You will shape the strategy, grow and steward our community of individual supporters, and define what this looks like for Wish. What you will be doing
You will identify, engage and grow a community of individual supporters who feel deeply connected to our mission, developing propositions and campaigns that are emotionally compelling and inspire long-term giving. You will represent Wish confidently, create the systems and supporter journeys that enable sustainable growth, and lay the foundations for an individual giving programme that grows in both income and impact. As income grows, so does the role. The expectation is that this person builds not just a strong base of individual supporters but, in time, a team around it.
You will work closely with the Head of Income Generation and Board, with realistic targets in the early stages that give you the time and space to build meaningful relationships rather than focus on short-term gains. This is not a role where you will be left to figure it out alone. It is one where your ideas are valued, your judgement is trusted, and your ambition is actively supported.
What you will bring
Experience developing, growing or significantly influencing individual giving income streams, including regular giving and lottery programmes, and engaging supporters at scale to inspire long-term and higher-value giving. Experience of managing the end-to-end supporter journey through CRM systems, using insight and data to drive acquisition, retention and growth.
A strong instinct for understanding what motivates people to give, and the ability to turn that insight into campaigns and experiences that feel personal, compelling and effective. Comfort with ownership, and the confidence to create momentum and build something from the ground up.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced, driven and creative Marketing and Events Manager who brings a genuine passion for fundraising and events — and the skills to match. This is not primarily a desk-based marketing role: you will be the engine behind our events programme and a key driver of our fundraising income.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the planning and delivery of CWC’s events calendar, manage our fundraising activities, and oversee the work of the Marketing and Events Officer. You will be equally comfortable developing the strategy and getting stuck into the detail of execution.
Events will be at the heart of what you do. You will take ownership of our flagship event, coordinate a varied programme of fundraising events, sector conferences and networking activities, and ensure every event is professionally delivered and leaves supporters feeling connected to our mission. You will manage relationships with venues, suppliers and sponsors, and keep a close eye on budgets and income targets.
Fundraising will be a core focus. You will be responsible for achieving financial targets from individual and corporate fundraising, developing creative campaigns across platforms such as Enthuse and JustGiving, and building the kind of relationships with supporters and partners that turn one-off donations into long-term engagement.
Alongside this, you will lead and support the Marketing and Events Officer, ensuring our marketing output — social media, newsletters, website content and campaigns — is consistent, engaging and aligned with our strategic goals.
About You
You will have a proven track record in events management and fundraising, ideally within the charity sector. You know what it takes to plan and deliver events from first concept through to post-event evaluation, and you understand how events can drive income as well as awareness.
You will be a confident, organised and proactive person who can manage competing priorities without losing sight of quality or deadlines. You will be comfortable working independently, managing your own workload and supporting others to manage theirs.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A proven track record in events management, with demonstrable experience of delivering fundraising income from events
- At least two years’ experience in a charity fundraising or events role
- Experience of line managing or supervising others
- Excellent relationship-building skills with sponsors, corporate partners and individual supporters
- Confidence using fundraising platforms (e.g. Enthuse, JustGiving) and CRM/database systems (Hubspot experience an advantage)
- Strong working knowledge of social media platforms, email marketing tools and website content management
- Experience managing budgets, monitoring income and expenditure, and reporting on financial performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong project management skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for the charity’s mission and the people we support
Knowledge of the health and social care sector would be a distinct advantage, though not essential.

About the Role
The role sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising (CEF) directorate and reports to its director. We are looking for a passionate, talented Individual Giving Manager to join our ambitious, successful Fundraising team that has been growing year-on-year since 1989 as we approach our new fundraising strategy.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Individual Giving Manager will lead the development of Kids Cancer Charity’s first comprehensive individual giving programme, building all activity from the ground up. This includes designing compelling supporter propositions, establishing donor journeys, and creating engaging campaigns that drive acquisition and long-term support.
A key part of the role will be scoping, procuring, and managing external suppliers, agencies, platforms, and partners required to deliver individual giving products and activity. This includes the development and future launch of new income streams for Kids Cancer Charity, such as a charity lottery, as well as regular giving, legacy marketing, and in-memory giving opportunities.
The postholder will play a central role in shaping the future of supporter engagement at Kids Cancer Charity, introducing best practice, ensuring strong stewardship, and embedding a supporter‑centred culture across the organisation.
JOB PURPOSE
To develop, launch, and grow Kids Cancer Charity’s first individual giving programme, building sustainable income streams that support our vital work in supporting children affected by cancer in the UK. As the first dedicated individual giving role, you will design the strategy and deliver hands on activity, creating compelling propositions, supporter journeys and campaigns across regular giving, one‑off gifts, lottery, legacies and in‑memory giving.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning and Strategy
- Develop Kids Cancer Charity’s first Individual Giving strategy, setting clear plans, targets, and opportunities for growth across all giving products.
- Introduce and embed best practice in compliance, data management, supporter care, and ethical fundraising.
Supplier and Partner Development
- Scope organisational needs and procure/manage suppliers, agencies and platforms required to deliver individual giving activity.
- Lead onboarding and manage delivery to agreed standards, budgets and timelines.
Supporter Engagement and Campaign Development
- Design end‑to‑end supporter journeys (acquisition, welcome, nurture, upgrade, reactivation, retention).
- Plan and deliver multi‑channel campaigns (digital, social, email, paid, direct mail) to acquire, retain and engage supporters.
- Build audience understanding through segmentation, insight and experimentation.
- Work closely with other teams to embed Individual Giving into the organisation.
Product Development
- Scope and pilot propositions for: Regular Giving, Digital one‑off, Charity Lottery, Legacy Giving, In‑Memory, Appeals/integrated campaigns, and Mid‑value.
- Produce product business cases with KPIs, budgets, phasing and implementation plans.
Reporting and Evaluation
- Establish reporting and monitoring frameworks for Individual Giving activity.
- Use early data and insight to inform decision‑making, future planning, and product development.
- Ensure all activity complies with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice, GDPR, PECR and Gambling Commission requirements.
- Monitor and report on individual giving performance against KPIs and targets, reporting on performance to the General Manager.

