About you

If your project management skills are first class and you can support and lead a team, then this is the role for you.
Our location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, however, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although there will be times when you will need to be at face-to-face meetings. The charity meets four times a year at its office in Hatfield for our mandatory 'All Staff Together' days.

In this busy role, you’ll assist in the delivery of legacy marketing campaigns across a range of channels, including digital, telemarketing, legacy events and direct mail, and help to promote gifts in wills to internal audiences too. Key Responsibilities:

Support the charity’s role the secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Radiotherapy (APPG-RT): plan and organise events and meetings and maintain regular communication with members.

Monitor and research parliamentary developments, consultations, and legislation of interest to RTUK, producing briefings aligned with the charity’s objectives.

Conduct stakeholder mapping to identify and engage key political figures, including policymakers, parliamentary body leaders, officials, and advisers.

Maintain and develop RTUK’s current policy positions, and create new ones as required.

Summary of the role:
The Fundraising Volunteer Assistant (Ramadan Campaign) plays a crucial role in the lead up to and post Ramadan. The role provides critical support in fundraising collections and events. It plays a vital role in guaranteeing the secure storage and prompt utilisation of all funds and pledges. Additionally, it will collaborate and coordinate volunteers in their involvement in diverse fundraising endeavours (e.g. events, mosque activities and street collections).
The role will involve working occasional unsociable hours (weekends and evenings) and national travel, sometimes at short notice, during the Ramadan period to maximise our income generating opportunities.
About the Role:
- Support organised activities and events as part of the Ramadan work-plan.

Climate Campaigner: Fossil Fuels
The Climate Campaigner will be an essential member of EIA’s Climate Campaign team, focusing primarily on advancing a managed, equitable phase-out of fossil fuels. This role centres on supporting the expansion of the Beyond Oil and Gas Alliance (BOGA), working to enhance its structure, broaden its membership, and identify effective pathways for developing a global governance framework on fossil fuels.
The Climate Campaigner will oversee the daily operations of key aspects of the fossil fuel campaign, ensuring the campaign strategy is delivered effectively and within established timelines. The role involves close collaboration and coordination, both within EIA and with external partners in the EU and globally.
About you:
Essential:
- undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant field along with an understanding of climate change science and the role of fossil fuels
- Experience in advocacy and campaigning on global environmental policy is essential along with experience in conducting detailed targeted research projects and tasks
- An understanding of UNFCCC/UN General Assembly and UNEA processes and experience in engaging and influencing diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, industry groups and the media is essential.

What we offer:
Location: Hybrid Working – offices in London Islington 2 days per week (3 or 4 days a week during induction and probation period) and home working. Some travel may be required as part of the role.
Hours: 40 hours per week, including a paid hour for lunch
Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
Contract Type: Fixed term contract - 12 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability.

About the role
Following the launch of Imperial’s bold and ambitious strategy, Science for Humanity, in March 2024, Imperial is now preparing to launch a comprehensive fundraising and engagement campaign to support the delivery of its strategy. This will be a 10-year effort and one of the biggest campaigns in the UK. Imperial is seeking a talented and driven Campaign Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping this 10-year campaign, working closely with colleagues across the university and within the Advancement team in pursuit of the campaign.
What you would be doing
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Campaign and Supporter Engagement, the Campaign Manager is a new position which will play a key role in the development and implementation of the campaign. You will lead the project management of the campaign and will ensure Advancement works effectively with leadership volunteers and will lead on our internal stakeholder engagement across Imperial. You will help to raise the visibility of Advancement internally and build upon existing collaborations in achieving our fundraising goals and objectives. We’re looking to recruit a Philanthropy Campaigns Manager to join our Supporter Income & Engagement team. Animal Equality is an international animal protection organisation working with society, governments and companies to end cruelty to farmed animals. Animal Equality has offices in the United Kingdom, United States, Germany, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Brazil and India.
Animal Equality releases investigative materials captured from inside factory farms and slaughterhouses, exposing the conditions that farmed animals face around the world. We publish our findings on television, in newspapers and online. We routinely secure mainstream media coverage, including on the BBC, ITV, Sky news, The Times, the Guardian, New York Times and many more.

About the Role
An experienced advocate with a proven track-record, the Campaigns and Public Affairs Manager will play a vital role in overseeing, delivering and publicly communicating Animal Equality’s life-saving campaigns on behalf of farmed animals.

The Campaign and Programme Lead: Health & Human Rights leads Medact’s work coordinating the Patients Not Passports campaign, supporting health workers and migrant communities to bring an end to immigration checks and healthcare charging in the NHS. You will work in close partnership with the Access to Healthcare organiser at Migrants Organise, and with colleagues across Medact’s team.
The role involves holding Medact’s key knowledge base on health and human rights issues. This can cover migration and health, immigration detention, data-sharing and artificial intelligence in public services, and civil liberties issues. You will build relationships across the health community and wider human rights and migration spaces, from establishment institutions to frontline worker and grassroots groups.
At Medact we have a management structure, but we organise ourselves to minimise the impact of hierarchy and make use of everyone’s skills and expertise—being part of our team means taking an active role in strategic decisions.
About you
This isn’t an entry-level role but you don’t need to have had a job in an NGO before or be a professional campaigner to be right for it. You might have worked with your local community to campaign on a social justice or health issue that you care about. Or, you might be a health worker who has seen the impact of these issues on your patients and wants to challenge the systems that drive inequality and marginalisation. You might have been impacted by the hostile environment yourself and want to take action to change it.
You’ll have a strong understanding of power and how to work with others to create pressure for change. You’ll have an understanding of how digital communications compliment campaigning, an eye for a good media story and the know-how to get it out into the world.
