Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation.  We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. Job Purpose:

To lead the operational delivery of Women in Prison’s services across Wandsworth, Sutton and Merton, including the management of the Wandsworth Hub and line management of two Advocates. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed support for women affected by the criminal justice system and will also support the development and integration of a new South London-based project focused on women who have had children removed or are at risk of child removal.ma

Population Matters –  Director of Fundraising and Engagement

Location: Home-based with occasional travel (and a regular presence in the office).

The role of Director of Fundraising and Engagement will play a pivotal part in bringing the organisation’s five new strategic goals to life through targeted fundraising work made possible through strong relationship management, influential fundraising and engagement activity and effective partnership building with key stakeholders and donors.  Using a test and learn approach, you will develop a diverse range of donors, allies and influencers who care about the planet and who will support and amplify the charity’s work. The role will also be responsible for exploring global funding opportunities around the creation of new regional hubs and ensuring that Population Matters’ fundraising is supported by clear, compelling, positive, targeted communications.

The role will also sit on the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), working collaboratively with the CEO and other Directors to ensure the organisation delivers impact across its strategic goals.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in successfully developing and implementing fundraising strategies or plans, including leading a high performing team, as well as experience of securing funding from international sources or experience working in an international/global context. You will also have demonstratable success in developing and/or delivering an individual giving or legacy programme as well as a philanthropy or grant-seeking function.

You will have strong relationship building skills with major donors and individual supporters, able to align their giving needs with Population Matters’ work. Excellent communication skills will be combined with a resilient and optimistic approach and the ability to work independently with professional drive. Main Responsibilities of the Job

- Develop and deliver creative fundraising initiatives across various income streams (grants, individuals, events, corporates, community groups).

About our generalist advice service

We are contracted by Bath & NE Somerset council to deliver a generalist advice service to residents of the area. The contract was won by competitive tender in 2022 and runs for five years until March 2028.

The service is accessible by phone five days a week and face-to-face at three outreach locations in Bath, Keynsham and Midsomer Norton. Follow up appointments are available by phone, at our offices or outreach locations.

Sex Education Forum was founded in 1987 and became an independent charity in 2021. We convene over 70 Partner organisations, working together to make sure that the relationships and sex education (RSE) young people get is right for them. We influence national policy, are a respected voice in the media and contribute to ground-breaking research on RSE. By working in partnership with young people and training educators who work with some of the most marginalized young people, we know what changes are needed to make RSE the best it can be. We will soon be launching a new three-year strategy and have secured multi-year funding to further embed youth inclusion in our work. The Communications Manager will be a new role, working closely with the CEO and staff team, enabling us to realise the ambitions of our strategy.

We are seeking to appoint someone with a depth and breadth of communications skills. The successful candidate must be a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and have values aligned with ours. The Opportunity

The Director role is a new opportunity working across ImpactEd Evaluation. Our partnerships encompass education organisations such as charities, edtech organisations and government, and schools and multi-academy Trusts. Across all our partnerships, we aim to design and deliver high-quality research and evaluation projects that help our partners make better decisions for children using good evidence.

As a Director, you will be a senior leader of the evaluation practice and a statutory director on our Practice Board. Reflecting this, you will have a key role in the success of the practice, both commercially and in terms of social impact, and help to shape and deliver the strategy for ImpactEd Evaluation as a practice within ImpactEd Group, reporting to the Practice Lead.

The role will be a combination of business development, oversight and support of evaluation delivery, and strategic responsibilities. You will lead a number of sales and marketing campaigns, and support the design and delivery of our product offerings within those areas, as well as other priority strategic projects. You will also lead on a small number of high-priority partner engagements directly, and play a significant role in overseeing and quality assuring partnerships led by others.

The role would be ideal for a candidate with deep understanding of research and evaluation, a track record in business development, and the ambition to shape the leadership and direction of a growing social enterprise.