‘Generous Giving’ is a small but vibrant and established team that is part of the wider diocesan Mission and Ministry Team, under the leadership of the Director of Mission and Ministry. The focus of Generous Giving is to work with parish leadership
teams (both lay and ordained) across the diocese to develop and promote a clear vision for Christian giving by building on and encouraging a culture of generosity and enabling giving through a variety of mechanisms. This includes helping parishes to createan annual giving strategy that supports their local vision, as well as the diocesan vision and sustainability

The Gurkha Welfare Trust provides vital support to Gurkha veterans, their families and communities in Nepal. This role’s primary responsibilities will be as follows:
1. Develop and implement the Trust’s Individual Giving acquisition strategy across regular giving, one‑off donors, mid‑value supporters, and legacy pledgers, in collaboration with the Head of Fundraising & Communications.
2. Lead the planning and management of the annual acquisition budget, ensuring income and expenditure forecasts are accurate and regularly monitored.

Role purpose:
To develop and deliver an Earthwatch individual giving programme. Role purpose
The Senior Individual Giving Manager is responsible for driving the growth of Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis’ individual giving income through data-led acquisition, engaging fundraising campaigns and exceptional donor stewardship. This role owns the income targets and leads the strategy and execution of individual gifts, regular giving, direct mail appeals (digital and print), inmemory giving and lottery. They will coordinate direct mail campaigns and support the Operations team to deliver meaningful stewardship. Key Responsibilities
1. Individual giving strategy and stewardship
- Lead and grow APF’s individual giving programme, helping to build meaningful relationships with our supporters.
- Map out and improve the donor journey from first interaction through to long-term support, increasing acquisition, retention and lifetime value.
- Track and monitor income performance, contributing insight to forecasting and helping shape realistic and ambitious targets.
- Lead on the evaluation and analysis of the Individual Giving programme by monitoring performance against objectives and using sector trends, benchmarking and competitor insights to strengthen our approach.
- Identify and address any barriers in the donor journey to improve conversion and engagement.
- Support the Operations Team to deliver consistently meaningful and timely stewardship to individuals including those giving in memory of loved ones.
2. Direct mail campaign coordination
- Coordinate direct mail appeals and renewal campaigns from planning through to delivery, developing compelling fundraising requests aligned to organisational priorities and connect supporters with APF’s impact.
- Develop campaign briefs, segmentation plans and income projections.
- Manage campaign timelines and work with external suppliers where required to ensure activity runs smoothly.
- Monitor response rates, ROI and overall income performance.
- Capture and apply learning from each campaign to continually improve and strengthen future activity.
3. Regular giving programme development
- Lead the development and growth of APF’s regular giving programme, including the lottery product, helping to build a strong and sustainable base of monthly supporters.
- Create recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies that welcome and inspire regular donors.
- Develop tailored stewardship journeys that keep monthly supporters connected to the impact of their giving.
- Monitor and track acquisition, attrition and upgrade trends to inform future growth.
- Test and refine propositions to strengthen long term income and supporter engagement.
4. Data segmentation and insight
- Lead audience segmentation across individual giving activity to ensure supporters receive relevant and meaningful communications.
- Use CRM data and behavioural insight to inform targeting and messaging and campaign planning.
- Produce regular analysis of performance sharing insights and recommendations.
- Champion a culture of testing, learning and continuous improvement across fundraising activity.
5. Acquisition through engagement pathways
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Services, Involvement and other teams to identify opportunities to introduce appropriate fundraising requests within wider engagement journeys.
- Use a mixture of digital and direct mail acquisition techniques to attract new supporters, increasing both the number of donors and their engagement with APF.
- Support the development of workflows that that define next steps following different types of engagement and shape clear engagement pathways that support conversion from initial engagement through to appropriate fundraising opportunities.
- Ensure lived experience and inclusive practice are reflected in all design and messaging.
6. Supporter care standards and compliance
- Support operational teams to deliver a high standard of supporter care at every stage of the supporter journey.
- Provide guidance on stewardship principles and help navigate more complex supporter relationships.
- Work with the Governance and Operations Manager to ensure all activities complies with GDPR and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
- Use data and engagement insights to identify high-value or high-potential supporters and refer them appropriately.

We’re looking for an Individual Giving Manager (9-month maternity cover) to achieve BMS’ fundraising strategy and goals by stimulating new and repeat donations from individual givers and leading creative innovative fundraising campaigns.
