· Provide administrative support for the whole of the SLF team, primarily to the home-based RFOs.

· Support the Sporting Events Team with recruitment and stewardship of events. 

· Work with our Corporate Teams to effectively steward our partner companies.

· Ensure consistent cross-working to identify potential opportunities in current and prospective supporters for long lasting relationships across all teams.

· As one of the key fundraising contacts, keep the managers and team up to date with supporter feedback.

· Provide central communications within the organisation on behalf of the team, updating them on upcoming events and projects.

· Attend a variety of events to engage with and cheer on supporters including golf days, regional events and sporting events.

Administrative Support

· Process material requests from fundraising supporters, offering appropriate support while considering charity cost.

· Provide support on fundraising email inboxes e.g. skydive inbox and Walk For a Cure

· Provide further support to the RFOs where necessary including mass printing, franking, booking couriers and personalising thank you letters and certificates.

· Provide additional support on Ad Hoc campaigns such as Facebook challenges.

· Ensure clear, consistent and up to date fundraising data management including adding new constituents to the fundraising database, accurately recording and maintaining supporter details, monitoring and tracking supporter income and making sure supporters are appropriately thanked in a timely manner.

· Support with social media and website updates including virtual fundraising challenges.

· Provide data support to the Senior Officer.

· Ensure all communications are in line with GDPR policies.

· Become the Central coordinator for SLF-wide activities and procedures, e.g. skydives, contactless machines and invoice processing.
 

Spotting Potential

· As the central point of contact for the SLF team, you will effectively and consistently spot opportunities to build networks among our fundraising community and flag these to the relevant members of the team.

· Identify and research potential community group and business partnerships for SLF teams.

· Use data reports to spot fundraising trends and identify opportunities.

· Help spot opportunities and contact supporters as part of our re-engagement process to encourage repeat fundraising.

· Effectively communicate ARUK’s legacy messages to supporters via telephone and in writing.

Collaboration

· Build strong relationships with teams across the organisation in order to work collaboratively, allowing you to offer the best stewardship journey to our supporters.

· Work with our Supporters and Families Team by sharing fundraiser stories to maximise potential publicity.

· Work closely with teams such as Science Communications, Digital and Design to help create appropriate stewardship journey assets for the whole of SLF.

· Liaise with our Supporter Care team to ensure processes are in-line across the organisation.

· Become involved in a Community Fundraising Project Group, adding creative insight and performing administrative and relationship-building duties based on one of our key fundraising areas.

Service Delivery:

The National Lottery Community Fund is recruiting for a Communications Manager to play a vital role in the newly restructured communications and engagement function to deliver on our strategy, It Starts With Community. 

The role is part of our ambitious transformation as we implement a significant pivot in our communications approach – building on our support for grant-making to demonstrate the powerful impact communities have in strengthening society and improving lives.

In this role, you’ll deliver integrated communications that bring our missions and the story of National Lottery funding to life. You’ll be the strategic voice behind the campaigns that highlight how communities are creating lasting social change.

You will focus on two key areas - your country, Scotland, and one of the four core missions - creating powerful alignment between them and helping to showcase the impact of community-led projects across the UK.

We are looking for a creative and strategic communicator with a passion for storytelling. You’ll be experienced in developing integrated campaigns and working across teams to deliver high-impact communications.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop deep insight into at least one portfolio and mission, to enable you to implement effective communications plans for your mission and portfolio, aligned to the corporate plan, and the Fund’s customer journey, including supporting the Strategic Communications Lead to build and manage matrix teams.
• Provide communications support to portfolio and mission leads, including creating messaging, narrative and content, social and brand assets, working closely with colleagues in the wider team to deliver effective and impactful communications activities.
• Build relationships with journalists and lead on devolved media relations activities in your country, working closely with colleagues in the media team to deliver integrated activities, monitoring media and advising on opportunities and risks. Ensure rapid response to emerging issues with processes and protocol on lines to take and spokespeople, including participating in the out of hours on call rota.

The Organisation

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

The Role

As a Retail Supervisor, you will support the delivery of our retail operations, starting at the Hyde Park Boat House and expanding to additional retail outlets.

Working closely with the Retail Manager, you’ll help ensure our shops achieve their financial goals and maintain excellent customer service and presentation standards at all times.

The Support Fund Team Leader plays a vital role in the smooth and effective running of our Support Fund Team at the MND Association. This is a key position, responsible for assisting the Support Fund Manager, co-ordinating daily tasks for the team, and helping to deliver a high-quality service to people living with and affected by MND. Key Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate the rota and operational duties of the Support Fund Team
• Provide the team with support and supervision on a day-to-day basis
• Deliver training to new staff and provide mentoring to existing team members

• Oversee the processing of support grant applications in line with organisational policies
• Ensure accurate, up-to-date records are maintained and administrative procedures followed
• Support the team to make best use of our CRM system and improve internal processes

About the role

Very much a customer-facing role, we’ll rely on you to provide IT support in a professional manner and take responsibility for resolving calls within agreed SLAs. Day-to-day you’ll receive and accurately log service desk calls, provide initial troubleshooting and aim to achieve a first call resolution where possible. As well as managing and resolving multiple 1st and 2nd line support incidents you’ll also be expected to provide users with regular updates. In addition, all updates and closure details will need to be recorded using IT Service Management software and you’ll also be required to carry out some basic systems administration tasks.

Role specifics

Highly analytical and adept at providing good customer service, you’ll need a good level of technical understanding of PC desktop infrastructure, software applications, peripheral devices and account management. We’ll also be looking for great problem solving and logical troubleshooting skills. Experience of explaining technical issues to a non-technical audience is important too, as is an understanding and awareness of Incident Management techniques. And, because you’ll be dealing with a variety of people on a daily basis, you should be comfortable liaising at all levels and working as part of a team.
