Job Purpose

The Email Conversion Officer plays a role in maximising the effectiveness of our digital campaigns, channels, platforms, and user journeys.

They will work alongside the other members of the Digital Conversion teams under the direction of the Digital Conversion Manager and in collaboration with the wider Digital Team and Fundraising and Communications departments.

The role holder will improve key conversion metrics such as donations and campaign engagement through iterative design processes; making sure we fine tune our supporter journeys and enhance digital marketing practices.

The Email Conversion Officer will specifically help with:

·Optimising our post donation journeys specifically with audience segmentation

·Devising and running email testing schedules, implementing iterative improvements to meet user needs

·Creating engaging onboarding email campaigns to increase donor retention 

The post holder will be expected to identify digital trends to improve MSF UK’s fundraising appeals and advocacy campaigns. The post holder is required to think holistically; to understand and buy in to large cross-departmental strategies.

About you
We are looking for someone to join the charity’s Senior Leadership Team who will bring experience from their past successes and provide inspirational strategic leadership and direction to the fundraising and communications functions in support of the Dementia Adventure business plan, charitable mission and objectives. Role summary

To support the Head of Fundraising and Communications in the delivery of the communications and fundraising strategy at ReMind UK through planning, production and delivery of on and offline marketing communications. You will work with ReMind UK's Content Executive to plan content and delivery of regular social posts and emails to supporters and beneficiaries as well as design and production of leaflets, posters and adverts. ReMind UK overview

ReMind UK is an independent charity and internationally renowned centre for research, diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Our research aims to improve life for people with dementia and their families and carers, and to find drug and non-drug treatments for people with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and other diseases predominantly affecting older people. Our contracted NHS Memory Clinic service, private memory assessments and allied activities also provide support to people affected. We are currently in an ambitious phase of development looking to Increase our clinical and academic research programme. We work closely with the Universities of Bath, Bristol and other research Institutions, both nationally and internationally and with the Royal United Hospital, Bath.

The role

As Marketing Officer, you will play an important role in helping ReMind UK to realise its vision by overseeing marketing for ReMind UK. You will line manage a Content Executive and together you will design, produce and disseminate materials and communications to raise the profile of the organisation and its work, and in turn raise funding to enable ReMind UK to continue its vital research and support for people affected by dementia.

You will plan and deliver an annual calendar of social posts and adverts, emails, marketing and PR activities including digital and print through organic and paid for media, and working with local organisations and groups. Working closely with ReMind UK's Content Officer you will coordinate website updates and content additions.

Key responsibilities

· Line management of ReMind UK's Content Executive to create an annual plan for coordinated marketing campaigns across channels.

· Responsibility for day-to-day management of the charity’s social media channels including Facebook, BlueSky and LinkedIn, delivering consistent promotion of the organisation, ensuring content remains fresh and engaging and moderating accounts to ensure positive PR for the organisation.

Job title: Marketing Manager

Reports to: Charis Evans, Managing Director, CST Professional Development

Location: Home-based, with occasional travel for meetings and events. We provide equipment to support you working from home and pay reasonable expenses when you need to travel for work.

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 a year.

Pension: We offer a workplace pension and life assurance scheme. CST makes contributions equivalent to 10% of your gross salary.

Job overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing strategy for our conferences, events, membership and consultancy services within the education sector. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting the CST brand, increasing attendance and engagement at our events and driving membership and business growth through strategic marketing activities. They will also line manage, support and develop a Marketing Executive.

Key responsibilities

1. Developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies for CST’s services, aligned with organisational goals and values.

2. Working closely with key stakeholders to define and achieve marketing goals and income targets.

3. Engaging with CST thought leadership and policy output to understand key trends in the school trust sector and undertaking competitor analysis to identify opportunities for CST in the education market.

4. Understanding CST membership engagement data and using it to inform the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns that build audiences and pipelines for CST events and services.

5. Managing marketing calendars to ensure timely delivery of campaigns, in line with the events, communities and membership calendars.

6. Overseeing the creation of compelling marketing materials including, brochures, landing pages, social media and email campaigns, blog content and promotional video.

7. Collaborating with subject matter experts in-house and across a wide range of partners to produce thought leadership and guidance for the benefit of CST members.

8. Supporting the delivery of conferences and events and working in partnership with the events team and external partners to ensure seamless integration and quality assurance of marketing and operational activities, including onsite branding and promotional activities.

