Fundraising income has grown significantly over the last few years thanks to a talented staff team, and we have an ambitious strategy to grow this income even further.
Working with agencies, including a digital mobilisation agency, The Senior Individual Giving Officer will be responsible for leading growing our individual donor and supporter base and delivering an excellent supporter experience.
You’ll need to be a digital native with experience in building digital-focused approached to supporter acquisition and development.

Main purpose and scope of Role
This role will play key to engaging with and supporting PTAs across the region, as well as a variety of stakeholders such as schools, parent groups, local authorities, potential sponsors or supporters and other organisations as our suite of programmes grows. This role initially focuses on the following, but is subject to change as programmes are launched or evolved:
PTA Programme
- Growing our network of PTAs.
- Supporting PTAs through leadership transition to minimise PTAs closing unnecessarily.
- Organising gatherings of PTAs to enhance the PTA community.
- Providing training and awareness sessions for PTAs.
- Providing community support to PTAs during peak activity periods online or by phone.
- Helping schools establish PTAs and supporting them during their first year through our new PTA Launchpad programme.
- Hosting and co-ordinating virtual webinars/meetings to demonstrate the value of PTA membership and the support available.
Parent Programme
- Raising awareness of Parentkind’s growing programme of support for parents, directly or indirectly through schools or other partners.
- Building relationships with parent groups to support engagement with our growing suite of parent support opportunities.
- Organising events for parents as part of our Parent Programme.
- Building relationships with regional stakeholders to support Parent Programme activities.
Other Programmes/Services
- Encouraging uptake or (when charged) sales of our broad and growing suite of programmes and services.
- Identifying and engaging with local and regional partners for our range of programmes.
- Feeding into programme design.
Wider Stakeholder Engagement:
- Attending appropriate conferences and educational meetings across the region.
- Developing relationships with key local authorities and individuals so they advocate our services and the benefits of our programmes
- Developing relationships with MATs so that they can advocate Parentkind and the benefits of its programmes.
- Identify any opportunities for external funding to from LA’s, Companies, or other funders with the support of our fundraising team.
Organisational Effectiveness:
- Create and implement operational annual plans and schedules to support our regional targets, ensuring that time specific milestones for their delivery are met.
- Regularly report on the health of our campaigns within your region, through identified KPIs and organisational targets.
- Ensure all knowledge and information is recorded, processed and maintained according to good administration practice.

- To keep abreast of relevant educational policy and legislation affecting our key audiences.

We are recruiting a Marketing and Communications Officer to champion and manage the PAPYRUS brand and support the delivery of our projects and services through data-driven campaigns, across email, organic social, and paid digital marketing channels.
What you will do:
Support the day to day running of social media platforms to promote our services, increase brand awareness and drive engagement with our audiences.

YMCA DownsLink Group’s WiSE (What is Sexual Exploitation) Project is an innovative, award winning project working across East Sussex, Brighton & Hove and Surrey, with children and young people experiencing or at risk of sexual exploitation; as well as raising awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation and other forms of Child Criminal Exploitation.
We are looking for someone with the confidence to develop a new support offer for Surrey. This new post offers the opportunity to work in the WiSE team in Surrey in an exciting new role which has two strands to it; providing targeted early intervention peer group sessions to young people (up to 25 years,) who have been identified by their educational placement as being vulnerable too sexual or criminal exploitation. The role also entails working alongside Education and other agencies to prevent Violence Against Women and Girls by creating and facilitating training to teachers of the PSHE curriculum in both Primary and Secondary schools in Surrey. The successful applicant will be supported in the role through Reflective Supervision Practice, along with regular one-to-ones.
This role will be based out of a Police Station in Surrey, which can be discussed at interview. There will be frequent travel and it is essential you hold a current driving license and have access to your own car.

Lancashire Mind is a local charity working to prevent poor mental health. We support people experiencing common mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression. We work with children and adults, offering universal services to help people improve their mental wellbeing, along with targeted services for people and communities at increased risk of experiencing poor mental health or facing mental health inequalities. We’re working towards a Lancashire where everyone can have the best mental health and wellbeing possible.
We have a responsibility to engage the communities we serve, to make sure we know and understand them. It's vital we do this to identify need and understand barriers and to design services alongside people. We do this well on an individual service level, with many of our projects designed with the people who use them but we need to improve how we involve people with lived experience in organisation-wide development plans and key decision making.
To help us work towards our plans for embedding participation, we're looking for someone to join our Engagement and Inclusion Team to work with the communities we aim to serve, with a focus on those who are underrepresented within Lancashire Mind services. The role has been designed to ensure that the experiences, perspectives and ideas of local people are being listened to and acted upon.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within communities and knowledge of the barriers that people face to achieving mental wellbeing and accessing services. You'll be confident, creative and able to work autonomously in the community, where you'll communicate with a wide range of people and quickly build rapport.
The focus of the role will be to ensure that more people with lived experience of poor mental health know who Lancashire Mind are, what we do and how they can influence our work. You'll work with the Community Engagement Projects Lead to create a range of opportunities for people to participate, including establishing formal structures, for example a lived experience panel and youth advisory group, which you'll design with the people who want to get involved. You'll work with colleagues across all teams to ensure opportunities to influence Lancashire Mind's work are promoted to everyone who uses our services.

The Communications Officer is a key supporting role within the Communications team. The post holder will research, write, and publish content across various channels, liaising with teams across the organisation to help identify content. They will report to the Communications Manager and contribute to the work of the wider communications team, helping to deliver marketing campaigns and the communications strategy. The post holder will have a data driven approach and be comfortable reporting on analytics, whether that’s in relation to PR, social media or on specific campaigns. We have been part of the wider Debt Free Advice partnership for over a decade and have success in delivering high quality debt advice to local residents who are facing financial difficulties. The demand for the service in light of the cost of living crisis has increased substantially over recent years and we are looking to expand our team.
We are seeking an experienced debt advice caseworker who has a proven track record in helping and assisting clients facing financial difficulties and providing creative solutions to help alleviate their challenges in a sensitive and supportive role. They will have an awareness of having successfully provided debt advice in a regulated environment.
The successful candidate would be expected to work a hybrid model of delivery - in an office environment, outreach sessions as well as home based. They would be expected to provide advice via omni-channels such as face to face, telephone and email advice.

About Women in Prison
Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.
Job Purpose:
To provide strategic oversight and operational management for Women in Prison services in Surrey. The role will focus on delivering Surrey Women’s CRS probation contract, which involves providing holistic one to one support and advocacy to women serving community orders, and will also focus on development of the Surrey programme.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Lead on the operational management and strategic oversight of the Surrey programme, ensuring high quality, trauma responsive services are delivered to women in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with, the criminal justice system.
- Provide effective leadership to the Surrey team, fostering a positive and supportive culture.
- Monitor case management systems to ensure accurate and timely data recording, aligning with contract KPIs and WIP’s policies.
- Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders, such as the Probation and local authority leads to ensure effective service delivery.
