We are a young and thriving charity providing education about healthy and unhealthy behaviours so that young people have the knowledge and skills to avoid abuse and thrive in their relationships. We work in schools, community organisations and workplaces across London.
LMK is growing at pace and we are ambitious in our plans for the future. We’ve already engaged 15,000 young people and professionals in our workshops in our first 4 years and we want to reach 10,000 young people per year by 2025-26.
We will achieve this by engaging new schools, community groups and workplaces in our offer, whilst also continuing to provide a high-quality service to those who have already experienced LMK workshops, embedding our programme into their annual delivery plans.

Job Purpose
The purpose of the Programme Coordinator is co-ordinate with all parties (Community Engagement Manager, the Programme Manager, LMK Leaders and the host organisations) to enable LMK to deliver high quality workshops for young people/youth work professionals/workplaces.
Acting as the lynchpin of the organisation’s delivery team, the Programme Coordinator takes the workshop brief from the LMK Community Engagement Manager and then works with the Programme Manager to secure facilitators (LMK leaders), ensures the host organisation receives all supporting information, and provides LMK Leaders with the resources they need to deliver the workshop effectively. This role is also responsible for regular reporting about workshop bookings and delivery.
Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will be part of LMK’s core staff team. You will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders, members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our long-term strategy.
Key responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service to organisations who are hosting LMK workshops, ensuring that all communication is timely and accurate, and any questions are responded to in full.

Liaise with the Programme Manager and LMK Leaders to ensure there is clear understanding around their areas of expertise, availability and any specific considerations that need to be taken into account when delivering workshops.

Open up opportunities to deliver workshops to any Leader applicable, ensuring the allocation of workshops is done fairly and consistently.

Ensure LMK leaders have the information and resources required to deliver their workshop.

Work closely with the Research and Evaluation Manager to ensure that the correct evaluation surveys are made available to workshop participants.

Work with our Head of Fundraising to track workshop delivery against funder commitments.

Keep the CRM system data up to date in a timely way.

Produce regular reports for the CEO on the booking and delivery of workshops, as well as any ad-hoc reports requested.

Share Leader evaluation feedback from workshops with Leaders.

Check invoices submitted by LMK leaders, and work with the Programme Manager to get them approved.

Support the Programme Manager to organise LMK Leader Huddles and training events.

Comply with our policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, confidentiality, complaints and data protection.
Person specification

At least 2 years’ experience in an event management/admin management/executive assistant/operations role where there was a strong requirement to work with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.

About the role
We require someone who is able to provide a range of business support functions to the Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns Department (PPC), specifically the reporting and monitoring of grants-funded projects delivered within PPC and the administration of grants out to partners including use of our international programme management system.
The post holder will champion ways of working across the department that align with Christian Aid's strategy and systems and work closely with the Data Strategy and Transformation Lead and relevant teams to drive operational excellence and innovation that leads to smooth and effective business processes. This will include the coordination of a new PPC quarterly dashboard to track progress, improve decision making and assess impact.
The post holder may also be asked to coordinate and administrate discrete projects within the department as required such as refreshing the departmental intranet on SharePoint or work collaboratively with colleagues under the direction of a project manager within project teams. You will also be required to act as short-term cover for the Director's Executive Assistant during periods of absence and provide administrative advice for PPC staff.
About you
To thrive in this role, you will need to be comfortable with data and applying logical thinking to gathering and analysing information including the financial data required for monitoring and budgeting. You will have the ability to switch seamlessly between core tasks and project activities. You will bring your experience in creating and using spreadsheets for financial and information management, including use of web / intranet-based systems, databases, and good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel. You will have a relevant degree or postgraduate qualification and motivation to work in the charity sector and international development.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to generate vital income for their work in making a society in which people are safer and feel safer. About the role
The Corporate Partnerships Manager role is responsible for delivery across the breadth of the partnerships pipeline. An estimated 50% of the role will be devoted to new business development, including prospect identification, and shaping and delivering pitches and proposals to corporates and their foundations to meet fundraising targets. The remaining 50% of partnership work will be dedicated to delivering an excellent standard of partnership management to several longstanding existing supporters, working creatively to identify and develop opportunities to maximise their impact.
As our corporate supporters can be powerful partners in the delivery of our advocacy and communications goals you will be confident working with colleagues internally to translate campaign plans into engagement opportunities for private sector partners. You will also be able to co-ordinate colleagues to meet new business deadlines and to ensure agreed partnership deliverables are achieved.
This role sits within our Philanthropy and Partnerships team of five, who focus on income generation through grants, philanthropy, corporate partnerships and individual giving and fundraising. The post holder will work particularly closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, as well as equipping Directors and our CEO to engage corporate partners and prospects where appropriate. As a member of a comparatively small, highly ambitious team, there may, with time, be opportunities for the post holder to extend their experience beyond corporate partnerships, into other fundraising areas, should your skill set meet an identified need.
About you
You may be an established corporate fundraiser seeking a role where you can take on greater responsibility for managing your own pipeline of prospects and key partnerships. Equally you may come from outside the sector and be able to offer clearly transferable experience of securing and developing partnerships (especially those with a “purpose” focus).
Whatever your background you will be a self-starter who is highly motivated and excited by the opportunity to think creatively about corporate partnerships that can enable Malaria No More UK’s unique advocacy and campaigning offer, with a clear goal to ending one of the world’s most significant and oldest killer diseases.
You will also be able to demonstrate the good organisation needed for successful partnership management, and the attention to detail and strong communication skills needs to build relationships and prepare and deliver funding proposals and pitches.

About the opportunity
Fundraising is critical to delivering our mission and ensuring we can support as many children and young people facing disadvantage to open doors to their future. The Philanthropy Team as a whole has a combined target income for the current year (2023-24) of £1.83 million (growing to £2.35m as our target for next year), of which approximately £850k is from corporate donors and their foundations, £100k is from individuals, and the remaining from trusts and foundations. We have been successful year on year in increasing our fundraising base by building secure multi-year partnerships.
We are looking for a Fundraising Manager to work within our passionate Philanthropy Team to help grow our fundraised income and develop and maintain an effective, high-quality funding pipeline. Focussing predominantly on eliciting funding from trusts and foundations, and working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, CEO and Corporate Partnerships Manager, the Fundraising Manager will ensure the effective management of existing funder relations and take responsibility for ensuring Action Tutoring meets its reporting obligations. The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for the line-management and development of three Fundraising Coordinators, through which you and your team will prepare and submit grant applications and funding reports, alongside overseeing the development and growth of our individual giving activities and initiatives, including through expansion of our fundraising events and campaigns.

Duties and responsibilities

This role requires an ambitious, passionate and determined individual with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Working to deadlines and line-managing three Fundraising Coordinators, exceptional time-management, prioritisation and organisation skills are essential. With a focus on developing our individual giving strategies, we’re looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
