About the role

We are seeking an exceptional, creative and strategic fundraising leader to shape and deliver a new public fundraising and supporter engagement strategy, driving significant income growth across individual giving, legacies, community, events and trading.

As Associate Director, Public Fundraising, you will be a motivating leader for the talented Supporter Engagement team.  You will work with your leadership group to build on our successful approach to mass fundraising, aligning with our new organisational strategy to drive long-term transformational growth.

We are seeking someone with a passion for audience-led fundraising, who will lead and empower the team of 46 to explore new opportunities, grow income and build sustainable relationships.  Ultimately this will mean that our public fundraising programme will enable the charity to deliver its ambitious vision for the future, ensuring that every young person with cancer gets the support they need.

This is a pivotal role across the wider Income Generation directorate, supporting the Director and colleagues to deliver the overall Income Generation strategy, demonstrating YLvC values, and helping to develop our high performing team.

What will I be doing?

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work closely with the Vice President of International Fundraising and senior department staff, as well as key contractors and vendors, to identify short- and long-term fundraising goals, objectives, and metrics, and effective strategies to meet those goals

• Work with all department staff to ensure strong morale, effective team building, and intradepartmental communications

• Work with staff members to create a work environment conducive to creativity, cooperation, and “best practices”

• Work with PETA and other PETA entities to increase online and e-mail donations, direct-mail and telemarketing donations, prize-led fundraising, and net income

• Support the Vice President of International Fundraising to develop and implement strategies to solicit major gift income and planned gifts for PETA and other PETA entities

What the job involves

We’re looking for someone to join our in-house Film and Photography team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of video projects, working with a friendly, supportive, and talented creative team.

You’ll focus on editing a wide range of content, from event promotions and social media clips to documentaries and campaign films. Beyond editing, you'll also be an integral part of our shoots, helping with everything from monitoring camera feeds to assisting with basic production duties and managing equipment. You'll also play a crucial role in keeping our team's processes and systems running smoothly, including assisting with administration and managing our Digital Asset Library.

What we want from you

We’re looking for a Video Content Editor who is confident using Adobe Premiere Pro to edit video content and have experience in colour grading and audio restoration. You’ll have a good understanding of creating content for different channels, especially social media formats, and be organised, reliable, and happy to pitch in across editing, shoots, and administrative tasks. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the organisation are essential, as is a good eye for detail and the ability to follow brand guidelines. Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a small, busy creative team are also key, as is being a self-starter who's happy to take initiative and hit the ground running.

It would be great if you also have experience shooting film and/or photography, particularly at small events, knowledge of social media video formats and optimisation, and basic motion graphics or animation skills using Adobe After Effects.

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to support a range of fundraising initiatives within QAC’s Fundraising Department 

Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: 52 weeks
Annual Leave: 7.2 weeks, including Bank Holidays.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Research and promote a range of suitable challenge based events, supporting the administration and registrations as required.
• Respond to and support community fundraisers.
• Maintain relationships with regular donors.
• Ensure good stewardship of supporters including thank you letters, charity updates etc in line with GDPR.
• Manage information and utilise the CRM system for recording of data.
• Provide updates and graphics for the website and social media platforms.
• Work with fundraisers to obtain case studies/fundraiser profiles where possible.
• Support the running of campaigns and events.
• Actively support the organisation with fundraising events and initiatives (internal and external) to support the charity in all areas (college, residential services and community services.
• Monitor JustGiving Pages and follow up on activity as appropriate.
• Support in the development and management of community and stakeholder opportunities
• Support the creation of external promotional materials relating to fundraising events and initiatives.
• Work as part of the Fundraising Team supporting activities as and when the need arises.

Other Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing efficient administration support to the Fundraising team
• To support the general running of the office and to support other colleagues as and when required. 
• To have experience of producing fundraising/promotional literature e.g. leaflets and brochures

Considerations:

• The Fundraising Team is small, working closely with other teams including Marketing, Enterprises and Curriculum, so flexibility in approach is a must.
• Some periods will be busier than others, for example events seasons, student performance times, so prioritisation and flexibility will be needed.

We are the county’s leading local charity working towards a county rich in wildlife and managing over 3,000 acres of land for wildlife and people across Worcestershire. We work with organisations and landowners to protect and connect wildlife sites across the county.

The organisation is currently supported by around 23,000 members and supporters, which is around one in 25 residents in Worcestershire. To date we have successfully recruited members through our membership recruiters, with others coming direct to us through our website or by visiting us at Lower Smite Farm. We need to continue to grow our membership supporter base and we need someone with the fundraising experience to help lead this growth and introduce innovative suggestions throughout the supporter journey and experience to strengthen recruitment and improve our retention and ultimately increase our income generation.

The role will focus on progressing our work around the supporter journey, ensuring that we reach as many potential supporters as possible and enable them to understand our work and feel motivated to support the organisation. About the role

You will work cross-functionally to break down silos, develop an integrated digital strategy, and rapidly scale up our digital activity to meet our fundraising growth ambitions. You’ll set the bar for digital best practice and champion this across the organisation; sharing learning, helping outline a roadmap to becoming a digital-first organisation. You’ll support across teams with testing and innovating new products and propositions.

This role will require a digital strategist with experience across the mix – from mobilisation and campaigning to fundraising and supporter experience. A keen eye for analysis and an audience-led approach, enables you to look beyond any one function or objective to drive growth; be that income, impact or engagement. You’ll have ample experience and/or knowledge of a wide variety of digital platforms and tools including CMS systems, Google Analytics, PowerBi, Impact Stack/Engaging Networks, MailChimp, social media and Adwords.

This is a part-time role but we are open to flexible working arrangements and a discussion around hours.

The Talent Set are delighted to be working with a top UK homelessness charity to find their Senior Stewardship Officer.

The charity offers a flexible working environment, with hybrid working 2-3 days per week from their London office.

The Senior Stewardship Officer will sit within Individual Giving. You will be responsible for increasing income by implementing, managing and reporting on fundraising campaigns to engage and inspire existing donors, through a variety of different channels. A key part of this role involves optimising existing campaign setup which in turn will allow a seamless donor journey and uptake in income generation and ensuring that messages are on brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Senior Stewardship Manager and Stewardship Officer, to develop and deliver the warm cash stewardship programme, growing income from existing individual donors, through a planned programme of communications and propositions which maintain brand integrity.
• Liaising with Data & Insight teams to analyse campaign results and continuously optimise performance.
• Writing inspiring briefs for our creative agency to develop engaging communications.
• Building strong relationships with Digital, Communications and wider Fundraising teams to identify opportunities for collaborative working.
• Managing relationships with our fulfilment, telephone, digital, creative and print & production partners. Sharing insight and briefing them on campaign workflows, as necessary.

Person Specification:

· Experience of managing direct marketing campaigns including direct mail, telephone, email & digital. Working on various campaigns and channels concurrently.

· Experience of managing agencies – creative, printers, fulfilment and telemarketing etc.