9. Working closely with CST’s Head of Communications to manage the services areas on CST’s website.

10. Build relationships with CST partners and other sector organisations to identify and create cross-promotional opportunities.

11. Using the CST CRM and other analytics platforms to report on the performance of marketing activities.

Job Purpose

As the Marketing and Communications Lead at Gaddum, you will be at the forefront of shaping and delivering Gaddum’s marketing and communications strategy. Your work will raise awareness of our services and amplify the voices of those we support, helping to change perceptions around mental health, carers and community support.

Working with the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead on strategic campaign planning, media relations, stakeholder engagement, crisis communications and brand management. You will ensure that Gaddum’s brand and voice are consistently represented across all channels – internally and externally – and that our values are effectively communicated.

You will lead content creation, ensuring all marketing materials effectively showcase Gaddum’s services. By delivering clear, impactful messaging, you’ll strengthen our presence, expand our reach and reinforce Gaddum’s reputation as a trusted leader in mental health and carers’ support.

Main Duties

Strategy and collaboration

• Work closely with internal teams, SLT and external partners (including brand, communications, digital, media agencies, and national campaigns).

• Develop organisation-wide competencies around using the brand, and empower others to become brand ambassadors for Gaddum, ensuring best use of own and organisational resource.

• Support the development of new services through market research and audience insight to maximise marketing impact.

• Where identified, collaborate with fundraising initiatives to create timely campaigns that increase income and promote key areas of work.

Brand and content management

• Provide training and support to staff on branding, marketing and media engagement.

• Manage all aspects of visual content, including photography briefs, photoshoots and our image library.

• Expand and manage Gaddum’s social media presence.

Media and public relations

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Marine Scientist to play a substantive role to support all of Oceana’s UK campaigns. Research, science and data are at the heart of Oceana’s UK work, underpinning our policy positions, creating campaign moments and answering key questions with new research.

The successful candidate will write and project manage research to unlock key campaign questions relating to overfishing, habitat protection and energy in particular, as well as other potential campaign areas in future. They will also work to increase Oceana’s presence within the academic community, attending relevant conferences and meetings and seeking future collaborations on topics of interest.

The Scientist will report to and be supported by the Director of Policy and Research, and work closely with science colleagues across the Oceana global network and beyond. Eligible candidates should have some experience in conducting research, including analysing data, but we’re equally looking for passion, motivation and a drive to protect the ocean. You should be a self-starter, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a small but growing team.

Role Overview

• Support the delivery of Oceana’s campaigns, working with the Director of Policy and Research and relevant campaign teams.
• Research, draft and/or review content for Oceana’s scientific reports and other external communications, with particular attention to scientific accuracy.
• Gather evidence to support Oceana’s UK campaigns, including analysing primary and secondary data, conducting literature reviews and creating position papers.
• Commission and project manage research from external partners as needed, managing relationships through the duration of any projects.
• Work closely with the Oceana HQ Science and Strategy team and other scientist colleagues in the Oceana network to gather insights, inspiration and knowledge.
• Coordinate relevant stakeholders to ensure internal scientific reviews are completed in line with campaign timelines.
• Build strong external relationships within the academic community and represent Oceana to ensure we advance our goals with a wide range of stakeholders, from the general public to politicians.
• Actively participate in key policy and research conferences and events to defend and advance Oceana campaign goals.
• Maintain subject matter expertise and identify areas for new research by following the current literature, attending relevant meetings, and communicating with peers in the field.
• Represent Oceana externally in relevant networks, with partners and in the media as needed.
• Conduct other policy and research tasks as agreed and required.

Candidate Requirements

Education and work experience

• Degree, ideally masters-level, in environmental, fisheries or marine science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with marine and climate issues, regulations and policies in the UK, as well as with key institutions and decision-making processes.
• Experience writing or commissioning primary or secondary research and associated materials summarising the work.
• A passion for UK seas and delivering a healthy ocean in general.

Skills and knowledge

• Familiarity with UK marine and fisheries policy and science.
• GIS and database proficiency, including basic knowledge of GIS mapping and statistical analysis.
• Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple workstreams and projects effectively to time and budget.
• Ability to represent Oceana in a professional and responsive manner both within and outside the academic community
• Excellent writing, editing, communication, organisational and research skills with the ability to confidently distil scientific messages to stakeholders with varying levels of expertise.
